This is a beautiful hotel in every way, immaculately clean, stylish decor and set in most the tranquil and peaceful surroundings. The views are stunning, waking up in the morning and sitting with a coffee waiting for the sun to appear over the mountains and Kotor Bay was a delight! The hotel staff were all so friendly and helpful and willing to assist with taxis, restaurant bookings and local information, nothing was too much trouble. Truely a wonderful holiday, and we can’t wait to go back to this hotel one day and the beautiful Montenegro!

The hotel staff were all so friendly and helpful and willing to assist with taxis, restaurant bookings and local information, nothing was too much trouble. We used taxis booked by the hotel frequently (the ones in town can catch you) but it was so nice to be out of the way of the busy Kotor and have somewhere relaxing to go back to. The hotel serves a delicious breakfast but nothing for lunch or dinner, this wasn’t a problem as we enjoyed going out to explore the bay and eating in different locations. Capasanta is a beautiful seafood restaurant within easy walking distance of the hotel. We would really recommend Galion restaurant in Kotor which overlooks the Bay where you can choose your fresh fish. Don’t miss Perast, it’s a beautiful town set on the coast and we loved Conte Restaurant here and watching the sunset from our table. Truely a wonderful holiday, and we can’t wait to go back to this hotel one day and the beautiful Montenegro!

Hotel Libertas is a true gem in Boka Bay. The views are stunning – calm mornings on the water and unforgettable sunsets over the mountains. The hotel perfectly combines authentic stone architecture with modern comfort, and the pool and terrace overlooking the bay make it the ideal place to relax. Staff were warm, attentive, and made our stay feel special. An unforgettable experience in one of the most beautiful corners of Montenegro

Lovely hotel right next to the sea in beautiful Kotor Bay, rooms clean and bed super comfy. Pool area and pier loungers both clean and well appointed. Staff helpful and happy to help with any questions you have. We walked in to Kotor, took about 50 mins but pleasant in the early evening, I would not recommend walking in the dark though as road can be busy. We caught the bus back from Kotor, it runs on the hour but is usually 10+ mins late.

All-in-one: access to beach, on-site pool, simple breakfast to start the day. Getting there is a challenge to drivers that do not know how to maneuver on one street roads that de-facto are two way.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a week. To begin, the staff were incredibly polite with great recommendations for local restaurants and always willing to help with things like excursions, taxis, etc. The scenery of the hotel was incredible, pool very clean and the location was great as we expected to be a 10 minute drive from kotor old town. Absolutely loved our stay and will be returning.

Stunning hotel in a great location, staff super friendly and helpful. Our room was really nice, very comfortable, clean and tidy. Pool area was beautiful as was the dock where the sunbeds were set by the sea. Really good breakfast and drinks by the pool or beach were great. Would highly recommend.

Just go back from 5 amazing days here the hotel is stunning with amazing views, and facilities, the location is perfect, just outside Kotor so away from the hustle, but very easy 35 min walk or 5 mins in a taxi into Kotor old town. Staff were brilliant, always there and helpful, and the room and facilities made this an amazing holiday, got to be honest only went in the pool once, but was really nice, we just seemed to enjoy the outside sea area with sun beds more you could just all day there watching the world go by, and swimming in the sea absolute amazing place and staff and a credit to the owners, already looking at going next year

Without doubt the best and friendliest hotel we have ever stayed at. The team working there were all brilliant, the rooms were lovely and so was the breakfast which was fresh and varied. We did a boat tour with them which was fantastic! Six of us stayed with them and we will definitely come back! Thank you from the Thompson’s.
