Spent a night here on a break in Lisbon. Might have been the best mattress I've ever slept on, seriously! This hotel also has great (and rare), under ground parking in a city where parking is sparce! Close to great restaurants, and some great tourist spots.

Service needs to get better. Acknowledge people when they are coming. Restaurant staff is not the best at all. I enjoyed the food though. Burger was not the best.
Octopus was good as well as the prawns.
If I come to Lisbon, I will return to the hotel because of the design. Not because I had a good service.
There was a guy who worked at the restaurant on Thursday. I did not get his name. He was very friendly. He was off friday, Saturday and back sunday. He is a keeper.

Amazing hotel, in a great area with authentic restaurants at the top of the hill and designer shops at the bottom. The hotel is actually better than the pictures, room is very spacious the pool and sauna is lovely and the downstairs area is nice to do some work if not a tad noisy at times but I like the background noise :)

Located centrally in the downtown Lisbon area, this place has everything to offer. Metro lines, bus lines, usually an elevator are a jump away - you can see them from the windows. Get anywhere in the city from here!
Service was phenomenal. Unsure what to expect as an American overseas for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised to see exceptional service. Room service changed sheets daily and efficiently, the front desk was helpful for navigation, and the bar area was highly friendly! Especially Rute and Paulo, who served us many a Sagres. Thank you both for putting up with us loud Americans!
The rooms were fabulous. Pullout couch, main bed, enormous bathroom with walkin shower. Beautiful view overlooking the busy street, couldn't ask for a better room in this location.

Unfortunately didn't really have the opportunity to feel and enjoy the hotel since my flight arrived too late and couldn't even try there half board dinner.

Great place to stay. Location is great with direct access to the city, metro, busses, all next to the hotel. The private parking garage is a great when you have a rental car.
The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had a great variety of everything.

The room was at the end of the corridor and was very dark and uncomfortable! The bathtub had a bad drain!

An old tourist hotel with a good location at the top of Liberty Avenue, convenient to go anywhere. There are many Chinese guests, but it is obvious that they are more enthusiastic towards European and American guests and are relatively cold towards Chinese. In fact, there are still many Chinese guests, and they should be considered the main source of customers. During the three-day stay, only the first day provided mineral water according to the number of people, and there was no water for the next two days, so you have to go out to buy water yourself. I communicated with the front desk and they reluctantly sent two bottles. Later, I was too lazy to ask for more and went up the hill to buy them. Logically, if the check-in is separated into three days, should it be provided every day? The breakfast is OK, not rich but OK, and the menu is exactly the same every day. Finally, I have to add that I took a taxi four times in Lisbon and was blackmailed by the driver twice, and the price was increased for no reason. I was very speechless. The whole city is very shabby and I don’t want to come to the city again.

Well what can I say? Very good food, good wine, great location right in the middle of town with a fantastic atmosphere some helpful waiters and great people... All in all highly recommended, I'll be sure to return their at some point. Excellent overall

Popular local place with excellent service. The food is great (but the vegan dessert option of orange with mint tastes like dish soap, give that one a miss) and comes quickly. Great ambience being in a beautiful old townhouse.

When I go to The Decadente, I feel at home. Maybe I am a bit decadent. I know place, know the waiters, know the vibe. The service is great (fast, flexible and always with a smile). The menu is nice (not amazingly elaborate but it's tasty and refreshing), it changes often, even though I know that I'm getting that chocolate cake at the end. And the brunch is also amazing. My go to place when I want to go out and feel at home. Good job!

This place is more for the eye than it is for the stomach. The restaurant had a great layout very chill atmosphere, with good service. I had the steak it was good, cooked well. The wine selection was okay could have had a few more options. As for price it was mid range, we spent about 60 euros roughly and got two meals and a bottle of wine no starter. Portions aren't to big but we were satisfied.

Cannot recommend this place highly enough ! The tasting menu is fabulous, we had the 'standard' wine pairing, to familiarise ourselves with Portuguese wines - nothing standard about it, they were all exceptional ! Fantastic service, really special little spot .. !

Amazingly cooked dishes. Great deco and environment. Slightly overpriced considering the customer experience you can usually have in similar places but definitely worth trying.

The service and the wines are really good. Also three out of ten courses tasted very well but some of them weren't absolutely not our taste (e.g. ice-cream which tastes like Gorgonzola cheese).
We started our dinner at 8pm and around 10:30pm we had to leave because new people were waiting outside to get seated. Thinking about the fact that we spend > 100€ per person for the menu and the wine tasting, it's simply not appropriate to kick us out like that.

I cannot emphasize enough on how great our experience was. Courteous service, amazing selection of wines (especially Antonio Maçanita’s), most certainly the best meat I ate in my life. The ambiance and decoration is an attraction in itself. A must if you are in Lisbon and are looking for an outstanding culinary experience!

An interesting place to dine, very consistent throughout the years and has been a reference for the food and for the chef, his a proper legend and has an amazing charisma and good taste for modern approach to the Portuguese culinary.
