3 star hotels in Cancun

The hotel might have been undergoing renovations when I booked, but the room I stayed in was clean, tidy, and spacious. The balcony got plenty of sun in the afternoon, and the lobby lounge area was quiet. The pool was clean and the facilities were good. I'd definitely stay here again.

Very good hotel, well located, great breakfast, hot shower, good shower, has a swimming pool and a gym, everything very clean and pleasant, great value for money.

Perfect location for walking to the city center. For public beaches, you need to take a bus (R1/R2) or an Uber. The staff were very kind. Buffet breakfast. The room was spacious. The only drawback was the high humidity, which unfortunately made us feel cold during the night. Cleanliness was so-so.

The bathroom window wouldn't close, making it noisy throughout the night. The showerhead was faulty, and the hot water pressure was poor. The furniture probably needs some repairs as well.

It was okay, nothing special but it got the job done.

The room felt dated, and the water boiler was quite noisy, especially at night. The doors also have poor sound insulation, so footsteps and conversations from the corridor are clearly audible.

Big and clean pool; decent food; good location

Thank you for our wonderful 4 night stay. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool and great breakfast. The only negative side is no kettle in the room and they charged us for 2 cups of boiling water of 80 pesos. It’s a bit out of the way from the main town and attractions but that’s why we booked here. Thanks again

The only bad thing was that we spilled a drink in the room and there was no one to help us clean it up. We even had to go down to reception to get rags to clean it up.

Is definitely a 2 . Nothing to get excited over. It is like you think it could be for 2.5 hotel. All inclusive means cheap food, cheap food.

Although it is called an all-inclusive hotel, the dining time is not synchronized with the hotel check-in and check-out time. The buffet lunch I booked could not be eaten at all. I asked to check out at 12:00 on the 28th, and the lunch did not start until 1:30 pm. The hotel ignored it. The hotel is very convenient. Close to the airport and Walking distance to the outlet mall. Service is ok. Receptionist don't speak English well. Great stay if you need to be at the airport the next morning! The hotel room was nice, very clean, and had room service. Free airport shuttle runs every 30 or 45 minutes, even in the middle of the night. Make sure you reserve it for early rather than late because sometimes it is delayed.

Our room was very comfortable. You have everything you'll need during your stay. The kitchen was useful to us since the room service is a little expensive. The airport shuttle was right on time.

Is on the center of cancun city and very close to the hotel zone. Some rooms are smaller than others with a humede smell and the personal sometimes is very lazy and heedless. The internet doesn't reach most rooms and you always need to stay at lobby for get connection. I don't recommend the breakfast. This place is good for rest and the closeness to ADO and hotel zone. The rooms are apartment-style, mostly with ocean views. The design is a bit retro, and you can hear the sound of the waves. Even after check-out, you still need to check in! The security guard is quite strict!!!

We could see the Caribbean sea from our room and it was amazing. The beach is just a step from the hotel and you can enjoy the swimming pool with sea view as well!

Good little hotel for short stays. Staff are wonderful and attentive. Diego in restaurant was friendly attentive and a great cook. Love the toiletries in room, included toothbrush, lotion, tissue pack and shampoo. Area is rural but Ubers are easy and affordable. Took one to nearby Playa del Niño. Update : the hotel refunded my dad in the morning for the second time they charged me. I booked this off Priceline for my dad and paid in advance. When he got there they said they couldn't find the reservation. He showed them the receipt and confirmation number. That wasn't enough for them. The location is great, just a ten-minute walk from the bus stop, and there's a large supermarket on the way! Highly recommended if you're catching a bus in the morning.

Good value, easy transport Great hotel stay in downtown Cancun. Really short walk to the bus stop, so transfer from the airport was easy on the ADO bus, as well the local buses to the beaches nearby. Good value - all we needed for a night.

The Wi-Fi is a big problem; there was no cell phone signal in the rooms. Breakfast is complimentary, as they say. The truth is, it's a very functional hotel for arriving and sleeping in the hotel zone. Its location is good, very close to the Intercontinental Hotel bus stop.

Because it was located in the hotel zone, it had good access to the beach and was an area where pick-up and drop-off services were available for tours.

The photos on Trip are 10 times better than the hotel itself the shower is cold there was no remote control for the air conditioning and they charge a fee upon arrival for cleaning the room which is not registered on the reservation otherwise overall it remains correct to spend a few nights in the hotel but nothing more.

The room was very clean and there was a pool, so I was very satisfied. The Wi-Fi was fast and there were no problems. There were times when the shower did not have hot water.

The hotel has what you need and is close to restaurants and pubs. It is a cozy area to walk around and look around. There are two restaurants connected to the hotel. A cozy pool where you can order drinks. The only minus I can think of is that the wifi did not reach the pool.

The staff is impatient and has no desire to satisfy and please the customer. They resolve everything by simply letting us know we can make a "complaint." The pool is under construction, which isn't communicated before booking. There was only one outlet for the TV and another in the bathroom, and none near the beds.

The service was very good. The location is excellent for my needs, as close to the bus station. There are plenty of restaurants in the area and shopping nearby. The hotel restaurant has a very friendly staff. The food is good too.  It was my 4th stay at the hotel and I would stay there again.

I like to stay at this hotel, they used to have restaurant in the reception area but now only breakfast. There is shop near the hotel they have food service as well but the food is kind of expensive. The rest it is secure and peaceful polite workers.

If you dont like to walk or don't have transportation, it will be hard to move around. Luckily we had Uber available. Much better than local taxi's. Property needs lots of upgrades. Staff not so friendly, at least not with us, kitchen for breakfast is limited as well. If you're in a rush, yoi cant eat there.

I recommend a restaurant and bar as close as possible where you can sit and have a laugh.

The room is very big and the surrounding environment is a bit backward. It is quite far from the scenic spot and you have to take a bus. Overall it is okay.

the property looked very old nothing updated rooms did not look like pic only two towels for bath given nothing else as for new ones when they cleaned they left same towel we had just asked for and used instead of replacing pool super small paid for a night i didnt stay due to flight cancellation

The are some cheap and good restaurants around the hotel. The bed was not good for two people, maybe good for one. However, the best was the price and location. There are not parking lot inside the hotel, you have to park at the street.

I arrived at the hotel very late, around 2am, and the girl at the reception checked me in without any problems. The hotel is in the city center and there was some music playing. It was very dark in the room. I couldn't see anything. The bed and pillows were comfortable. You can stay for one or two nights. I wouldn't recommend it for a long period.

The unit is spacious and thoughtfully laid out. Everything from the hot tub to the AC is fully operational; the kitchen equipment is a bit dated but works perfectly well, and the shower pressure is a highlight.

Good location so you could walk to just about anything you would need. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The photos of the room were a little deceiving, there are no windows, and we learned you have to run the shower for about 10 minutes before any hot water comes out.

Great Location, nice view, food overall was good. This resort needs better exterior upkeep but i think they are running as long as possible and trying to get what they can out of it without dumping too much money into aesthetics. This is an older but nice property with a nice beach. The room is a little outdated, but serves its purpose. The staff was friendly. The food is very authentic and offers something for everyone. You will need to drink fast or drink more to get the most out of the alcohol but the bartenders are nice. I would definitely stay again for the property, price and beach.

The location of the property is damn good just across the playa caracol beach and isla mujeros ferry point. But the hotel has limited facilities - no lift, no night checkin, no security, no guards, anybody can walk in at night to your room, and i faced a shower pressure issue throughout my stay which was kinda annoying

We were able to store our luggage before check-in, so we could enjoy sightseeing comfortably. The staff were very helpful.
