What a great opportunity to actually be in a hotel that traces back to the year 1923 and still functions perfectly well with its door-less antique lift, toilet set that works just fine a century on. Palace Hotel makes me feel like a time traveler, back to the future for at least one night. A national pride for Belgrade and a tourist treasure! And oh, do not miss the wheat loaf, and so many other breads...

I enjoyed staying at Hotel Palace! It's clean and in a great location. The best thing about it is the breakfast buffet, which is delicious and has lots of choices. The hotel also provides a driver to/from the airport, which is convenient if you have a very early flight.

The room and the bathroom was neat and spacious. The breakfast was good with a wide range of food items, there was fresh vegetable salad and fruits with a choice of bakery products and cornflakes which was sufficient for vegetarians like us. I loved! A very well positioned place with the bus stop just 220 meters away which takes you directly to the center of Belgrade. The hotel is in a very good location, so I didn't even use public transport but It is very well connected to public transport, tram and bus stations are nearby. The hotel staff is very pleasant and friendly, always ready to help. The room is in ok condition, but the only complaint I have is the bathroom and the mosquitoes. For the money I paid for the room, it was more than worthwhile.

The location of hotel was good close to old city and the room was comfortable. The price was reasonable. There were not a lot of customers and the breakfast was so poor and not buffet. Also the wifi was not working at all and the shower was very small. In generally the cleaning was so so.

The hotel is well located, with a stop nearby for the A1 bus to the airport. We had some trouble checking in; we arrived at 12:00, but the receptionist wasn't there, so we had to call and wait. There was a very strong draft from the window (we stayed in January). If it's just one night, it's fine. For a longer stay, I'd recommend a different hotel.

This place has apts too. There is only about 6 hotels rooms. The woman on reception is only there from 9am - 3pm. But you can ring a number if you need anything. My my was very modern & clean. They will clean your room everyday, if you so wish, just like a hotel. It was so peaceful there. They even did my laundry there, for a fee of course. Would definately stay here again. Excellent location, clean, well-equipped room, but where we stayed a little cramped, and the soundproofing not very great. Breakfast decent average. In conclusion, the accommodation was not wow, but not the worst accommodation I have encountered. It's ok to staying for a city break

An expectation also 5 star experience just outside the city center. The nightlight of the stay was definitely the spa and pool facilities the indoor pool and saunas are world class and very well maintained.

It's a place for a budget overnight. They have an underground garage, that feels very narrow and risky to get to it. But hey, I did not scratch the car, so can you. To exit with the car is a bit of a hustle sine your only option is via Slavija roundabout, and that place is busy from 7 am till 8 pm so good luck.

Reasonable place to stay in Belgrade. The room was clean, so was the bathroom. All the announced amenities were there. I slept like a rock, there were no noises. The staff was friendly and english speaking. We can request transport to the airport ( 25 euros instead of the usual 20 for regular taxis) but the service is great. I wish they had the breakfast option.

The place is in the centre of the old city, and with prices like that, you really get a good deal. You can park here, which is a rarity in Belgrade and the parking is under surveillance. Great service and personnel, would recommend 10/10

It truly depends on what you’re looking for. For me, it was a night’s stay close to the freeway. The room was clean, the bed was ok, the pillows were soft, the a/c was working and it has limited parking for guests. Cons include lack of elevator, weak breakfast variety and it can get a little noisy depending on traffic.

Bar handles of stairs weren't steady, fridge didn't work, toilet flush button was gone, and its lid was broken. AC made noises that would wake me up. I really liked the idea of the room, but it seemed like everything was too old.

Due to a forced break I had to spend one night in Belgrade and checked in here. All good, big room, clean and price ok. Due to the street unfortunately a bit noisy at night but still recommendable.

Hotel is located just steps away from Novi Sad's pedestrianized zone, Republic Square, and Danube Park. It's about a 20 minute walk across the Danube to the fortress on the river bluff. Wonderful vistas of the Danube and Novi Sad. Hotel Putnik has a nice breakfast buffet, good wifi, ample hot water in the shower. The room was OK, but a little noisy. The room I stayed in was opposite the storage room. The waiter didn't know there were guests inside, so he opened and closed the door heavily. The audibility in the rooms of the "hotel for adults" should probably be improved. I asked to be placed in the quietest room, but as soon as I lay down to rest, the sounds of 18+ from the neighboring room were not long in coming. Not the hotel's fault, of course, I understand. They gave complimentary water on the first day, no more refills after that, perhaps its because I didn't ask for refills or perhaps it's only complimentary for the first day. It is very close to Airport City, so there are many business travelers. But why is the elevator so difficult to use, very slow and noisy.
