A lot of restaurants and beach shops line the street, and is a wonderful laundromat just 150’ from the hotel’s front door

I had a great time, the staff were welcoming and the location was excellent.

Only down side I could find was the in-room hairdryer was basicslly ineffective - Made noises and smelt of burning when used but no actually abilty to use (only found out at 1am when no one was around shortly before i was leaving for a early flight)

The room was excellent, spacious and came with a balcony. This was extremely useful come the evening when wanting to relax. The bed was firm, but not overly which for me was perfect as it was

Its well placed and was pretty much easy to get around from. Clubs/Bars just up the hill with more dotted around. Plenty of dining options around St Julian too, all easy enough to walk to

The air con seemed locked at 22 degrees also, no idea how to change it. Other than those, the stay was enjoyable, comfortable and definitely will consider staying again

We were here with my fiancee 4 times. Very good kitchen, nice atmosphere, live music and almost every day there was an offer of 3,4 courses like Malta night, all you can eat night and etc. Good prices and service.

Lovely hotel, nice area, absolutely no complaints it’s not a massive posh hotel but it’s definitely not as bad as some of the reviews I’ve read. Great views and very convenient location

Convenient hotel with a very nice pool. Close to several convenient stores.

Simple. Good ratio cost-room. Great pool

Location is good enough, especially when you are travelling by car as you are a 20 minute walk away from the city centre (parking is free on the street outside but you might have to walk a bit due to scarcity of place)

For two nights two persons breakfast included less than 100 euros. Taking also in consideration not high season and construction is on. Non of this affected our stay

We went May June and July, we enjoyed it all, the staff were very helpful, the pool has sea water which we prefer, the rooms are big and have a kitchenette, and most of all the Internet is good which some hotels do not have or you have to pay for it

We were here on the rush of the season - late July and early August and it is a shame that 80% of the facilities do not operate

Staff amazingly great especially Eric. Freshly made continental breakfast. Hotel rooms very comfortable with the best views. Cannot understand the bad reviews

We asked for a double bed but they gave us two single United beds instead which kept moving apart from each other (obviously). Our fridge in the room was broken and kept bringing water out

Other than these, the staff was really nice and helpful. We arrived really late but one member, even though he had finished his shift, checked us in and showed the room

I have booked this hotel for 2 nights and requested double room and far from the elevator, non of my requested was attended. The rest was okay, breakfast was fair to the price paid

The hotel offers guests free and unlimited water bottle refills by the water dispenser in the reception, and the water is ice cold. Also the staff are super helpful and polite. My experience was very positive!

Steep 1/4 mile walk to bus route and out of the way. Local area run down and dirty. Roads and pavement uneven and not suitable for disabilities. Rooms outdated and worn out but kept clean

Beautiful sea view from our balcony. Breakfast ok but you need to be early, as food goes cold and runs out. TV but no English speaking channels

We didn't have high expectations after reading some of the reviews, however for a 3 star hotel this is ideal! It is a little out the way of the main St Paul's Bay area, but it's nice and quiet, the views are beautiful!! There's a shop, a couple restaurants and cafes within a 10 min walk

Visited here on October,The room was pretty decent and location was outstanding the ocean waves and birds literally the best morning view one can witness, the staff was nice n friendly, wasn’t too impressed with breakfast but meh 7/10

It's out of season so a lot of facilties closed but we wouldn't expect otherwise tbh for the bargain price. Rooms clean, bed comfy, staff friendly. Breakfast was OK (extra but cheap)

The lady desk (I guess she is the owner), very friendly and helpful, the check in process very smooth, the best part is this hotel have a swimming pool and attached with the restaurant, the restaurant have a delicious pizza, friendly staff and affordable price, I should come again, just a night at Malta is really nonsense, at least 3 days, I missed Malta already

I would stay there again for sure, the location was great and the cafe bar near the pool was incredible, with a sea view. Also the restaurant is fantastic.

Suprisingly better than expected this hotel is less than half the price of most and you get a lovely sea view

The location is good, you have the sea crossing the street. The attention of the girls is really nice, they are very attentive and helpful! The cleaning is good too

The stuff are really nice people, ready to serve you and guide you if you need information. The rooms are very spacious and really very clean. From the terrace of the hotel you can take photos of Valletta at night

The staff was warm and friendly. Our room overlooked the grand harbour and from our balcony we could see the boats pass by. We also had a clear view of the firing of the cannon Close to everything

We had two extra enclosed balcony areas, one for luggage and the other looking over the bay with a table and 2 chairs, were we could open the windows and sit with our drinks watching the ships/fireworks (it was a bank holiday) Never seen such fantastic fireworks

The setting of the hotel with many rooms looking out onto Grand Harbour make it an exceptional place to stay which is further enhanced by the rooftop patio where one can enjoy refreshments whilst soaking up the exceptional ambience

The breakfast is help yourself but a good choice of cereals,fresh fruit,yogurt, pastries, ham & cheeses, scrambled eggs, bacon,sausage beans, tomatoes & toast. Would recommend and was surprised it was only a two star

The staff and service are excellent and the hotel is maintained to a very high standard. Whilst close to the centre of Valletta be prepared for quite a few steps and slopes

Maybe because it used to be a hotel, there are much more than an ordinary hostel. The hostel is located by the sea and to various transportation facilities are connected on your demand

Acts of the Apostles Chapter 28) visiting various historical sites, you can get this place as a place to meet and to rest

There was an issue with the air con leaking from the ceiling when I first got there, but this was sorted and fine after that. The room was big and pretty nice and the balcony, with a view of Valletta was great

Could have been better. Uk plugs sucks so I had to buy an adapter to charge my phone. The 8bed room has no lockers only a wardrobe. The view is amazing and the bed is comfortable. For the price is recommended

This hotel was super clean, I originally booked a corner suite room for me and my mum , my husband joined our trip last minute and the receptionist accommodated a family suite which had 2 rooms with double beds, living area and kitchen on the day for extra cost but I was grateful they had offered a bigger room

Gym is a small room but useable

Sunshine, dry grass smell, river bridge and pomegranate won’t be forgotten forever. A small suggestion is to add more kinds of food for breakfast Amazing! The whole family love it so much!

As it was my 30th birthday they kindly upgraded us to a suite and surprised me with a chocolate dessert! The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were great with lots of variety

The Our hosts were very kind, they helped with everything. Bus service is not bad either, you can reach the nearest bus stop in 4 minutes. I can recommend it to anyone who wants a quieter rest

I have been here many times, the hosts are amazing people, the place is clean and beautiful and quiet and yet just above St. Julian and in the center of Malta. I really recommend it!

The place is big and so well maintained, it's safe and very quiet, the location is ideal, close to everything, and above all, the view is magnificent

Close to seaside bouleveard, restaurants, cafes and bus stops. Good grocery store on the other side of the street

Comfortable apartment, good service, well equipped and it was quite close to every thing, parking in the area wasn't too bad but the place has parking but remember to book it if you need it

Nice and quiet place. Grocery shop at the door steps. Very close to Sliema promenade. Perfect for families with kids.

Some minor annoyances were one or two sockets having no power and an awkward shower with no holder in the main bathroom (you have to hold the shower head with one hand)

These are very minor annoyances and not too bad given the value for money. Would recommend for groups/families of 3-4

We have to commend the staff attentiveness they arrived within 30 minutes after we accidentally locked ourselves out

The bathroom was gorgeous, only small downside was that the shower didn't quite drain away properly, but this was no real consequence

Everything is very good. Just shower water very small and nit very hot.  This hotel has in room kitchen which is very nice.

Welcoming hotel bar on the first floor (also part of Hammett's Monastik restaurant) with comfortable seats, a sunny balcony and a stunning view of Valetta's citadel

The room was okay, with some of the annoying quirks that come with designer hotels that put optics before practicality. Location quite nice, close to the ferry and bus stops, sea view towards Valetta

We had a wonderful time in this hotel! The staff was very friendly, our room was beautiful, spacious and very clean and the pool and sauna area was amazing as well. I will definitely come back on my next trip to Malta.

Land's End has a great view and a fantastic location. We were close to the ferry to Valletta, the other tour operators, and so many restaurants. Front desk was staffed 100% of the time. It was great, but not perfect

We were told to leave the sliding glass door open (December) for cooling. After a couple nights we complained of mosquito bites: then they turned on the A/C. It didn't swing open on its own, but it didn't lock, either

A bit noisy though because of traffic directly in front. Breakfast below average for the price point. Not sure if I’d stay here again

We absolutely LOVED our 4 night stay at Hotel Juliani. The hotel itself; our beautiful suite - with the amazing view; the bar and restaurants, and the service provided by the staff all deserve Five Stars

We opted for a Sea View room which has amazing views of Spinola and provides a great place to enjoy an evening drink on the balcony and watch over the bustling bay

We ate in Zest one day which was very nice , and by the pool which we found very good value and quality All the staff were attentive and friendly Pool - pool area was clean and always seemed to have sunbeds available, pool a little cold but you get used to it and nice to cool you off

Our room was on the 4th floor, very spacious and with a big balcony facing Spinola Bay. Bathroom was also spacious with a beautiful walk in shower. We had our towels changed twice in a week, that was nice

Buses are frequent and there is a stop just in front of the hotel. Breakfast was nice and there was plenty of choices. We really enjoyed our stay in Hotel Juliani and we highly recommend it

The view from the balcony was stunning. It is a busy area but once we closed the window we couldn't hear a thing and slept always very well. There is plenty of restaurants around

Well I love this apart hotel firstly it's reasonable, I love the location asxi always rent a car...Its away from crowd...The pool is amazing... Property is bit old but not bad..they really try to manage and maintain well

What a lovely hotel to spend a night in. The room for 4 was plenty big enough and the fridge was really welcome. Clean, tidy and uncluttered with a balcony and aircon. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful

Wonderful hotel! Excellent location, bus stop right next to the hotel. Mellieha Bay is 15 minutes away, and Sliema is 40 minutes by bus. The view from the window is stunning. The windows are perfectly clean

The hotel room is comfortable, and there's even a kitchen with a stove, microwave, and refrigerator. The breakfast is varied and delicious. All the staff are welcoming and friendly

Beach quite far but everything else was good. Nice and different types of rooms. Cocktails by the pool are quite nice

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel! The room had everything we could possibly need, and the jacuzzi on the balcony with a stunning sea view was just incredible

I loved the bath combined with the shower, and the fact that all toiletries were provided – even toothbrushes! Housekeeping was done daily, and the service was truly exceptional – they even called to check if we needed anything

The location is perfect – just 350 meters to the sea and the nearest beach, and also 350 meters to the bus stop, from where you can travel to any part of Malta

First, the staff were incredibly friendly, then the amenities were excellent (great breakfast, pool and jacuzzi, gym), and its location was superb—close to everything yet very peaceful. And all at a very reasonable price

It’s a great place to be, nice and quiet location, but you got everything around. It has a gym, spa and a small pool on the roof. The room was like a flat and beautiful. If you like English breakfast you will be happy

As second time visitors to Malta we wanted to stay in an authentic area but be close to the shops, restaurants and buses. Last but not least the staff were all very kind, knowledgeable and very helpful

The location of the hotel could not have been more perfect, 10 minutes from Sliema waterfront and also Baluta Bay, 21/22 bus just round the corner to Valetta

Our room faced the harbour with a very generous balcony Front of house staff so helpful in assisting our planning of day trips or recommendations for restaurants, all restaurants in room guide we visited and were 10 out of 10 with Ta Kris just edging the No1 spot Bar, and room bar good value with good range of local wines and beers plus soft drinks Air con and shower first class as was house keeping...

From start to finish we had a wonderful holiday at Palazzo Violetta. We booked direct and got an excellent deal and the suite with terrace was perfect

Only 10 minutes walk from both Sliema waterfront and Balluta Bay so nice and quiet, but has a mini market and bar within a couple of minutes walk too

We had a brilliant stay at Palazzo Violetta. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, our room was lovely and clean and the pool area was great too

if i come back to malta i will come back here, i stayed at the novotel and this one which is 3 minutes away from each other and honestly id say i preferred this one , its much smaller but i prefer it (probably because there’s a full length mirror here) , i don’t know what they use to clean but i love it because the fresh smell stays for days

Hotel situated just some 50 meters away from waterfront road. You can go with bus everywhere in Malta. Facilities in hotel are new or after renovation. Shower with rain head, water very warm

There's teapot in room, two cups, two glasses. Small swimming pool is on the roof. However you get free access to Aqualuna swimming pool, which is just across the street

compared to novotel the aesthetics aren’t as good but i still enjoyed my stay regardless sorry the picture of the room is dark and it’s messy lol

Overall, the hotel is quite good with a convenient location and friendly staff who made the stay pleasant. However, there were a few drawbacks

The suite with two bedrooms is very spacious. Everything was very clean. Well located. There is luggage storage. I liked it very much.

I would recommend staying here without reservation, and will be back!! Just know that it is on a stepped pedestrianised lane so you can’t be dropped off / picked up directly outside - not a prob for me - but you need to be able to drag or carry your luggage to the door

What a FABULOUS little hotel! Perfect location for exploring Valletta, and within 10min walk of the main tourist attractions, the fast ferry to Gozo, the boats to the 3 cities and the main bus station

The staff were very lovely friendly and helpful. There is stairs you must take to hotel but lift at the hotel. In saying that departing (upstairs) they staff helped me with luggage and to meet bolt
