This is the worst hotel I have stayed at for this price range. The front desk first assigned a room that was already occupied, then the replacement room had unusable power outlets, and the final room was missing slippers and bathrobes. Communication was also ineffective—even after we showed the staff our bath bag to explain our request, they misunderstood and still only sent over slippers and bathrobes...

Friendly and courteous front staff, big rooms and comfortabele beds

The staff were very welcoming, the room was clean, it was my second stay at this property. I was just missing bath robes and slippers. Overall it was a nice stay.

This is the first time for us to stay here. The hotel room and the bathroom is quite large. The location is perfect, silent and safe. We really love this hotel.

Disappointing Stay in the Corner Suite Booked the Corner Suite with Club Lounge access—expected comfort and style, but left disappointed. Room was large but dark and poorly furnished: just one chair in the sitting area, no minibar, and cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The beds were terrible—mattresses felt ancient, likely 15+ years old. Bathroom counters oddly high, clearly not designed with practicality...

We are family of four with tw kids ages between 7 to 10 years old, our over all experience with the hotel is goo, except the room cleaning, the room cleaning either remove our hotel card by accident, or didnt replace the tissue when it empty for 2 days, didnt remove all the dirty towels… the only word I would say is the cleaning person didnt care, we didn’t make any complaint but we are not satisfied...

It was really clean, and very close to city centre. Just one tram into city centre, and not far from the airport too.

I stayed at this hotel for four nights, the hotel is in a great location and there are many transportation options nearby, many food and shopping places, but the cleanliness is very poor, the first day I noticed dirty water glasses so I thought it was just a small mistake, but the other three days I was really upset because the housekeeping only made the bed and changed the towels while not cleaning...

The hotel is an Old one. The old section is bad. No lifts. Narrow Staircases to your room down below. Location is not in the main Amsterdam. Breakfast was good. The receptionists were quite confused.

Apart from the quite expensive price, I give the Apollo Hotel Amsterdam and it's grete team compliments.

The room is OK, facing the canal, the scenery is nice, the corridor inside the hotel is also beautiful, close to the South Station, and it takes more than 20 minutes to walk to the Van Gogh Museum. The front desk is very experienced.

Noise during the night. Could not sleep. When complained to front desk they acted as they do not know about it.  No shampoo or conditioner , only body gel

A decent choice for business trips. The parking lot is across from the hotel. The facilities are comparable to a typical 3-star hotel in China, nothing special. The location is quite easy to find, so it's recommended for business travelers.

Had a wonderful spa experience at the Mandarin Hotel today. My therapist was Amy and she was wonderful. The massage was the best I've ever had and made me feel great all week. Amy went above and beyond to personalise my experience. I can't wait to come back again.

Had the best 3 nights here with my partner. From arrival the service was amazing. Attentive and polite. Concierge desk, especially Claire, made our visit very pleasant. She helped us book restaurants and told us key information about the area. Housekeeping always did a great service.

To whom this may concern. I was very disappointed in the hotel hotline, the Jung lady who picked up the phone spoke Dutch and I asked her, if she speaks English and she said no and hung up the phone. The call was taken place at 21:35 on Wednesday 25 of February. Very unpolite & unprofessional. My work colleagues like the hotel, I will still consider to book a room. Sorry for the bad news

A great hotel but if you need to do any work online you will struggle. The wifi is intermittent and slow doesn’t begin to cover it. The area also has shocking mobile coverage so very difficult to work from here.

In room details, it states there is a minibar, in fact, there is none. We asked the reception for the missing minibar, it seems that only suite room has one. Overal stay is good.

The location is very good, very close to the city center and just a few minutes from Chinatown. The only drawback is the carpet in the room, which had visible stains, and a few moldy spots on the silicone in the bathtub.

Clean hotel in a central and convenient location (a few minutes walk to a tram and bus stop). The reception smells good and the staffs are nice. Our room looks a bit outdated though we got one with a tub. However, it felt unsafe to use as it gets slippery when wet. It’s safer to add an anti-slip surface. Hope the hotel considers that. Regardless, this is a highly recommended hotel.

Stayed during Ade festival. Staff where lovely and beds where comfortable however getting in and out of the hotel?!…. You have to walk all the way round the back of the hotel to get in and out of it! It’s right next to a motorway currently being built so it was quite inconvenient

Location is too far away from the Amsterdam city center, no restaurants nearby or even pedestrian lanes or bike rentals. So we had to order Uber constantly. The room was overall okay, however the central heating wasn't doing anything so it was cold. The floor was cold too, and they didn't provide you with hotel slippers or anything. Love the location, a short walk from the tram station right by the canal, quiet yet close (walking distance) to everywhere. Didn’t have much interactions with the staffs and on the occasion that I did, the staff helped with my issue though, wasn’t friendly or smiling. Room was well kept. Coffee machine was not that good, nor very clean. The coffee machine downstairs used to be on for customers but it's been off for a long time now. The hotel has a great location and a comfortable lobby. While the rooms have some limitations due to the building's age, they still meet basic travel needs. They're sufficient for exploring the city, although the rooms are a bit cramped; however, this is typical of European hotels.

The room was very clean and air-conditioned. It was close to the station and major attractions. It was about a three-minute walk from the Queen's Palace. The facilities were relatively new. The soundproofing was good at night. It was better than expected.

I booked the smallest room, and it was a bit uncomfortable because there weren't many outlets. A small table would have been nice. However, the view was beautiful and romantic.

The plates smell of egg. The seating area in level 1 cloth seats needs cleaning customers hair left. Great location and friendly staff and good quality building. Good quality is not great and breakfast choices are very limited. Management needs to take some quick actions to the above.

It’s a great hotel, friendly staff, comfortable. But unfortunately I slept quite bad because of noise in the corridor.

The hotel structure is beautiful, the restaurant and bar are cosy.There is akso a small swummingpool and saunas. But the hotel is located outside of the city centre and the rooms have an awful view on commetcial buoldings. Terrible experiemce with one of the receptionist who showed no signs of being service minded.

Spacious rooms, but they're ok. They charge high prices just to give you the cheapest amenities. I don't think I've ever stayed in a hotel with cheaper one ply toilet paper. Someone must've gone out of their way to fine the roughest toilet paper that the Netherlands has to offer. Huge room, but no full body length mirror. Just one mirror in the whole room. Was here for a meeting. Had a small lunch before the meeting which tasted good. Didn't make use of the rooms so can't judge that but overall the lobby and restaurant looked attractive so I assume the rooms meet the same standard.

Lovely Hotel. Nice concept for family getaway. Beautiful lobby to hangout. The room is very spacious and comfortable. We arrived at night and all looked beautiful. In the morning you could see that the bathroom was not thoroghly cleaned. Found hair from precious guest, dust in corners and dirty tile grout.

I like this shop very much. The location is good and the waiters are courteous. But the room is a bit small and two luggages can't be accommodated. The place to put towels in the toilet is not convenient. You can add more. You have to bend down to take them out every time. If The price is even better!
