Merida, CALLE 56 468 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Beautiful hotel with an extremely attentive staff. Every staff member went beyond expectations! Bravo to them. The breakfast was outstanding. The pool area was lovely place to cool down and to just relax after a busy sightseeing day. It was our first time to Mérida and we enjoyed exploring the city. It is an easy walk to the main plaza, museums and “restaurant row”- Calle 47. We especially liked the...
Excellent staff Good continental breakfast Clean room Great location for Merida Centro Great stay!
I had the loveliest stay at Decu. The hospitality experience was amazing, with an incredibly welcoming and friendly staff. Very tranquil and in a walkable neighborhood.
This is such a beautiful property. The place is pristine, the bed and pillows super comfortable and lets talked about the staff, just wow. Super attentive, accommodative, always with a smile. We are vegan and their menu didn’t have vegan options so we opted for buying some fridge food and make our leaves dinner, they warmed the food for us, no if it buts about it. We had THE best experience
Warm and attentive service, clean and aesthetically pleasing environment.
Great hotel with wonderful breakfasts and popsicles. Bit of an odd location, neither central nor near the Paseo de Montejo

Good clean hotel, no issues does the job.
The hotel looks really nice also decorations are pretty good but there were a couple of flaws. Room was too narrow, shower smelled of moisture. My room was facing the road and the noise was too high, especially in the night. We stayed for only one night
Pool in central courtyard area good size and depth to swim diametrically across or around. I did see the staff cleaning it in the morning but by early evening there were a fair number of leaves floating. Corridor outside room door big puddle(they overwatered the pot plant!!).Cleaning staff removed all my towels and did not replace. Had to request toilet roll to replenish. The cleaning team were pleasant...
Good but....
Okay, the location was walkable to everything we wanted to see. It was clean and the staff was exceptional. Overall are really nice hotel. It was our first stay in Merida so we have nothing to compare it to. I will say overlooking the street was absolutely terrible. It was constant buses and lines of people waiting for the buses and you couldn't walk down the street. The buses ran all...
The hotel was nice enough. The room was large and nicely equipped. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was good with a nice big shower. Our room had a window into a car park, but thankfully it wasn't noisy. The wifi was reliable and fast.
The location is awesome, not even 5 minutes to Zocalo.
For one night it was great.
We stayed on a group tour. This is clean functional hotel. We had large room with two queen beds and large shower room. Really efficient air con. Good shower room with hot water. The breakfast in the morning was tasty cheese omelette with the usual refried beans and very lightly toasted white bread with jam provided. Coffee ok. There is a swimming pool in the hotel we did not use it. The big...

AMAIZING HOTEL SO HAPPY!!!! Great service 5 stars
Small and cozy. Very clean entry. Swimming pool is small, but cozy to sit and relax.
Super nice staff. Room was clean. Plumbing was less than expected (shower & toilet) great location. AC just ok, room amenities underwhelming. That said the price was super low and as such the room was a great value
Our stay in the " Maison del Embajador".
The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They were always willing to help, offering advice about our stay and even storing our baggage when we needed extra time before check-in. The hotel itself is a very pleasant place to stay, with a beautiful garden and a great location.
Great location. Just a few blocks from everything you're going to want to see. Very clean rooms and friendly staff. Free gated parking.

The room was well appointed and clean. The hotel is near downtown and there are plenty of eating options close.
The room was spacious and clean , with a comfortable bed , however the bathroom was terrible. It strongly stunk of sewer smells and the shower tiling was dangerously slippery. There is a coffee maker but you have to go to the front desk to ask for the coffee??
The rooms are very clean and modern. The beds a very comfortable. There’s an excellent Italian restaurant with homemade pasta and a coffee shop downstairs. The location is very good. All in all it’s a great value!
The hotel has a good location.
Staff not friendly at all, hard to talk to, always on their cellular. We walked in this evening after dinner, said, "hello" and had no acknowledget or answer.
The Hotel Plaza by Kavia located on the Paseo de Montejo was an ideal location for our group. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The Italian restaurant and the cafe next door were excellent. The elevator makes it convenient not to have to walk up flights of stairs. However, the hotel is not geared for the disabled or persons with mobility restrictions. Good value but rooms need maintenance
Very convenient location and large rooms but bathrooms and AC units need maintenance.
The pool needs to keep up as the tiles that has been unsticking can hurt someone. The room needs at least 2 more towels for over 2 guests.
I liked the room space, bathroom too. Nice putdoors.
Lovely staff, He let us check in super early after staying in an unpleasant hotel down the road the night before. Got a king bed for $28 usd a night couldn’t beat that. The shower pressure and hot water made this hotel well worth it. Only downside our room did smell a little off but we didn’t mind at all it was a great stay.

The room was clean and the staff very helpful.
Everything was good, the only thing is there were a lot ls mosquitos in the room. We had to buy a repellent, and spray all over the room every day!!
Rather tired decor and variable quality towels. Bathroom needs updates. Some issues with the breakfast options - hotel and linked restaurant need to explain this better but otherwise tasty and staff do try. In room safe not fixed flat battery, room doesn’t have any chest of draws to unpack . Mosquito spray for room needed. Best aspect is location and overall god value.
There were so many mosquitoes in my room that it was difficult to get a good night's sleep. I realized the next day that my room was the only one that did not have a screen to the window so they had to have been hearing the room out for my arrival.
Also the air conditioner was not working properly. I had it at the very lowest setting and the vent door would not open. Finally, I stuck a empty water...
The front desk staff seemed disinterested upon our arrival. We weren’t greeted or given any explanation about our rooms, and I had to ask several questions to get basic information. At the end of the check-in, I even had to confirm whether we were finished, as there was no acknowledgment or closing courtesy. It left us feeling a bit uncertain about the process.
The rooms were large and comfortable...

Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Room decor outstanding but toilet glass walls made wife go to hall toilet.

Bathroom needs upgrade and the he carpet in the room hasn’t been vacuumed in a while.
Great stay. Great staff.
Great spot. Feels very private even though it’s next to so much. Staff was great. Will stay here again.
I recently stayed at Diez Diez and was really impressed. The hotel is an older property that has been beautifully renovated—modern touches while still keeping its charm. Our room was very nice, comfortable, and well-maintained.
What truly sets this place apart is the staff. Every interaction we had was outstanding; the reception team especially goes above and beyond, whether it’s helping with room...
We loved our stay at Diez Diez. The rooms are beautiful and uniquely designed. Perfectly located just across from Paseo Montejo. Our room was a little loud, but they accommodated us to another one that was perfect. Staff is very friendly and made sure our stay was a memorable one.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Great location! The rooms were a nice size and the HVAC seemed to handle the winter weather well. The property was nice and clean and inviting to hangout outside. Lovely hotel and excellent location. We had a great time over New Year’s Eve. The breakfast (if you opt in to have breakfast included) is in the restauarant attached to the hotel and offers a variety of choices off their breakfast menu. Very modern hotel. Very well located. Easy park. Friendly staff and very clean.
The only thing is that the breakfast doesn’t match the quality of the hotel, but it is still tasty.
The room was beautiful, very spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. The shower had great water pressure. Staff were all friendly and ready to help if needed.
Room was spotless and cleaned well every day of my stay

Absolutely fantastic! The hotel is an oasis of tranquility in the beautiful city of Mérida. Service is of an exceptional high level. The view from the penthouse suite is beautiful. Rooms are spacious and the pool is great! We spent 3 lovely nights at this place.
The Boutique hotel is stunning. It's such a lovely environment overall, from the piano in the lobby to the indoor-outdoor feel and the incredible pool. I had the most magical moment with a friend, literally playing in the water in a rainstorm. Core memories made here! I highly recommend Boutique by the Museo for your first (and every!) stay in Mérida.
Boutique by the Museo offers an utterly gorgeous, charming stay for anyone looking to stay in Mérida. In particular, the courtyard, pool area, and surrounding lounge spaces truly make this hotel a small paradise for travelers. The staff is very helpful and always greets with a smile. Great breakfast offerings, as well!
We had a wonderful time at this lovely hotel last week, everything was perfect for our family. We were a group of six, 3 adults 3 kids. Clean room, great vibe, friendly staff. Not that great in the restaurant service, took too long and some items on the menu where missing. The rooms are great!
My wife and I just got married in Merida and stayed here for a week and a half. We loved everything about it, but especially the people that work there. They are great! We intend on going back in the future.
The grounds of this hotel are immaculate. The room, the food, the attention to detail and service. We had the best massage at the spa, and the staff went above and beyond the standard of accommodations for everything we needed. Will be staying here anytime we're in Merida!

Casa Italia is close enough to all the main sites to visit in Merida, while being far enough away to be in a quiet neighborhood so you can rest. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we loved the private pool and courtyard for relaxation after a long day of siteseeing.
The air conditioner was musty and loud, however, the rest of the stay was pleasant. The breakfast included is continental, and decent, albeit small. The cost for the egg option is fine at 85 pesos. The keys provided for the front door were confusing (all same shape) but luckily we did not need them late at night when the hotel is apparently unattended (which seems a bit odd? what if guests have issues...
Not a good location but it's okay for a short stay. It's 3 blocks from paseo and way further to the central square
The property is well located near the center of Merida, just a couple blocks away.
No restaurant, just a small kitchen that serves breakfast, no lunch nor dinners. Also there's no room service.

One of the best hotels ANYWHERE. The owner strives for perfection and achieves it. Gorgeous property. Perfect location. The staff is always there to help. Wonderful breakfast.
Hotel is charming and lovely. The staff, including the owner, could not have been any more helpful or considerate. A real pleasure. The only caveat is some noise at night in the front of the hotel that could be disturbing if you're a light sleeper. Despite that, the hotel is great in every respect.

Good clean hotel. Well situated near the Merida Granda, and you can walk to all the places of Merida from the hotel
The room was spacious and clean, but the shower was broken and we had to deal with water everywhere. The breakfast was poor of vegetarian options and, apart from the eggs, by payment.
The location was great in general good value for the money. Our room 106 was not clean property there was hair in the shower walls
that were ours.
