The hotel lobby was bad and the reception was very bad. The rooms were a scam for us because they did not look like the pictures shown and were unclean and the hotel smelled like a dead body. Excellent location, but to use soap, which was used by you... and most importantly, bring extra batteries. Sockets in the room! The phone is loaded by turning off the TV, but the laptop does. And if you have a razor from the wall eats, will have to run for a single machine.

The small rooms are VERY small (think half a train sleeper), but have drawers, shelves, etc. Modern decor and a friendly hostess who treats travellers more like guests in her home than clients. This mini-hotel is small, just one floor of a building, so there aren't hundreds of people jostling for space in the bathroom.

At present this is place is still rather for insiders and frequent travellers. I use to recommend it to my friends (foreigners, non Russian speaking) if/when they travel to Moscow for the first time. Can't beat the value for money, somewhere around 900 roubles for a night. Staff is professional, english speaking. A 24/7 grocery shop is in the same building one door over. A big plus.
