I had the loveliest stay at Decu. The hospitality experience was amazing, with an incredibly welcoming and friendly staff. Very tranquil and in a walkable neighborhood.

This is such a beautiful property. The place is pristine, the bed and pillows super comfortable and lets talked about the staff, just wow. Super attentive, accommodative, always with a smile. We are vegan and their menu didn’t have vegan options so we opted for buying some fridge food and make our leaves dinner, they warmed the food for us, no if it buts about it. The hotel was nice enough. The room was large and nicely equipped. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was good with a nice big shower. Our room had a window into a car park, but thankfully it wasn't noisy. The wifi was reliable and fast. The location is awesome, not even 5 minutes to Zocalo. For one night it was great.

Our stay in the " Maison del Embajador". The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They were always willing to help, offering advice about our stay and even storing our baggage when we needed extra time before check-in. The room was spacious and clean , with a comfortable bed , however the bathroom was terrible. It strongly stunk of sewer smells and the shower tiling was dangerously slippery. There is a coffee maker but you have to go to the front desk to ask for the coffee??

Good value but rooms need maintenance Very convenient location and large rooms but bathrooms and AC units need maintenance.

The pool needs to keep up as the tiles that has been unsticking can hurt someone. The room needs at least 2 more towels for over 2 guests. I liked the room space, bathroom too. Nice putdoors.

Lovely staff, He let us check in super early after staying in an unpleasant hotel down the road the night before. Got a king bed for $28 usd a night couldn’t beat that. The shower pressure and hot water made this hotel well worth it. Only downside our room did smell a little off but we didn’t mind at all it was a great stay.

Some issues with the breakfast options - hotel and linked restaurant need to explain this better but otherwise tasty and staff do try. Diez Diez is nicely situated, close to main drag and restaurants. Super great staff. Issa in a he restaurant was amazing. She made an extra effort to connect with guests. Bathroom needs upgrade and the he carpet in the room hasn’t been vacuumed in a while.

We loved our stay at Diez Diez. The rooms are beautiful and uniquely designed. Perfectly located just across from Paseo Montejo. Our room was a little loud, but they accommodated us to another one that was perfect. Staff is very friendly and made sure our stay was a memorable one.

This hotel is on Calle 59, but around a 20-25 minute walk from the main centre of Merida, so if you have any mobility issues, this probably isn't the place for you. The property is well located near the center of Merida, just a couple blocks away. No restaurant, just a small kitchen that serves breakfast, no lunch nor dinners. Also there's no room service. The rooms are well equipped. It has a small pool where you can relax, closes at 21 hrs. Overall, it's a good hotel if you want something without any noise, however, it's just a room. Grateful for the 24/7 checkin, bec i needed to do an emergency booking at 9pm due to another property in the north falling through due to lack of communication and no checkin instructions provided. They were very accommodating, and also let me transfer to a bigger room w window when i saw that the first room that they put me in didnt have a window. Cute decor, interior plants made it very comfy.

Hotel is charming and lovely. The staff, including the owner, could not have been any more helpful or considerate. A real pleasure. The only caveat is some noise at night in the front of the hotel that could be disturbing if you're a light sleeper. Despite that, the hotel is great in every respect.
