To the lifeguard who found my bracelet at the bottom of the pool, and the housekeeping and maintenance teams who responded almost instantly and always with a desire to make everything perfect

The view is stunning and huge pool,cleanliness and the breakfasts venue was really great,good services and generous and kind stuff,

The pool is nice for families, though serious swimmers might find it too short. On the downside, the balcony was quite dusty and dirty, which let down the room experience

We liked the restaurants, both Chinese and on the beach; everything was delicious! We rented a car, so it's important to understand that there's not much to see in the area around this hotel, and overall, there's not much to see

From the celebrations team who made our anniversary and our daughter’s birthday so special, to the ever smiling restaurant staff who seemed to anticipate what we needed before we even asked

The lounge chairs were very comfortable! No rocks or coral at the entrance to the water. Several types of drinking water with different flavors were freely available on the beach

The staff are incredibly attentive, which is really pleasant. I spent a week in a room with a private pool, and it was absolutely fantastic

The hotel runs a boat every 20mins to these islands, great service! You can walk from Illot Mangenie to ile aus Cerfs and get the boat back, highly recommend!

The hotel itself is beautiful, and we truly felt at home — the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. We had half board, and the dinner buffet was consistently excellent every evening

Both breakfast and dinner were served buffet-style and exceeded our expectations. There was a wide variety of options to choose from, and everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and delicious

That said, based on the overall atmosphere, the beautiful surroundings, and the high level of service, we believe the rooms at Sands Suites are equally lovely

The resort grounds are absolutely stunning, surrounded by lush greenery and a very peaceful atmosphere. The staff were extremely polite, warm, and attentive, always ready to help with a smile

I also booked for 1-on-1 meditation, breathwork and yoga therapy with him and he did the best massage I've ever had! Don't hesitate to go to one of his yoga classes or book him in if you can

Since our booking included half board, we returned to Sands Suites for both breakfast and dinner, so we cannot comment on the rooms at Sands itself

We used the bicycles provided at the hotel and it was a perfect way to explore Grand Baie. The food were awesome with portion and quality up to the standard

Several evenings a week they have singers in the restaurant but it’s not intrusive. The hotel is on a lagoon, the pool is small but works well for this friendly boutique hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay

We had understood that we’d booked a sea view but apparently it was our error and we were in the building directly behind (steps away but be careful when crossing the road as the bus whizzes past and it’s a blind corner)

The location is perfect - close enough to the main part of town that you can easily reach everything by taxi or bicycle (provided free by the hotel), but far enough away to feel quiet and relaxing

I’ve had a lot of sushi over the years this has been by far the best, mounts watering and fresh. Fifth ⭐️ over all winer and definitely the restaurant to eat at if your ever in the north of Mauritius

On reflection I should have perhaps tried the spa and some of the activities on offer but after quite a stressful start to our trip this was the perfect location to rest and relax

The house is even nicer than on the pictures, very clean, and very well furbished, the kids just loved the pool

The retreat provided us with a valuable opportunity to spend quality time together and motivate our staff for next year. We received a warm welcome from the General Manager, which set a positive tone for our stay

Fantastic facilities, the staff at the pool, especially the towel area were at times a little blunt. Steakhouse is a highlight in the all inclusive package.

The beach is absolutely beautiful, with clear water and a really relaxed atmosphere, and the pool area is just as impressive — plenty of space, great vibe, and perfect for unwinding

I’m currently staying at this hotel. The hotel is gorgeous and the beach and the pool are great. The food is pretty good, although the breakfast could use a bit of more variety. Also, the kids club staff are the best

In terms of improvement areas, the pool service is not great. We normally have to wait for a long time to be served and the waiters are not very friendly

Another point worth mentioning is that there are not enough umbrellas in the pool. Given the hotel is family oriented, that’s a big miss. Finally, the beach sunbeds need an upgrade

The variety of restaurants and activities meant there was always something to enjoy, whether it was relaxing by the pool, trying out the water sports, or enjoying a delicious meal by the sea

The staff at Sugar Beach were absolutely outstanding. A special mention goes to Fazil and Luca, the wonderful Beach Boys who provided exceptional personal service at the pool

The only downside is - it’s a bit far from everything, but the island is pretty small, so it’s a good excuse to go on some excursions :-) also, excellent nurse and doctor service on site as well as security on the beach

You will never be able to please everyone, so look after the 96% instead on the 4% not appreciating the efforts. Thanks so much for the great relaxing 7 days. Cheers and see you all again in good health soon

And if it’s too much, you can always cave yourself around pool area. And the region itself is beautiful

but for an adults only hotel, the children policy should be enforced stricter. Kids are great and make our lives complete, but in this case, we want to get away for a little break

The location is bit windy, but if you’re okay with that or you love watersports, you’ll be grand - the island is pretty humid so wind can give you some relief as well

Food in this quantity and quality for 1000pax plus is a challenge which the executive head chef and his team are mastering very well

The swimming pool is heated and free water and ice packs are really considerate. The service staff are very nice. It is a hotel worth staying in

I would recommend the hotel to anyone travelling to Mauritius, we enjoyed small catamaran sailing, snorkeling with Nemo fish and huge turtles! The pools are very clean, the rooms are very luxurious and are decorated with beautiful authentic furniture

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and clearly well taken care of. One of the highlights of the stay was definitely the food — it was super delicious with a very large variety available at the restaurant

The room facilities are a bit old overall, but the surroundings are great. There's a big swimming pool and you can even go clamming by the sea.

The room was perfect and on the beach so waking up hearing the sound of the waves was so relaxing! The sunset every evening was incredible! We visited the Westin TB located on the north of the island in February 2026 and I can’t tell you how much we enjoyed our stay! The food at Beach Grill, Kangan, Mystique and Fusion was delightful! The service was also impeccable and we were looked after the minute we arrived, and made to feel so special

What a wonderful experience to come to this hotel, the service from the managers to the waiters is exceptional, 5 star ,nothing is to much trouble we are here now and don't want to leave, food in the Indian restaurant last night was magnificent thanks to the attention of the manager

The restaurant staff are excellent too. Artee in mystique restaurant is such a lovely person. She makes you feel like one of the family and cares for you whilst dining in mystique to make sure you enjoy your meal

The room was spacious enough, and the garden view was lovely. They have a tennis court and even offer rackets for rent, with new models of Padel and Pickleball rackets available
