We stayed at the townhouse. I recommend this if you are a big group on a budget. It's near the subway and the shopping centers. This is not a hotel.

There’s also a 7eleven right next to the building, and you can also store your luggage there after checkout. The downside are that the space is quite limited, so it’s difficult to fully open large size luggage

I had an early flight and then a late flight so I stored my luggage at the hotel before check in and after checking out. There isn’t an elevator so if your suitcase is heavy just be prepared for that

Also, my room was on the first floor, and when I opened the bathroom window, it literally faced the street, and I could hear people talking outside, so keep that in mind for privacy :)

I would recommend this place to solo travelers or business travelers for a short stay. It’s very convenient, with main subway line (Seoul station) within walking distance

The soundproofing is also not good. I could hear everything from other rooms but I had earplugs so it didn’t bother me much. Overall for a short trip it was good

Near to halal restaurants like kampungku and maehwa lamb skewer. Near to the subway station too. The downside is the stairs on the way to the hotel and there are no elevator inside

We were warned ahead of time about the hill nearby but it's even more than expected!! Every time you want to go anywhere on the subway, go to Myeongdong, etc, be prepared for several exhausting flights of stairs to even get to the building, let alone if your room is on a higher floor

This is a whole apartment which worked for my big group of 7ppl. We had all the necessary appliances (including washer for laundry but no dryer only air dry). The managers are very nice and accommodating people

We stayed here about three months and were satisfied. Problems with the apartment were solved quickly and the place was very clean. I do have to subtract a whole star for the location though

The underfloor heating in the smaller room wasn't very warm, but the larger room was excessively hot – as someone from the south, I couldn't handle it and had to use the AC to adjust the temperature

Bathroom is also very narrow and no bidet but the water heater temp is easily controlled. Rooms have a mini fridge, coat rack, blower, and hair iron. I enjoyed staying here for my winter trip

Heating is centralized so I requested a room with a window in case it gets too hot. There’s a weighing scale on the 4th floor and you can also borrow a luggage scale from the info desk

It's located right next to Sinchon Station, and there are many cafes nearby! A microwave and hot pot are located in the common space. A refrigerator, TV, and hair dryer are in each room.

Aside from being a strategic location, the staffs are friendly and accommodating.

I was put in a very small room that was really dirty and smelled bad. There were strange stains on the toilet paper. I wrote and asked to be moved to another room, and they did move me, for which I am very grateful

There's a simple kitchen in the hotel, no stove for cooking, but it has a microwave and water dispenser for instant noodles. The room also has a small fridge, perfect for chilling a few fruits and drinks

This is a nice and residential guesthouse in Hongdae. You have your own kitchenette and private bathroom. They will throw your trash every day and bring you new towels. The room is spacious so you don't feel boxed up

Sunnyhill Guesthouse Hondae is a very kind and convenient place. There are private toilets, washing machines, mini-kitchen and facilities in each room

Beside the park, there are lots of restaurants and shops along the park. Follow the park to watch busking performance

The studio room has everything you need for life and everyday life and the room itself is very spacious, which is rare. I really felt as warm there as at home. So I will definitely come back there again!

I will say that I did NOT have any back pain from it though. Surprisingly, considering the neighborhood, most of the nights were quiet. Now, there was at least one night where the person above me was snoring

If you are looking for a quiet place to rest, that is conveniently located near the metro and places of interest, this is the place to be! The only downside of the place is the drainage smell that exudes from the sink and bathroom drain that is too obvious to ignore

Apart from that, you are also one-minute away from the Cheonggyecheon Stream, which is highly recommended place for a stroll especially during the evening

It was cold, so I turned on the individual heating, and I slept warmly. The boiler in the room was so powerful that I sweated. ㅠㅠㅋㅋㅋㅋ The hot water was also great, with strong water pressure

Upon arriving at the hotel that day and checking in, the manager upgraded my room for free to a quiet room. Thanks to this, I was able to work quietly and get a good night's sleep

The boss is very nice, the room is clean and quiet, most of the rooms are self-service. It is very convenient to eat nearby, close to the subway and convenience store.

Service time was almost over means it wasn't over. So, technically there was no good reason to postpone assistance. Also, the towels where always smelly even the "fresh" ones

If they would get rid of the lazy workers and clean their towels better, I would have given them 5 out of 5 stars

Quite near exit 2. There's a nice and cheap Tonkatsu place in front of the hotel. There's an elevator which is rare in Seoul. Free laundry is also available. The owner is really nice.

Location wise, this hostel is about 700 meters from the nearest train station (hongik univ / hongdae station), so not too close but still walkable

The lobby is super comfortable if you want to hang out or have some drinks with your friends for a bit

Hostel Haru was a great experience. The location, facilities, and check-in/check-out process were ideal. The dorm and lounges were thoroughly cleaned every day and new towels were issued daily

The shower was hot with great pressure. It's right outside of Line 1 Jongaak station exit 4/9. It surrounded by lots of restaurants, bars and cafes. It’s also a great area to jog in the morning or evening
