Hotel 81 Palace in Singapore

We checked in on New Year's Eve, and for only S$80, it was incredible value for money. The restaurants downstairs were still open at night, so we got to enjoy some local specialties.

As always is pleasing and pleasant weekend staycation with world wide hotel 🏨✍️🌸

Good location at Geylang, need ~12min walk from Aljunied MRT. A lot of food and phone shops near hotel. Clean and quite spacious, can put luggage under the bed. No slippers provided. Inside the toilet has filtered water for drinking. Daily room cleaning and daily new toothbrush set.
Got 2 free Sentosa Discovery Choice pass, which valid till 31 Mar 2026.

The air conditioning in the room was excellent, and the water temperature and pressure were great. I overslept in the morning, and Ainee and Korin were very thoughtful, allowing me to check out an hour later. They spoke entirely in Chinese, making me feel as comfortable and at ease as if I were back home.

Stayed at this budget hotel for a short trip and it was worth the price. The room was clean, air-conditioning worked well, and check-in was smooth. Basic facilities are provided, suitable for travelers who just need a comfortable place to rest. Location is convenient with shops and food nearby. Overall, a good budget-friendly option.

It's all good, except for the terrible soundproofing.

2nd time stay here. Aircon is cold..but no body foam and shampoo. Do not know if can get extra pillow, did not try to ask.

I had a comfortable stay at Hotel 81 Palace. The room was clean and cozy, and although the blanket was a bit stiff, everything else was well-maintained. The hotel itself is very clean, and the service from check-in to check-out was genuinely 5/5. The receptionist was also considerate and allowed me to check out a little later, which I really appreciate.

However, the location may not be the most convenient for those who want to explore the city. For solo female travellers, it’s good to stay alert as the surrounding area can feel a bit intimidating. There were some men standing around outside, but they did not disturb anyone. There are also some adult-related activities in the area, but this is outside the hotel and not related to the hotel’s service.

Overall, the hotel itself was great, and I’m honestly satisfied with my stay.

We enjoyed our night together. Unfortunately, we can hear loud noises coming from people outside.

A nice place to stay. I was hesitated to stay here, but in reality it is so safe. Moreover for girls travelling in group. Bedrooms are not too big, just OK for 2 people. Newly-renovated building. Kind staffs. Easy access to bus stop and quick bites.
