The temperature of shower water is not constant. I complained at the last time. This time in another room. Same problem. The room is not warm enough in November, even with the maximal heating setting.

The room smelled of sewage, and after changing rooms, the same smell persisted in the other room. The hotel is old and not worth the money.

It's a nice hotel located in a very green environment, very soothing for a walk, so it's not in a urban area. For stores you need to travel, but it's not too far away from the city centre.

Good stay but staff need to be more service oriented with guests

We had a wonderful weekend. The hotel is close to the city center, and the dinner and breakfast were delicious. The amenities, such as the swimming pool, sauna, and fitness center, are all there. A jacuzzi in the room is what my 6-year-old daughter calls it. The next time we're in Roermond, we'll definitely book here again.

It is a large hotel in Roermond, with a small balcony for smoking. The surrounding area is very quiet, the parking lot is opposite, and it is very convenient to get in and out. It is not far from the shopping village.

The rooms were clean and quiet. The breakfast was okay but nothing special. The location is a little further away from the center but there‘s a bus stop right in front of the hotel. The staff‘s attitude is the only thing I need to criticize. Everyone just seems bored with their job and annoyed if you ask them questions. They are not customer friendly at all. They really need to improve their performance

Compared to Ibis in Paris, having a hairdryer is a big plus.

Is not on city center but you get perfect hotel and quiet night instead

Can't complain a lot, except there is no water boiler, we need to ask. The room is clean, the surrounding is quite and nice. We like to walking at the park after lunch or dinner.

Beautiful hotel and grounds. Customer Service was good. My only criticism is I didn't understand the see through shower walls. I was staying with a freind as part of a stag group and the only way we could shower privately was if we turned the bathroom light off. Perfect for a honey moon sweet however it wasnt the occasion for it 😅

Spent couple nights at this castle and really enjoyed the surrounding, the hotel and the restaurants. Castle is located around 10 km off Maastricht. It is a great place to spend a relaxing weekend. Rooms have been recently remodeled . Food was wonderful.

Truly loved our stay here. The staff were so kind and friendly and the rooms and grounds were so beautiful. The spa was also so relaxing and had all you needed. The church attached to the property is the most beautiful i've ever seen and really hope to visit again in the spring/summer to see everything in bloom! Definitely a must visit if you are in the Maastricht area!

Had a pleasant stay in a room with a beautiful harbor view. The beds and bathroom were excellent. The breakfast was delicious, the service was good, and the restaurant was also excellent. I enjoyed using the sauna for a bit. A minor drawback was that the sauna door couldn't be opened with the key card, so I had to take a detour via the balcony. Parking was available right in front of the hotel, almost directly on the beach. We stayed in a renovated deluxe double room. The room was well-appointed with all amenities, and though not large, the space was optimally designed. We enjoyed the sunset from our balcony.

Extremely friendly staff. The hotel is a bit dated and was being renovated during our stay. Unfortunately, this wasn't mentioned when booking. The hotel staff was very unfriendly. The room was not the one we had requested, and we requested either a change of room or, if a change was not possible, an additional reservation, but neither of these requests were accommodated. The problem seemed to be due to an error in the room reservation system, but I was surprised at how unfriendly the staff was.

The room is not big, but the facilities are complete, the service is smooth and fast, the front desk is warm and friendly, and the surrounding transportation is convenient. It is very close to The Hague Central Station, which can be reached in 2-3 minutes on foot. The directions on the way are clear. There are many types of breakfast, which look very delicate and taste good.

The cleaning staff rarely come to tidy up here, and a lot of things need fixing.

2 days we didint get heater and i get allergic so much coz so cold inside the room.. and the electricity have problem and my rice cooker burned suddenly just 5 minutes turn on and lamps turn off by itself .. and how about my deposit? Did u return to us ?

The rooms were cold, I turned on the air conditioner but it didn't heat anything, and there was no television.

We stayed here with our daughter (baby) Valerie. We were given a crib, but it was more than just dirty; it had a comforter that had clearly been used by someone else. I hope you can offer a solution because we were very unhappy about this. Unfortunately, we didn't take any photos.

Budget-minded travelers who mainly use the hotel to sleep & shower and spend days out exploring. With decent amenities, clean rooms (for the most part), and good transport connections. It won’t feel luxurious, but for a 3-star hotel

We arrived at this hotel by bus from the airport. One straight bus from the airport. Bus 369. U can get directions from the information counter. Like 15 minutes before reaching the hotel. The best hotel i’ve been while traveling Europe. The staffs are very welcoming. Easy check in/out. The location is accessible to all public transportation in the city. The room was clean and nice. You can also leave your luggage for free in case of early check in/out. If i go back to Amsterdam, I’ll definitely book here again.

An easy and practical location, close to trams and local bars/ restaurants. Lovely vibe and very friendly, helpful staff. Could improve on some details for example the huge TV picked up hardly any stations and the sliding bathroom door had a mind of it's own requiring two of us to close it sometimes!

Very close to the airport, there is a bus station line 397 that can bring you to the city center with in 30 mins. just walk around 1 min to station.

Not super central. Drinks are not cheap, but love the atmosphere. Very chilled, nice mix of young to grown up professionals. If you enjoy live music, jam in rooftop contemporary setting and don't mind drinks being a bit on the pricey side, then try this. Large rooftop terrace for summer drinks.

had a wonderful stay at Zoku. The location is excellent, the staff are incredibly friendly and professional—especially Luana and Merlin, who really made me feel welcome. Don't get me wrong, very nice hotel and the rooms are homely, clean and well equipped. Staff are friendly and the terrace has a great view. Breakfast is amazing and although I did not have dinner, Im sure it would be good too. I would say that the lift is a real problem. with so many guests that come from the outside to have brunch and dinner the lifts easily get way too crowded and one waits forever...

The 1.8-meter bed I booked was actually less than 1.5 meters long and one side was against the wall. The facilities were worse than those of a budget hotel and it was really not worth the nearly 2,000 yuan price. The surroundings were also shabby. The room was arranged in the corner of the first floor along the road, which was really terrible.

It's too cold. The room is 16-19°C when it's -2°C outside. That's not ok. You adjust the temperature higher, but it's blocked and automatically drops. The food is great. The rooms are great! Everything is ruined by the overwhelming cold.

Heat didn't work properly and it was freezing cold. I could not figure out the stopper in the bathtub and the water after my shower never drained. Room and bed were clean. Parking garage is decently priced. It's an ok option to stay outside of Amsterdam...as long as it's not cold I guess

The beds were not comfortable especially the sofa bed. Have to pay to use the shuttle bus to the air but returns are free but finishes at midnight. Airport to Hotel cost €30. The food choices are very small. If travelling by air very convenient but remember you have to book your own transport to the airport if you are travelling at night.

10 mins walk from train station, room is very clean with kettle, tea and coffee provided. Staff is very friendly.

Lovely lounge to wait in and also a gym

We had a really good stay at the James this weekend. A group of friends and I visited Rotterdam for the weekend, this was the perfect base. I very useful serve yourself food court in the hotel allows you to access food and drinks 24 hours. The rooms we large, comfortable and well furnished. Overall a great trip, great value and would visit again.

The single room is really small. I stayed Mo to Fr and there was not much space for my stuff. I guess for 1 night it is ok, if you plan to stay longer chose a bigger room!

There were only very few choices left because we booked the hotel very late for the Christmas vacation and new year eve. We chose this because it was close to the central station, which was a mistake. Amsterdam was literally packed with tourists especially in the city center and it was actually not enjoyable to stay in the crowded busy street. My room was impeccably clean and in good order, but it was dark and looked out on walls. Luck of the draw--I'm sure other rooms were brighter. This is the place you want to stay! The room (416) was outstanding. Very clean, the lighting was exquisite and the 2 person jetted tub was heaven to soak in. I will stay here again. And the breakfast was AMAZING….

More than decent! First time staying at a Van der Valk and was pleasantly suprised. High standard, clean and well-apointed rooms (apart from glass bathroom door - no one ever liked that). Great pool and spa area, decent restaurant and scrumptious breakfast. Not last time with Van der Valk!

It's about a ten-minute walk from the train station. It's very convenient to walk there. There are many specialty shops along the way, each with its own characteristics.
