Lovely big room on 3rd (top) floor. Clean comfy bed but a few niggles. The lead to the kettle didn’t reach any plug! Had to borrow the ironing board to safely use as a table! Shower fan didn’t work but it was a big shower. The windows are velux…. Great opening and big but single glazed so the noise from the clubs surrounding the hotel was immense (like sleeping in the club itself til 3 am!!) double or triple glazing would be a massive bonus.
Otherwise a good place and location to stay - we stayed for 3 nights

Good location and nice room however it was extremely loud. We had an outdoor bar terrace less than 3 metres from our window, and the room wasn’t soundproof at all.

Booked 2 rooms. I was the unlucky one room 311which backs out onto the beer garden of the bar on ground floor. Live music, crowds, fire alarms, let washiing, clanging bottles going on ALL NIGHT I got zero sleep on both nights. Marginally better sleep on the first night because id had a fair bit to drink. Jeez I never one to complain but i definitely think id have a better kip if I slep in the street

I stayed 2 nights at Camden Street Hotel and was very disappointed with the room conditions. There was a persistent foul odor coming through the window, but once it was closed there was no ventilation at all, leaving the room stuffy with lingering smells. The blinds were broken so I couldn’t block out the light, and several maintenance issues made the stay even more uncomfortable: the toilet seat was crooked, the shower and sink were clogged, and when the water was running, the sink filled up and the shower overflowed. The receptionist did try to help by bringing a fan, offering an eye mask, and suggesting taping the blinds, but these are temporary fixes for problems that shouldn’t exist. The location is central with lots of restaurants, bars, and attractions nearby, and the price reflects that, but proper maintenance and basic room functionality are expected. Overall, the stay did not meet the standard advertised, and I believe compensation is fair.

Wouldn’t let us store our bags at check out and told us to use a storage company which we could not find they said 5 minutes away but it was way further. Super loud on the evening , pictures of bar and lobby are not the same as the hotel looks completely different.

Room was very run down with paint splashes and rotting doors. Very noisy on an night until 2am on Tuesday morning affecting sleep.

I stayed there for 5 day. it was not bad experience. it was an attic room. clean and well-maintained room except the window closing handles were too loose to hold tightly. The front street of hotel is Bar street. It can get a bit noisy 'till 3-4am. if you are not used to this, this may be a little bit trouble for you. The windows should have better sound insulation.

Great room. Very basic for a cheap and affordable price. Nice big room with a very good bathroom.

Yes there's noise outside but you can close the windows and they provide esr protectors. We had our own and didn't hear a thing all night.

The only cons were the bathroom door was a little loose and the shower fan didn't work. But it didn't bother us too much as we were only there for a night.

Pros and Cons. We stayed there for 3 nights. If you are in your 20's or 30's, I'd say it's a great place. If you value quiet, bigger room size, conveniences; this may not be your place.
We had to open our window for air/ventilation. However, outside smells from daily city life, restaurants, etc. were prevalent. Sounds at night was also prevalent; people, cars, city noises. It was a good price when we pre-paid, which is why we stayed there but very small room, our sockets burned out our last night.. We couldn't charge any of our devices, TV didn't work. No maintenance came by.
Great local pub nearby - Devitt's I'd recommend.
People working there are very helpful.

Camden street is a great time for pub hopping. Devitt’s has some outstanding traditional Irish fair that’s worth the stop. Cassidy is a live music pub at a reasonable volume. The Camden bar is gigantic with multiple different locations to grab a pint. The hotel was no frills but was clean and met the criteria for a decent/good place to stay.

We ran into this place by chance and took a seat in their botanical garden bar area. Great feel and amazing drinks! Bartender is a real gem. I loved the golden eclipse!!

We booked a table for 12 in December to celebrate the company Christmas Party.
Starters were not as good as expected, as they did share fried stuff platters. Have said this, main courses were beautiful. Everyone enjoyed their mains and the overall price wasn't too bad.
We moved then to the bar on the first floor where the disco is. Great fun and all in one venue. I would recommend this place specially for groups +5

Newly reopened with an amazing new good and cocktail menu, and amazing staff that know how to mix! I highly recommend.
