We really loved our stay here! Everything was super clean, the bed linen was changed every day, and the room was always tidy. The location couldn’t be better – close to everything you need, yet peaceful and quiet. The staff were lovely and always ready to help. Would definitely come back!

There are many things that could be improved; the bed isn't comfortable, and for the price charged, I expected more. I wouldn't stay there again; for that price, there are better hotels in the area.

Good value for money! Decent breakfasts, clean and nice rooms. It was quiet inside even though there was construction just outside when we stayed there.

The rooms need updating: walls need to be repainted & mold remediation. We wish we had known there was only a tub, no stand-up shower; I would have brought bathtub-appropriate products. While the staff was very courteous and pleasant with us, I saw people waiting at the front desk for unrealistic lengths of time because there was nobody behind the counter to help them.

The walls are thin so it was hard to not he waken up or skeep early. The housekeeper wakes you up by 9am "to collect the towel". It is annoying at times since they don't even clean until 1pm. But location is good and room was big. They only leave 1 towel too.

The location is very convenient, the staff are friendly, and they offer coffee and hot cocoa. They come to ask us every day if we need cleaning, and they greet us when we come in and out. Highly recommended.

We were very happy to stay in this hotel. Although it was a 3 star hotel, but it felt like a solid 4 star. The rooms were always clean and fresh. The breakfasts were great. Good size rooms, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed. Apartment was very clean. As its on a complex can be a little noisy. Ours was top floor so got the sun on the balcony, lower ones probably not so much. Depending on position views may not be much although our rear balcony did have a nice view of St Julian's. Hotel is fine. Location is central but not easily walkable — fine if you have a car. Rooms are somewhat basic but very spacious. Lovely pool. But WIFI is terrible. Door lock was a pain to open — had to keep playing around with the card a few times. Gym is a small room but useable.

Hotel Flamingo is incredibly good, all praise for the staff, hygiene and kindness. The breakfast is correct, maybe add a little more fresh fruit and vegetables. Breakfast was great! But it didn't start until 7 am, and the soundproofing was a bit poor. The hairdryer adapter seemed to have been taken by other tourists, so we had to use our own. The air conditioning didn't feel cold at all, I don't know if it was locked in winter.

My brother’s family (2 adults and a 6-year-old) stayed at the Spinola Hotel from 30 January to 2 February 2026 and had a very pleasant stay. The receptionist staff were excellent, especially Jay Naranja who made sure everything was comfortable and hassle-free. The hotel is perfectly located in a central area, making it easy to get around. Nice place. Easy to find along Tower Road in Sliema. It has room for sharing, and there are numerous restaurants nearby. When midnight arrives, there may be no food available because all nearby restaurants will have closed. If you are arriving early in the morning, make sure you have your food.
