Gran Oasis Resort in Playa de las Americas

We've just spent a week at the gran oasis resort in tenerife and we've had an amazing holiday. The hotel staff are amazing... The cleaners, restaurant staff, bar staff and the fabulous entertainment team.. Renata and the team are amazing with kids and fun with adults.
The new year's gala dinner was amazing... Lobster tail... Beef wellington and much more and some amazing desserts... Well done gran oasis... Keep it up and see you next year!!

Great holiday, Great hotel and the staff were amazing, literally couldn't fault the amount of effort everyone at the hotel put in over the xmas period, the rooms were spotless the whole resort was maintained and very clean, all staff were polite and there was always something to eat for everyone, the heated pools were spot on we couldn't keep the kids out! always activity to keep them entertained! Siam Park free shuttle bus daily gets you there in 10 mins, if you need a taxi to beach or centre of las Americas its under 10 euro and reception have one ready for you in under 5 mins! Thanks guys, can't wait to come back soon!

5 of us as a family have come for a week and wow what an experience, the staff have made our holiday. The foods absolutely amazing, and overall it’s beautiful. I 110% recommend! so many memories made within this hotel as well as exploring out. A huge applause for all the staff who work their hardest.
You’ll meet Shelby the kids entertainer, she’s absolutely amazing at her job there’s never a dull moment! Along side with her husband Miguel, he works the bar and again you’ll become good friends.
The restaurant staff are amazing and quick with what they do, it’s so hygienic!
Not to mention the families you meet here are impeccable ❤️

What a lovely hotel for a family. The food was was really good with great variety in themed nights and always enough ‘basics’ for the kids if they didn’t fancy oriental night! The pools are heated which makes a world of difference. It’s not too crowded, you could always get a sun lounger. Great choice of drinks on the all Inclusive as well with some decent cocktails included. It was Halloween and the hotel really went to town with decorations and entertainment. The mini disco was also great for the little ones. Rooms were clean, modern and spacious. A special mention for Marina who was an excellent lifeguard by the kids pool. Marina played games and kept them entertained and safe. Free bus to the beach was easy as well, we walked and it took half hour so nice to have the option. Highly recommend.

Ok, to start. We are a mature couple with lots of all-inclusive experiences. Now we stayed at this hotel 14 years ago with our two children. Has it changed much, no it hasn't, yes a few different buildings, the restaurant is slightly different, kids arcade new and snack bar. Outside of that the look and feel is the same. You might think that is a criticism, it's not, the heart of this hotel is the way it makes you feel and the staff. Were we nostalgic, yes, did it bring back good memories, 100%, and have we made more, absolutely. So a little overview, hotel it is in the middle of playa las and los cristianos, taxis are €6 either way. Supermarkets in walking distance if you need supplies. Food is plentiful and good quality, rooms are great, we were lucky and had a duplex room, lots of space. Pools and drinks all good. Now the staff, excellent, they cannot do enough for you, the cleaners, maintance, reception and restaurant. All very, very good. A few ideas, the loungers buy some new ones they are tired, additional coffee machines in the dining area would be nice Outside of that, all great. Gran Oasis team, please keep up the good work. Your hotel is a credit to you.

Group of 5 friends have just spent a fabulous week at this hotel, staff great and helpful, duplex apartment large and pool view (162) and ( 163) the steps inside are narrow and would worry if I was there with children, great air conditioning, large bathroom and well equipped kitchen. Room serviced everyday. The food was amazing couldn't fault it, always hot and plentiful, always a theme Mexican was the best! Chair scraping was loud at times! Entertainment ok, bit hit and miss! Would definitely recommend this hotel and looking forward to return in the future, thankyou Gran Oasis.

Coming back to Gran Oasis for the fifth year in a row, we still love it very much! We're always greeted with smiles, and we're extra happy to see Renate is still here! Even though the hotel is rather close to the ocean, we tend to stick around to the pool areas, which are always in excellent condition. Sun beds are plenty and it's not too crowded. A nice upgrade this year was the entertainment area which has been totally rebuilt, with a large scene and comfortable chairs/sofas. It wouldn't be a proper review without mentioning the rooms. Not that we use then very much because we really only sleep there, but they are spacious with great beds and always perfectly clean. Saving the best for the last, the food! Excellent does not cover it! We travel alot and have tried many similar family hotels, but Gran Oasis is the best! From breakfast to lunch to dinner, even though you're not hungry, you just always look forward to the food! There is one area of the hotel which we have not tried out yet, and that is the aqua land for the smallest kids. Next year we'll be back with our first grandchild and look forward to reviewing that too.

Stayed here for a short break with friends. All staff very helpful and pleasant and nice clean accommodation. Room very spacious and set on 2 levels. Pool attendant always around tidying and pool area nice and clean. Shop reasonably priced. Few niggles and room for improvement (although this did not affect our enjoyment). It sharing as a 4 the lounge top floor is used to sleep, this was fine and beds were very comfy. However there was only a flimsy net curtain, the actual curation were decorative and did not close meaning room was very light early on. We asked 3 times regarding this, only to be ignored. Broken socket in room which did not work. Broken chair on balcony which was uncomfortable. Generally had a lovely time.

We arrived at Gran Oasis with big smiles from the very friendly receptionist who manage to get us checked into our room early! All the receptionist we came across was very friendly and also gave us very good advice on what water we can and cant drink to avoid possibly getting ill, very nice touch! On the first impression the hotel was very clean and was very easy to navigate around! It has 3 pool, a small one for kids, a medium size one and also the main big pool! There was always someone going around the pool clearing, mopping and changing the bins which was nice to see! The hotel also offered pool towels which was also nice to have! The rooms The room was lovely, we entered to stairs that led downstairs to the toilet/shower and also the main room and upstairs had the kitchen, 2 single beds, both upstairs and downstairs had a balcony with seats! The beds were the most comfy beds I have ever slept in. (Better than my own). There was plenty of wardrobe space and even a cupboard to put your suitcases in. The kitchen was stocked with a toaster, utensils, pots and pans anything you would need if you were self catered. (We was all inclusive). The toilet/shower was spacious, good pressure from the shower too. Rooms got serviced each day by a cleaner, we would get new towels and our room cleaned! The food Breakfast was nice, it was the standard sausage, bacon, beans and eggs, which u could choose from omelet, fried and scrambled eggs. And a juice machine. Lunch was very good every day and different with bbq meats, fresh selection of fruits and salads, plenty of sauce selections and oils and even some foods you may not expect from your normal all inclusive! Dinner again very nice, you could not knock the food at Gran oasis as it was genuinely so nice and so different from anywhere i had been before! All deserts looked and tasted amazing too! The snack bar down near the pool was always full of a selection of chips, chicken nuggets, either a chicken or beef burger, freshly made sandwiches (very good for the kids) and also fresh fruits with sauces too! The bar Drinks selection had a wide variety, from beers, wines, prosecco, spirits, a handful of different cocktails and your normal soft drinks and even my favourite amaretto. You can order more than one drink for yourself which is always nice as you don’t have to be up and down! Would like to say a huge thank you to Cristian and Miguel as their service was amazing! The Pool Like I mentioned there is 3 pools, we only used the big main one! It had loads of space wasn’t ever freezing cold but it’s worth to mention it is a salt water pool but not disgusting if u do accidentally jump in and get some in your mouth! Entertainment We never went to the evening entertainment but not to say it didn’t look good, they had mini disco for the kids followed by some sort of show, or even quiz. By the pool they did water polo throughout the day and even did a foam party one of the days. We also had an invite to a darts
