Where to stay with kids in Malta

The view is currently unbeatable; the balcony is spacious with a panoramic view of the vast Mediterranean Sea, and the bedding is very comfortable with soft pillows. The indoor swimming pool is especially cozy and warm.

Fabulous stay even if just a nite. Didn't make use of the hotel facilities bar the breakfast buffet. Busy as it was the hostess Marisa was in point

There's a very small indoor pool, and the outdoor pools are also much too small for the high number of rooms. The service staff is attentive and very friendly

Visually, the hotel makes a good impression – the lobby and common areas are very stylish, and without a doubt, the biggest asset is the fantastic rooftop jacuzzi with a beautiful view, perfect for relaxation

The indoor swimming pool is heavily overfilled with chlorine. The smell is very strong, and it makes your eyes burn, which makes it uncomfortable to use. The buffet breakfast is decent, but definitely not premium

The room facilities are complete, the hotel is clean and comfortable, and the front desk reception staff are warm and thoughtful

A regular to Double Trees staying there said it was the best he had stayed in. We only had the breakfast option but it was very varied and tasty and you could sit outside on the terrace, weather permitting

I thought St Paul’s bay would be quieter than St Julian’s, I was wrong. Walls and ceilings thin, could hear everyone! I Didn’t get to use the pool, was filled with small kids each time I went

Pleasant, spacious hotel with excellent food. The pools are a bit small, and it's quite a distance from Valletta.

Swimming Pool: The pool is a bit deep for kids (about 1. 4 m, I think), but the water is pleasantly warm

Breakfast: One of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. Kids’ Facilities: There is a kids’ room where my 4-year-old could play with a staff member, so I was able to enjoy some free time

The only thing is the cleaners can make less noise with the furniture when cleaning, we struggled to sleep because of the constant noise, rather than pulling the chairs hard it can be pulled easy to consider guest, the bathrooms are clean but can use an air freshener its has a funny smell

We only used the downstairs outside pool area during our stay and there were plenty of sunbeds and the bar close by

Breakfast was enjoyable, and although I didn’t use the pool or sauna facilities, everything seemed well maintained

Public buses stopped about 1 block away serving all parts of the island. Should I travel here again, I would be strongly tempted to make this area my base.  The public bus system is excellent and very reasonably priced

The food was great in the all inclusive buffets and the pools and games room were great. Housekeeping were very on top of everything aswell

I am a senior with somewhat limited mobility and I generally found the buses had sufficient seats available for limited mobility persons To sum up, this area and this accommodation would be on my itinerary when I return to Malta

Amazing hotel! Despite being a relatively large hotel, the atmosphere feels very personal, warm, and friendly thanks to the excellent and welcoming staff

We definitely plan to return! Also, a big compliment to Manisha and her team who cleaned our room daily, they did an excellent job and made our stay even more comfortable! The hotel is very clean throughout

Overall it was a nice hotel/resort. There is plenty of places to sunbath and the drinks are pretty good. The pool itself is small for the size of the hotel and was always a little crowded

The hotel is great! The food could be better, there was a lot of cumin in many dishes, but overall it was good and we enjoyed it. We had a wonderful time at Jungle Restaurant

We truly enjoyed exploring different cuisines and being able to sample a little bit of everything. The hotel also boasted multiple pools, ensuring that there was something for everyone

The rooms are clean and well maintained, with daily housekeeping. The food in the restaurant is excellent, offering a wide and varied selection

Breakfast was average and they don’t have a coffee machine but bring jugs of coffee to the table, bit strange. Alohonso was concierge was super friendly

Bed frame peeling 😩 If you go for a swim in the pool there are no showering facilities or changing rooms prepare to pay €15 to use them along with the small sauna or walk back to your room with wet swimming costume

And the food at the hotel restaurant was so good that, even though we usually enjoy eating out, we often chose to dine in. Overall, we warmly recommend this hotel

We stayed one week at the hotel Excelsior at the end of November, and I have no words to express my gratitude to everyone who made our stay such a wonderful experience! From the reception team, the young, tall doorman who always paid special attention to our 3-year old boy, the cleaning staff, to the restaurant crew — everyone was welcoming, helpful, and genuinely polite

Our suite was so spacious and comfortable that we sometimes preferred staying in and relaxing over going out

The outdoor pool is also heated, which is a very thoughtful touch! Highly recommend staying here

The room environment was decent, but I can't say the same for the service. I left a €5 tip on the second day after checking in before heading out, but the cleaning was very perfunctory

However, they didn't even replace the disposable slippers for three days! It's like they're forcing you to go to the front desk and give another tip to get anything

There's a kitchen fully equipped with pots, pans, an induction hob, an oven, and a dishwasher. The TV channels include Phoenix Satellite Television, but no HBO

The sofa in the living room of this room type converts into a bed; I had communicated this via email beforehand, and it was already made up upon check-in

They didn't even bother to leave extra bottles of water, and it's understandable if they don't replenish disposable toothbrushes and such

Breakfast choice was excellent! I can honestly say if I was heading up the team of people here I would be super proud. All were friendly made conversation and nothing was to much. Kudos to all the staff at Hilton Malta

Any time we contacted reception — for example to request additional hangers — the service was incredibly efficient, with items delivered to our room within minutes, exactly as promised

You can have an amazing hotel, room etc however the excperience can only be made by those in the business, keep doing what you are doing. I would return in a heartbeat! Thank you all

Our luggage was taken to the room promptly, and the room itself was ready on arrival, which we were very grateful for. We also had a lovely view overlooking the marina

The room ended up being sea view, corner suite with a whole living area and fully equipped kitchen and dining room as well! A little box of welcome chocolates with a card signed by the hotel manager was the absolute cherry on the cake

One warning I would give to people used to sleeping on a hard surface - ask to receive a harder mattress if available because the beds by default seem to be extremely soft and I mostly slept on the pull out couch instead

We had a most remarkable experience at Radisson Blu Golden Bay over the weekend. The service, the comfort, the luxury, it was absolutely incredible. From the moment we checked in, we were treated to a VIP experience

There was room service but we went to the restaurant instead. The hotel has an Italian, an Indian, a buffet style restaurant and a lounge bar. The pizzas we ordered at the Italian restaurant was really good

This suite has 4 double bedrooms all with ensuite facilities a large beautiful living area with a fully equipped kitchen and a sprawling large terrace with breathtaking views and a hot tub! This Suite surpassed all expectations and we are already planning our next stay there! Well done Radisson Blu and thank you for the wonderful memories

The bathroom had 2 sinks, which we loved, and a rainfall shower with strong hot water pressure. There were bathrobes, slippers and you can always ask for extras of anything

Breakfast wasnt really worth the money as there are some great places for breakfast within 2mins of the hotel where we preferred the food (although the coffee was good!)

The hotel has a perfect location, being just a few minutes away from the sea. All around there are many restaurants, shops, pharmacies, etc. The hotel area and the hotel itself are looking very safe

Any problems you have they sort it out I would definitely recommend anyone that likes music. I like to be in the centre is a very clean and yeah, very good hotel

Malta is an amazing spot for all types of people but the bora bora has the most laid back and energising staff and people, all walks of life and not a single person causes problems

The location is great, close to the beach and restaurants. The breakfast was tasty and with lots of variety. The only downside is the proximity to bars and nightclubs, which can get quite loud at night.

Was so busy, trying to see around the Island , we never had a chance to use anything within the hotel, such as spa, pool etc , this was our fault, we hadn't thought about, until we got home

We found the Preluna ,a great base,for catching transport to see around the Island, it was our first time, our stay was too brief, will plan it better for our next visit, to maximise our chance to appreciate what this wonderful country has to offer

There is a great outlook to the ocean, and walking along the esplanade is a great way to spend time, and then go for a swim or sun bake

Good value for money and a delicious breakfast. It was my boyfriend's birthday, and they even brought us a bottle of champagne to celebrate! The front desk staff were also very helpful.

We couldn't let this weekend pass and not praise from the bottom of our hearts, the backbone of this hotel - the front staff we had the pleasure to meet! As soon as we arrived on Friday we were warmly welcomed by Roberto, who gave our daughter a balloon and a packet of twistees

The only thing was the thermostat was broken so it was a bit warm at night but I just kept the window open and it was fine

Roberto spoke with us as if we had been long time friends and this is our first time (since we visit a lot of local hotels) we were made to feel so much comfortable and welcomed from the minute we stepped into the hotel

The hotel is conveniently located. Right around the corner from Bay Area’s and yes it’s right near the club scene. There is a little noise at night but nothing too bad. The cleanliness was excellent and truly spotless

There was a bus stop just across the road where you could get the hop on hop off buses. There was a public bus stop too and they are very cheap. The hotel was walking distance to restaurants, pubs and shops

She realised that my daughter had her birthday and with just eye contact with me, she coordinated a cake with candle and came singing Happy Birthday during breakfast

We stayed here for a week earlier this year and got a very good deal. For a family of four, half board and return flights/transfers cost £620. Overall the hotel looks and feels dated having been built in the late 60s

The pool area is quite small at this time of years as the main pool was under maintenance for the summer months. The gardens are beautiful and great for either strolling around or Sun bathing

A great selection of meals each night from Sunday roast to cheese boards. Breakfast was a typical European version of a cooked breakfast but also had cereals, fruit and toast as most are accustomed to at an all-inclusive

Pool and sauna areas are very poor, very small and not really mantained good. When I tried to use sauna the floor was flooded from shower and there is nowhere you can sit/lie down/put your belongings
