I had a pleasant stay at PARKROYAL on Beach Road. The location is excellent, with plenty of food options nearby, making it very convenient to explore the area. The staff were friendly and consistently provided good service throughout my stay.

The room was clean, and I also appreciated the hotel’s environmentally friendly efforts.

It was a comfortable stay with great service and a fantastic location—just something to note in terms of accessibility.

I never write reviews, but I was really satisfied this time. I'm a light sleeper, and the front desk immediately gave me a quiet room on the 7th floor, which ensured I got a good night's sleep. It felt great. I'll definitely book this hotel again next time.

Cleanliness: Very clean.
Facilities: A bit old but generally functional. Most amenities like a fridge, coffee machine, hot water kettle, hairdryer, and iron are available.
Environment: Very close to the subway, a 5-minute walk.
Service: Very attentive. Breakfast isn't recommended, as there's a food street right across the way with much cheaper options.

Very comfortable, great location, excellent dining service. The hotel lobby has an elegant and grand design style. The rooms are clean, tidy, spacious, bright, and well-equipped. The staff are very friendly and enthusiastic.

This was my second stay here, the last time was early 2020 during the pandemic. It's been renovated since then, and the rooms are a good size with a very clever layout. The shower pressure is fantastic, even better than the hotels I've stayed at on Orchard Road. The cleaning staff are very polite and do an excellent job. I even took one of the hotel's yoga classes! Definitely don't miss the dragon and lion dance performance during Chinese New Year! I'll be back again!

Decent place to stay. Clean and a very nice gym and good service by the people. Was given a room on 3rd floor corner with no nice views so had to go to the 4th floor pool area for that view. So do take note that yhere is a chance for a room with a view of the corner carpark entrance/road. There is a small “mall” behind called the plaza but it’s kind of dead with one or two restaurants. Nearest mrt station is either nicoll highway mrt on the circle line or you walk longer to bugis or lavender mrt.

Overall, a comfortable stay.

Great value for money! The room was quite spacious, and I really couldn't find any major downsides. The location is super convenient – just one bus stop, about a 10-15 minute ride, to the stadium to catch the WTT. Plus, there are plenty of dining options right across the street, making it quick and easy to grab a bite.

The location is super convenient, with a bus stop right downstairs, making it easy to get around. The lobby has lots of comfy sofas and is decorated very warmly. The front desk staff aren't Chinese, so you'll need to communicate in English. The room is quite spacious and gets cleaned daily, but it did have a slight odor. The toiletries are an Australian brand and smell really nice.

This hotel is located by the sea, near the Ferris wheel, but the 'city view' rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors have absolutely no view whatsoever. I'm shocked they even sell such a run-down, obstructed room with zero scenery. Just look at the window picture – no sunlight all day! And despite my request to avoid corner rooms, they gave me one almost at the end of the corridor. The fire escape door at the end is often left open, with staff and cleaning carts constantly in the hallway, making it feel very unsafe and noisy.

To make matters worse, every two hours there's a deafening water pumping noise that lasts for about fifteen minutes. When I asked a staff member to investigate and requested a room change, their response was that 'no other guests have ever complained.' Is 'no one else complained' a valid reason not to solve a problem? Clearly, this is machine noise from the equipment floor on the second level, yet the hotel shows no concern and uses that as an excuse.

Even more infuriating, I had to check out a day early due to an emergency. They refused to refund a single penny for both rooms, insisting I pay the full price even though I wouldn't be staying. Ctrip tried to mediate for ages with no progress. When I went to the front desk myself, the receptionist, Allen, had an absolutely terrible attitude. Not only did he offer no solutions, but he kept asking me why I needed a solution. Shouldn't paying for a room you don't stay in be something that needs a solution? I was so exasperated I almost laughed, and he just kept shaking his head.

The breakfast was decent, but it was incredibly crowded. When all the seats were taken, a hostess would help seat people. However, she clearly prioritized white guests. When I went to eat alone, she actually asked two white people already seated at a long table (a ten-person communal table) if they wanted to share it with me. It's a communal table, why even ask? She only stopped after I challenged her.

Overall, this hotel stay was a complete disaster. For 2000 per room per night, I received service worse than a budget hotel and an incredibly overbearing attitude. I strongly do not recommend it.

The service is very bad, not worth coming.
Such as we need Mocha to be served, and have to remind the staff three times. While we were still eating, the staff took away our soup.
