Second time staying that Trou au Biches and it is still a great and beautiful faculty. But the staff could be friendlier. We noticed many times that the staff will take forever to get back to us. And I hated how we were always neglected compared to other tables. When you are a Black family, it makes you wonder if your treatment is because of your color and that is extremely unpleasant to experience...

The service attitude was extremely poor. They were particularly unfriendly to Chinese people. The room was miscalculated during checkout. The room pickup for 5am was late by half an hour. The Chinese waiter said he was not Chinese and gave me a bad look. When I checked in, I had to wait until 8am to upgrade my room type. The wait time was 10am instead of 6am.

The scenery and facilities are stunning, and there are many unique birds. The children were very happy and played with the birds every day. The room was given a small gift every day, which was very thoughtful. The restaurant buffet was also delicious. Room was clean and the front desk staff was nice and welcoming and also responsive to small requests we had like topping up the coffee and sugar sachets etc. We did not try the food. Location is very convenient for 1st day or last day of stay in Mauritius as it is just 1 km from the airport.

The environment is absolutely beautiful, with blue skies and white clouds, tall palm trees, a turquoise swimming pool, and the option to leisurely stroll along the beach and watch the waves crash against the shore. It's a perfect tourist and vacation destination.

The room was very spacious and comfortable.

We only had two nights but enjoyed our stay. We especially loved the big double bath and massive bed and good quality linens. They organised a lovely small birthday cake which was much appreciated. We managed to get a free glass bottom boat trip there which we enjoyed. We ate in The Mercado and Edgewater and both were very good.

It's a hotel where you can feel comfortable. The room is large and the bed is wide and cozy. The buffet dinner is delicious, with many Indian curries. The beach is lovely and there are plenty of sun loungers. Some things in the hotel are a bit outdated.

Check-in and check-out take too much time!

A pleasant stay, good for 3 nights. The reception was excellent. We booked the junior suite overlooking the beach, so it was perfect! One small drawback was the restaurant, which was quite noisy in the morning (because it was very large and therefore very busy).

The service and hygiene were very good.

Everything was perfect very clean. Housekeeping was very good and GP and team at the restaurant was excellent also. Food was very good and everybody was very friendly.

Friendly staffs , ready to assist , breakfast menu should be alternated daily and dinner buffet at 2,500 Mauritius currency per each adult was quite high.

Overall it was very good, and we were allowed to check in early!

I gave it four stars because it has a free child care center called The Nest. The hotel is very new, very close to the airport but far from the market. It usually takes more than 20 minutes to go out to eat. The beach is great, as is the pool. The gym also has yoga and tai chi classes. Breakfast is not very to our Asian taste~
