Housekeeping maintains the property very well. The service is top-notch and the staff is courteous, warm, and professional throughout the stay

The room was very spacious and comfortable.

Overall, it was a memorable honeymoon stay in a beautiful and peaceful setting, with excellent service and great facilities, though there are a few areas where operational improvements would enhance the overall guest experience

However, I feel the hotel should collaborate with service providers who can arrange backup boats or suitable replacements in case of technical failures, especially when such activities are booked well in advance

While this may be expected in a tropical setting, it can still be slightly uncomfortable. Additionally, the Indian food options at breakfast and dinner sometimes felt mismatched

For example, Chhole Rice was served at breakfast and Chhole Puri at dinner. Papad was available at breakfast, but at dinner no drinks — not even water — were complimentary

The food was outstanding with a fantastic variety and top quality in every restaurant. Every meal felt special and beautifully presented. The staff were always there for us with warm smiles and genuine hospitality

We had such a wonderful stay at LUX* Grand Baie. From the moment we arrived, every single staff member we met was incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming. Their genuine hospitality made our stay truly special

Grand Baie is a great spot for those who love a lively holiday! LUX* Grand Baie has plenty of activities, and three amazing pools to lounge by, not to mention the most picturesque white sand beach

They made us feel welcome and truly looked after throughout our stay. The hotel was spotless at all times. Every area was kept perfectly clean which made the whole experience even more comfortable and relaxing

Breakfast choice was varied, with the omlettes being a highlight. The hotel has a washing-machine which was available for use by guests for free. Guests were of mixed ages, with some families and young children staying

Amazing stay!!! 🤩 Saying this only because of the beauty this hotel holds. However, being an Indian, we are used to room service, there was no such facility provided at this hotel

Additionally customer service is poor guests are required to fetch their own snacks and drinks which can be inconvenient for some guests. Overall the stay is enjoyable

This is the best budget resort in Mauritius. In the price they charge, you will get a very good ambience, rooms, food. specially the breakfast here will be very good. The staff is very kind and cooperative

Even the landline provided was not working. So do consider this before booking

We deeply appreciated the gesture here. But still, considering the amount of food that typically goes to waste in large resorts, offering early-arriving guests buffet access would be such a thoughtful touch

Plenty of sun loungers & beach towels provided. Several excursions cam be booked but we hired a car & went exploring, also took a helicopter tour 🚁 ♥️We will deffinately be back for a return visit

The enormous resort where you can find everything to keep you busy whatever you like to do. My favourite place was a little beach ( there are 3 or 4!) where I could snorkel in the very healthy coral reef

We are strict vegans & the chefs constantly checked we were ok, the food was superb! Plenty to do; aqua aerobics, learn to water ski, snorkelling, glass bottom boat, kayaks, paddleboards & pedaloes!! We spent a perfect relaxing afternoon having sps treatments too

Could do with some more seating in the bar area for the entertainment n the evening, some of the rooms could do with a refresh but we really enjoyed our visit again and would come back

Upon their return, they were always attentive and offered a complimentary late checkout on the last day, allowing the guest to rest until their transfer to the airport

We had a lovely week at this beautiful resort. The beach was great and sea was warm with lots of different fish. The room was clean and everything worked

For all-inclusive guests, the bar offers an excellent selection of drinks, which was great to see. The staff across the resort were extremely friendly and welcoming, which really adds to the overall experience

A perfect getaway! The beach is breathtaking and the staff are incredibly polite and friendly. It's very kid-friendly with a great 'game village' that kept the little ones busy

The lady serving the ice cream had a very poor attitude. She was unwelcoming, did not smile, and looked like she really did not want to be there. It unfortunately made the experience there quite unpleasant

The beach is absolutely beautiful, with clear water and a really relaxed atmosphere, and the pool area is just as impressive — plenty of space, great vibe, and perfect for unwinding

What we loved most was how family-friendly the entire resort is. The kids had a great time at the pool and RUILand, and we could truly relax knowing they were enjoying themselves in a safe and fun environment

Fantastic facilities, the staff at the pool, especially the towel area were at times a little blunt. Steakhouse is a highlight in the all inclusive package.

The RIU Turquoise was genuinely one of the best stays I’ve had. The rooms were amazing — spacious, modern, and always spotless. You could tell a lot of care goes into keeping everything at a really high standard

The spa was also a highlight, such a nice place to properly switch off and relax. Food-wise, it really exceeded expectations. Having multiple restaurants gave loads of choice, and everything was consistently good

The steakhouse in particular stood out — easily one of the best meals of the trip. What really made the stay though was the staff. Everyone, from reception to the restaurant teams, was so polite, friendly, and welcoming

Even when it was busy, they had everything under control. Their friendliness, professionalism, and dedication were remarkable. On their days off, the difference was noticeable – which says a lot about their performance

One unforgettable highlight was a private dinner on the tee box at La Réserve Golf Course. The chefs and the service team, especially Danish and Michael, were world-class and made the evening truly special

We mainly came for golf, and both courses are outstanding. A big compliment also to the Caddymaster at Le Château (name sounded like “Smosh”), who did a fantastic job ensuring a smooth and enjoyable round

At Ginja, sushi quality was excellent, though service varied slightly. After sharing feedback with Melvin, the restaurant manager invited us for lunch, which was outstanding and very much appreciated

His dedication and availability – even beyond working hours – were truly outstanding. At Palmier we met Spicy, who was always friendly, attentive, and seemed to appear exactly where we were

She genuinely made our stay even more enjoyable. The festive Alive program was diverse and beautifully organized, with special themed evenings and a wonderful atmosphere across the resort

I’m currently staying at this hotel. The hotel is gorgeous and the beach and the pool are great. The food is pretty good, although the breakfast could use a bit of more variety. Also, the kids club staff are the best

Another point worth mentioning is that there are not enough umbrellas in the pool. Given the hotel is family oriented, that’s a big miss. Finally, the beach sunbeds need an upgrade

The hotel is nestled in a palm grove, very beautiful! But! There's construction going on nearby, and the pool area is nearby. Our room was right next to the construction, making it uncomfortable and very noisy

but for an adults only hotel, the children policy should be enforced stricter. Kids are great and make our lives complete, but in this case, we want to get away for a little break

And if it’s too much, you can always cave yourself around pool area. And the region itself is beautiful

The only downside is - it’s a bit far from everything, but the island is pretty small, so it’s a good excuse to go on some excursions :-) also, excellent nurse and doctor service on site as well as security on the beach

You will never be able to please everyone, so look after the 96% instead on the 4% not appreciating the efforts. Thanks so much for the great relaxing 7 days. Cheers and see you all again in good health soon

The location is bit windy, but if you’re okay with that or you love watersports, you’ll be grand - the island is pretty humid so wind can give you some relief as well

Food in this quantity and quality for 1000pax plus is a challenge which the executive head chef and his team are mastering very well

The hotel was also very accommodating and responsive whenever we needed assistance, whether with bed arrangements or minor room matters, all of which were handled promptly

The room facilities are a bit old overall, but the surroundings are great. There's a big swimming pool and you can even go clamming by the sea.

The room was perfect and on the beach so waking up hearing the sound of the waves was so relaxing! The sunset every evening was incredible! We visited the Westin TB located on the north of the island in February 2026 and I can’t tell you how much we enjoyed our stay! The food at Beach Grill, Kangan, Mystique and Fusion was delightful! The service was also impeccable and we were looked after the minute we arrived, and made to feel so special

What a wonderful experience to come to this hotel, the service from the managers to the waiters is exceptional, 5 star ,nothing is to much trouble we are here now and don't want to leave, food in the Indian restaurant last night was magnificent thanks to the attention of the manager

The restaurant staff are excellent too. Artee in mystique restaurant is such a lovely person. She makes you feel like one of the family and cares for you whilst dining in mystique to make sure you enjoy your meal

The room was spacious enough, and the garden view was lovely. They have a tennis court and even offer rackets for rent, with new models of Padel and Pickleball rackets available

The pool is nice for families, though serious swimmers might find it too short. On the downside, the balcony was quite dusty and dirty, which let down the room experience

We liked the restaurants, both Chinese and on the beach; everything was delicious! We rented a car, so it's important to understand that there's not much to see in the area around this hotel, and overall, there's not much to see

From the celebrations team who made our anniversary and our daughter’s birthday so special, to the ever smiling restaurant staff who seemed to anticipate what we needed before we even asked

One crew member of the animation team even asked us where we were from and after replying that we are from Germany, she encountered us with an “eww german”, which wasn’t pleasant to hear at all

We recently enjoyed a wonderful family holiday at Crystals Beach Resorts in Belle Mare. From the moment we arrived, the staff impressed us with their professionalism, confidence and genuine warmth

Henceforth we really felt like second class guest, since the animation team didn’t even try to include English speaking guests into their program

Definitely wouldn’t come to this hotel again for the animation that’s for sure. The beach is very easily accessible and absolutely clean

The animation was absolutely horrendous, since it was mostly oriented towards the french speaking guests
