Had a wonderful 10 day stay at Chantauvent. Behind the hotel is Blue Bay beach, one of the best beaches in Mauritius. Great opportunity to snorkel and see marine life

Can't go wrong with picking this place This place is amazing and Blue Bay the best place on the island. The staff was always ready to help and give you great service

Some decent restaurants nearby and airport is only 10 mins away. Staff were helpful and friendly and the room was in good condition

It's a beautiful and familiar guesthouse in a fantastic sea area

Basic and property could do with a little TLC but it was clean and comfortable. Very comfortable bed with good quality sheets. A little disappointed with the continental breakfast selections

The place is nice and spacious. They have everything you need a part from a table cloth for outside is needed so when you eat outside you can put that. Few more kitchen drying towels are needed

The location is very good with a mini mart market with all essentials at a walking distance of 3 minutes! The concierge handled by Mr. Subak makes staying here even worthy. He is such a good man, such a kind man

Don't forget to bring ALL ESSENTIALS with you, your toothbrush, toothpaste, soaps, shampoos as they will not provide with any of it. It is a SELF-CONTAINED apartment

He will take care of Everything you need. The place also has a barbeque as well in the balcony if you wanna enjoy that

You do need a car to get around, but there are options within walking distance too (just not many). The staff is excellent…and very happy to help, give advice, and sort out any issues that may come up

Stayed here for 3 nights on my honeymoon trip and was overawed by how good it is

Place was fine.central. friendly. Breakfasts were excellent. Good for a one nighters to catch a ferry, cruise onto airport! Much cheaper than over priced resort hotels. Very organised for taxis for everywhere.

Strategic location near to downtown.

I spent 3 weeks of vacation at the hotel. I liked the room, the setting and the location of the hotel. The team is very professional, efficient and very kind. I thank them for their help during these 3 weeks towards me

I loved the homeliness of the place, the owner Husna allowed me to stay till my taxi arrived at 4pm, general checkout is 11am, that was nice of her and I appreciated that a lot. She was nice to talk to as well

The bus to blue bay is just 30 MRU. The hostess is a very good person. They provide excellent services. Their guest house has everything that we need. The amenities are well thought with respect to need of the guests

The host here is very nice, she allowed me to cancel my 3 days reservation for free. But I still stay here for one night's, her family help me to cook in their kitchen!

The room was quite clean, and the service was good. It's conveniently located near a supermarket, market, bus stop, and beach, all just to the left of the door

Very good! The room is clean and tidy, the owner is very friendly and enthusiastic! The airport transfer price is reasonable, thumbs up.

Airport bus number 10 costs 30 rupees, Port Louis bus number 198 is available, and a taxi to the airport costs 700 rupees

We used the bicycles provided at the hotel and it was a perfect way to explore Grand Baie. The food were awesome with portion and quality up to the standard

Several evenings a week they have singers in the restaurant but it’s not intrusive. The hotel is on a lagoon, the pool is small but works well for this friendly boutique hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay

We had understood that we’d booked a sea view but apparently it was our error and we were in the building directly behind (steps away but be careful when crossing the road as the bus whizzes past and it’s a blind corner)

The location is perfect - close enough to the main part of town that you can easily reach everything by taxi or bicycle (provided free by the hotel), but far enough away to feel quiet and relaxing

I’ve had a lot of sushi over the years this has been by far the best, mounts watering and fresh. Fifth ⭐️ over all winer and definitely the restaurant to eat at if your ever in the north of Mauritius

On reflection I should have perhaps tried the spa and some of the activities on offer but after quite a stressful start to our trip this was the perfect location to rest and relax

You will get nice beach bag and special towels. Thanks a lot for a great time

Denis is a big fun of cuisine, so each evening he gathers those who wish around the common table for the wonderful dinner. During this dinner people from different countries are able to communicate

very calm and chilled place to stay Such lovely hosts. It was like talking to morgon freeman, we could have listened to his calm natured stories all day. so very helpful for anything and everything.

What a really great place to stay. Delicious food, wonderful personalised friendly service and spotless comfortable room with all the small touches one could wish for. Also very conveniently placed

When you visit your friends, you will never tell them that something is not as you expected, so we cannot mention anything that didn't match - this is very small and unimportant things

The rooms are well decorated and they have a boat that you can rent (it is not expensive), kayaks, a nice pool ect. for only 50 bucks?? Amazing value for money!! I would a 100% recommend this place

Absolutely beautiful place! Just like the name says,it's a pure chill out place! This is a must stay if you are visiting Mahebourg area or want somewhere close to the airport. Beautiful views from the Seaview Rooms

This is one of the best places to stay when u r on a vacation in Mauritius. It's right on the coast. You will just fall asleep to the sounds of the wave. It's so peaceful here.

Wonderful place in the lovely fisher village. The little cottage by the water is wonderful and very comfortable. The staff and owners are super friendly and helpful

Amazing stay!!! 🤩 Saying this only because of the beauty this hotel holds. However, being an Indian, we are used to room service, there was no such facility provided at this hotel

Additionally customer service is poor guests are required to fetch their own snacks and drinks which can be inconvenient for some guests. Overall the stay is enjoyable

Even the landline provided was not working. So do consider this before booking

We stayed at the Bubble Lodge Bois Cheri for a night to celebrate my birthday! It was an amazing experience, truly an experience of a lifetime!! Sleeping in nature, under the stars was so unique! The staff were very hospitable, even the food was so delicious…they had unique tea based dishes that tasted amazing

I loved the idea of visitors book, where you can read all about the thoughts and experiences of people who stayed here before, and even get the chance to write about your own experience! The food and the service were generally good, but nothing particularly exceptional

We stayed here for one night and it was a very nice and unique experience. We were assigned to the Ginger bubble, which is the farthest away from reception, but also the most private

Amazing experience! Nature around - wow, excellent breakfast and dinner. But not for light sleepers (-: very noisy at night from the animals around + the bubble was a bit outdated.

Beware that it can get quite noisy inside the bubble when it rains. It rained at night when we stayed so we couldn't get good sleep, but I guess that's part of the experience 😁

In the morning, birdsong woke me up, and I awoke in the embrace of nature. For the first time in my life, I looked directly into the eyes of a shy fawn, and my heart raced

The other 2 rooms and beds were a little small but manageable. The ACs worked, and the blackout curtains are great. The cleaner came twice a week so the place was kept clean, and bedsheets and towels were changed

This was our second stay at Athena Villa, and it was just as lovely as the first time. My husband and I had a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The privacy was excellent, especially appreciated by someone who wears the veil

we booked a boat tour alongside the east coast to Il aux Cerfs including a barbecue and snorkeling and it was the best tour we did during our holidays - so if you stay at Villa Sankhara, you have to book this excursion with skipper James 🚤 After all, we also want to say thank you to the whole team, since they were so nice and did everything to make our stay even more special 🙏🏼 So if you want to visit...

Tree Lodge provides a special experience - it is located in a very nice garden with a lot of flowers next to a swimming pool. Owners have been very kind and immediately responded to every wish we had

My boyfriend and I spent a few days here and we fell in love! We had the room on the tree and it was amazing! The breakfast was delicious and everyday fresh, with fruits, Crepes, Tea and coffee

A little off the beaten track but therefore a calm and relaxing B&B. There is one treehouse if you are up for the adventure the rest are regular rooms as part of the main house
