We booked sea view room and it was worth it. Their breakfast is also good. They do ask if you are vegetarian for breakfast options

Very good location, with great breakfasts, eat and drink coffee as much as you like.

It was like a competition's to see who had loudest sound systems

Only issue was some guests reserving sunbeds and not using them for some hours, thus the 4 rather than 5 stars

My stay at Veranda Grand Baie Hotel & Spa was everything I hoped for in a Mauritian escape relaxed, sun-soaked, and effortlessly charming

We also enjoy the hotel sea activities like the glass bottom and snorkeling and also the taxi pirogue service. The evening atmosphere was relaxing, we enjoy the band and different show

Great 3 star hotel fantastic location. Flicenflac so much quieter than if you go further north to troux aux biches. only ate breakfast here but was a substantial buffet. plenty of restaurants within a 20

Another highlight: you get sunbeds with umbrellas by the pool, and you’re also allowed to use the beach loungers from the neighboring hotel

We recently stayed at Gold Beach and were extremely satisfied with our experience. It’s a smaller hotel with a lovely pool located right by the beach

Housekeeping, especially Vijayen, was very attentive — the room was always clean, and all our requests were taken care of promptly. We had half board (breakfast and dinner), and the food was consistently delicious

You can enjoy the sunset directly from the terrace, which became one of our favorite moments of the day. Our room was wonderful, with a balcony where we spent many relaxing evenings

Generous and super helpful service! Room was spacious and very clean. With bus and taxis easy to move. Walking distance to closest beaches and Diving World diving center.

The pool was divine and in such a lovely setting, being off the main road also means it is quiet

The big supermarket is in about 6k away - a short and cheap bus journey or a quick drive if you have your own car. The kitchen was full of useful bits for self catering which was really helpful

Richard was a fabulous host, who was always available to chat, he sorted transfers and tours for us and was just what we needed for our first time on the island

We stayed in the 4 bed property which was as pictured, kept clean by the daily maid service in good working order. Any issues are swiftly dealt with and sorted

It is the perfect base to explore, with beautiful beaches within walking distance and a nearby corner shop as well as a few spots to eat

Old Years eve on Troux aux Biches was the best old years eve to date. Fantastic! Manisha, the administrator, was brilliant. Simply everything was perfect. Sutton, the driver, was so kind and very professional

A very nice villa located south of Port Louis. Property was very nice, veranda overlooking pool and sea was super relaxing and staff was excellent!

Lovely grounds around the pool and a comfortable room. Lights left on over night meant an eye mask was needed to sleep well as curtains did not block out light. Staff friendly Food OK but a bit disorganised

After we returned home, we realized we had accidentally left some jewellery behind in our room. The team at Villa Anakao kindly kept it safe for us and helped us arrange a courier to have it returned

Sanjay and his crew went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, relaxed, and enjoying every moment. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and you can tell they truly care about their guests’ experience

On one side of the property, there is a construction site where work starts loudly at 7:00 AM. On the other side, a neighboring hotel plays loud music from midday until late in the evening

For everyone else who isn't bothered by background noise, this hotel offers excellent value for the money. I personally would come back again:)

After we told the young white guy, who working that evening (I think he was French), that it was communicated to us that laundry was a 24-hour turnaround service and that we would not have time to pack the next morning, he rudely told us that there was no way to get the clothes sooner and that it was "impossible

We were again told that cash was required for hotel and restaurant services AND there was no ATM within walking distance, which meant we had 10 minutes to pack WET clothes, arrange transportation to and from an ATM, which was about a 10 minute drive away in Grand Baie, pay our bill (and try to eat breakfast, which was, again, starting service late)

There are also a few nice restaurants, a store and a pharmacy within 5-10 minutes walking distance from the hotel. The breakfast hours are 8am to 11am, but mostly didn't start until generally around 8:30am

We were charmed by this hotel! Very nice and gives a great quite feeling of rest. Perfectly clean and well-maintained rooms and territory. Good and frequently changed cotton bed linens. Very nice owners and good service

Location - you have to cross a busy road twice to reach the beach. Nice beach which is not on the map, but when it's hot - sometimes feels lazy to walk across asphalt. One must remember this is not the first line

Expect to hear some barking dogs during the night (bring ear plugs and white noise). Amenities included mini-fridge, electric kettle and laptop-size safe. Sufficient number of well located power sockets

The comfort room is very spacious and has everything that is needed. Had a great welcome by the host and was very friendly during my stay. Dinner at the restaurant is limited, but it was just awesome

The hotel arranges airport transfers for approx USD 48 each way (it's a 70-km drive). The staff is very responsive to inquiries on Whatsapp. Overall, it's a good place to stay and a good value

We stayed at Azur Paradise for two nights with my best friend. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with a welcome drink and a cold towel at the reception, which was a nice touch considering the warm weather

The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the staff is extremely friendly. Both the small pool near the reception on the ground floor and the SkyBar restaurant on the rooftop are lovely places to relax

Our room on the 3rd floor had a stunning view of the bay, which we really appreciated. For smokers, there are designated areas at the SkyBar on the rooftop and near the pool at street level

Having direct access from your room to the sand is incredibly convenient and adds an extra level of comfort to the whole experience

My son and daughter LOVED the private pool and were in it most of the time. We also loved eating in the adjoining restaurant Seasons where service and food was excellent

Belle Mare is just up the road from our home in Trou D'eau Douce but it's notably cooler at the villas - the aircon in the bedrooms certainly helped! We were given 2 villas opposite each other with my parents and sister in 1 and my husband and kids in another

The people were so helpful and nice and breakfast (brought to the villa every day) was delicious and welcome. It was a sweltering 30 degrees there so we couldn't have been more comfortable

Those complaining about the villas need to look at the price - I thought you definitely get more than what you pay for. We even extended by 1 night because we loved it so much

Great outside areas, very tropical, with 3 pools, good food (only niggles was food was lacking flavour & variety, not very hot, we did have upset tummy for few days?) I have food intolerances which Food/beverage manager Ritish did his very best to accommodate, but we did have to eat out on a few occasions to change things up and satify my pasta craving

The furnishings are very simple but functional. Every day they came to clean and change the towels. Obviously we are on a tropical island so it is possible to find some geckos on the walls, but they did not bother us

The villa has air conditioning but unfortunately in our particular villa, there was a gap between the door frame that opened to the decking by the pool from the bedroom on one side and this allowed lizards to get in despite keeping all other doors closed
