Good location , easy to go anywhere . Happening at night time also

Location wise is good however some hotel amenities are not available also no coffee tea provided which is common and typical to most of the hotels. Bldg seems old and there's a weird sound on the elevator.

Hotel Chancellor at Orchard Road offers a convenient location with good reception service, but the room conditions and some customer service issues impacted the overall experience.

The check-in process was smooth, and the staff confirmed that we received good rooms. However, during our one-week stay, the rooms consistently smelled of dust, which was particularly troublesome for allergies. The main sources of dust seemed to be the curtains and carpets, which felt neglected in cleaning.

The bathroom, while small, was well designed to avoid water splashing outside the shower area, and the showerhead provided a satisfactory experience. Room service was very good and responsive throughout our stay.

One notable issue was a booking mix-up. Despite having made the booking in part, it was not properly recorded. Since we were away and had traveled far, our 16-year-old child had to resolve the issue by showing proof of our prior check-in, which was inconvenient and frustrating.

An odd aspect was a water filter fixed to the wall in the room, which gave off a somewhat institutional or elderly home vibe. The coffee and tea packets provided were disappointing and not reliable for a decent morning drink.

On the positive side, the hotel's location on Orchard Road is excellent, just a 10-minute walk to Dhoby Ghaut or Somerset MRT stations, making it very convenient for getting around Singapore.

Overall, Hotel Chancellor offers good service and location but could improve cleanliness and booking management to enhance the guest experience.
