The hotel was amazing. The staff (12 to 18 Jan 2026) was exceptional, all of them. Some of the names was Faizal wow he made us feel like its our home :) Suren, Kinesh, Avinesh, Tanya they were so friendly keep on checking up on us and had such sweet conversations making our stay so great. There are no slippers, toothpaste or toothbrushes that a hotel should have, and it is still far away from Port Louis... It is misleading to say that it is only 200 meters from the city center (it turns out to be the center of Xiaozhen), which is really wrong!

We go here to have drinks as it is one of the best locations on the island with a sublime view. I’ve never stayed in the rooms hence I can not attest to them, but getting a drink at the bar during sunset is definitely recommended

We didn’t stay at Mystik as we were in an apartment close by, but we had dinner there 2 nights in a row. I was a little wary as some reviews said the service was slow, but we had a great experience, nice staff, not long to wait and excellent food.
