However, there were several downsides. Upon arrival, no one helped with the luggage, which is usually expected. The rooms were very small and not cozy, and although we booked a double bed, we were given two singles. The bathroom had an unpleasant sewage smell, the Wi-Fi in the room kept disconnecting, and the cleaning was average bed linens were not changed daily and bathrobes kept being taken away, so we had to call reception to ask for replacements. Housekeeping also came after 2 p.m., even though I requested earlier service, which was inconvenient.
Another disappointment was that the complimentary tea bags offered in the spa were also sold in the cafe for €6 at that price, proper brewed tea should really be provided. The TV in the room also shut off by itself occasionally. Toiletries were very limited surprisingly, not even toothbrushes and toothpaste, which even 3-star hotels usually provide.
Overall, while the hotel has potential thanks to its location and beach, the quality of the rooms, amenities, and service did not meet expectations.
However, there is a waterproof layer under the bedsheet, which makes the mattress not breathable. It becomes very hot when using the duvet, but too cold without it.
I understand this may be for easier cleaning, but unfortunately it makes sleeping quite uncomfortable.
The rooms are a bit small.
The facilities are very nice, definitely a huge bonus that it was free of charge.
They are also dark and very cold.
Washrooms smells funny.
Hotel staff useless and just kept saying that this is how room is constructed and refused to give us a different room.
They on the other hand were eager to sell superior room for another 42 Euros, told them that for 120 Euros's which is already paid they should atleast offer a clean and functional room.
This hotel is useless and a big scam.
Please avoid at all costs.
