Absolutely clean and friendly staff! Free simple breakfast and coffee & tea. Remember to ask for Lower Deck if don’t prefer upper deck!

Location near MRT for accessibility. Abit pricey but its not bad considering free coffee/tea + laundry + chill communal areas.
Can be overwhelming with people at times. Guests arguing but noted its not a common occurrence.
But Lady host was great and friendly.. Even gave a free upgrade.

Ground floor was bad, have bad odour. Capsule bed has ant. Lighting also very deemed. 2nd floor good but they always give me ground floor even though i have requested 2nd floor (i have stayed many times).

The accommodation was quiet and clean, and very close to the MRT. There are many food options around, and breakfast includes toast and coffee. The WiFi speed was good.

I didn’t think this would be my best stay in Singapore. I was able to have a comfortable sleep and the other guests were courteous and quiet at night. The young lady at the desk was able to check me in and accommodate me upon my late arrival, she also asked me several times how my stay was and I appreciate such service for how basic of a place this is as I stayed in a hotel that was four stars after that didn’t even give me as good of services here. The only awkward part is the co gender bathroom. There was even a family staying here with kids for some reason but thankfully they were not bothersome with noise. Close to MRT and plenty of food. Complimentary simple continental breakfast was a nice surprise too.

Accomodating staff, Very helpful and approachable. The place is near MRT (its a plus) and can rest well. Free breakfast and laundry! Good job!

It’s a standard backpackers hostel. They have washing machines, towels, and breakfast. The place is nice and cosy and less than 5 mins walk away from the MRT.

Excellent accommodation, friendly staff and check in was smooth and quick, it's just right next to the train station which is a plus and it has a lot of restaurants around, highly recommended!!!

Extremely noisy! You can clearly hear the motorbikes from the street, the doors opening and closing next door, and even the upstairs bed creaking. It's impossible to get any sleep. Plus, the bathroom was full of small bugs, which was absolutely disgusting!

The capsule doesn't have a door, just a curtain...if other guests are noisy you are not going to sleep.
The ventilation fan in the capsule was minimal even at maximum power, it was really hot.

take only the fried food. the steam one like siew mai and har gau are terrible and sub par quality. however you should enjoy the fried food well.

Unfortunately, this was not as good as our previous visits.
We ordered the usual suspects - siew mai, har kow, cheong fun with char siu, fried wontons, black carrot cake, chicken feet, glutinous rice in lotus leaf and pork and century egg porridge.
The deep fried wontons were good though definitely smaller, while the skins of the har kows and cheong fun were very thick and gooey. The congee was almost as thick as dried oatmeal, though there were quite a number of meatballs in there. The glutinous rice was a tad cold.
The meal cost @$35.

This is a place you look for good non-halal Chinese food such as steam buns with fillings, Chinese dumplings which is usually consumed during the dragon boat festivals, Cantonese style congee with pork, chicken or century egg, plus many more.
Nearest subway train station is Aljunied.
The downside is that after the owner renovated the whole coffee shop into a café-like environment, they seal up all entrance openings with transparent plastic materials leaving only the main entrance BUT there is no aircon, just ceiling fans. This makes the place hot and stuffy making dine in experience uncomfortable even during evening time.

Good with some dishes that are quite rare. Prices are reasonable. Can get quite busy. Try their char kway teow. Big portion for $5. Enough for 2 pax to share

Great food! Reminds me of the great local restaurant that I ate at growing up. Great classic dishes from malaysia cooked to perfection. Salted egg anything here is amazing.
