Charming guest house really well located. A quite a familiar environment, the house can be suitable for most occasions, for a few days or even for 2 months, as me.
The experience has been great so far, staff very friendly and helpful.
Cleaning and kitchen's facilities has to be improved.
I hardly reccomend it.

Perfect location in Alfama. The apartment is big and lots of room to socialise or hang out. There's no noise from trams thanks to the windows and you can be in the baixa or in Alfama in minutes on foot. Would definitely stay again
David
Really laid back staff. The place was generally clean. Well located in one of the coolest neighbourhood. If you come in august be prepared to sweat. No fans provided and the street is quite noisy with the trams passing by so, unless you are a heavy sleeper you can't open the windows.

Nice Fado place. Small, not to say claustrophobic (you get to know the people in the table next to you very well) . Definitely not geared for tourist (most people in there that night were portugués speaking) but they still treat tourists nicely. People here complained the food was overpriced - as I see it you don’t pay for the food which is mediocre at best , you pay for the Fado which is well worth it.

Very good show, fado was excelent but food is overpriced, poor quality...
Fado is really good, good performers and that's just worth the mention...

The best Fado in Lisbon. Small, family-run, the staff play guitar and sing. The food is expensive, but the music is amazing, the ambience is perfect. Romantic, friendly, great staff, tiny tables crammed into a small room. When I return to Lisbon I’ll go again, no question.

Excellent fado music show, pretty regular food, you'll eat quite close from other people.
Minimum 45€/person
30€ min per food, 15€ music show

Better check before places around although if you know about this 45€ in advance you could not regret dining in here.

45 minute wait. Another hour wait for two salads. My salad consisted of mixed greens, deli turkey slices and mass produced vinaigrette. The other "entree" was a slice of bread with pre-frozen shrimp that were supposedly marinated topped with cherry tomatoes and red onions. There was one gentleman working who made the whole experience worth while, he offered us another seat because we were sat next to smokers and checked on us a few times. Waited another 15 minutes for the bill that never came and waited at the counter for an additional 5 minutes to pay. I really hope that this was just a bad day because in my 2 months being in Europe, this was by far the WORST food I have eaten.
