Hotel Amoros in Cala Ratjada

Booked a weekend away with my girlfriends, not expecting much for the price we paid, but although the hotel is quite dated, it is very clean and had all we needed, decent beds,showers, and plenty of mirrors in rooms for getting ready. We were half board, and although food not excellent it was ok. We found it catered to the majority of the rest of clients, which were German. We were the only English people in the hotel, infact hardly any English in the whole of cala rajadada, but again not a problem, we were made to feel welcome.

The hotel is situated a stones throw from the main ***** which is great. Rooms lovely and spacious. We had B&B good choice of continental breakfast. Plus egg station where chef will cook you eggs how you want and offers bacon. Grounds around pool nicely kept and always a sunlounger available. 2 small pools but ample space as not many sunbathed while we stayed. Some of the rooms are street view which unfortunatley is not very pretty. We also stayed above where the bins were kept on the street below so the binmen woke us daily anytime between 1&3am. The resort of Cala Rajada is mostly for Germans. If your going expecting a full English you wont find one in resort.

This is such a wonderful family-run hotel, theoretically a 3 star but has the vibe of a 5 star hotel. I am so glad that we picked this one for our Mallorca holiday this year. The food is great, the rooms are great, the location is central with three beautiful beaches on a walking distance from here, the pool area at the hotel is so relaxing and inviting, and the service is amazing. Special shout-out to Lea at the bar and Lisabeth on the reception, they went above and beyond to make us feel like home. We had such a great 10 days here

The real area that could be improved is the food on offer for the evening meal as we found this quite bland and we had to eat out despite having paid for half board .

Our first visit to Mallorca...encouraged by our younger son, who was staying at his regular rental in Cala Mesquida...he said we would love it here...so we said we'd join him and his wife for a few days...He was right. We thought the hotel was an absolute gem. Fantastic value, relaxed, cosmopolitan and immaculately clean, We booked five nights, and the hotel experience seemed to get better each day. Marvellous bar, cocktails, cold beers, freshly squeezed orange juice...and we really enjoyed breakfast..amazing choice, with huevos fritos on request! Relaxing, sitting by the beautiful pool, chatting with lovely people from all over Europe, smiles, laughter and friendliness everywhere. Poolside barbecue three days a week, fresh paella on Sunday too! Our air-conditioned room with balcony was very good, fab bathroom, comfy bed, and it was cleaned beautifully and efficiently every day. So many good qualities here, family-run, happy staff, and a sense of shared purpose throughout. We were looked after, nothing was too much trouble, everyone was delightful. We will book again. And it is true, this hotel is way above e three star standard.

This hotel was outstanding for a 3 star. It was spotlessly clean, the room was modern, the outdoor pool was lovely, as were the outdoor seating areas. Staff were all great, reception, bar , dining room , housekeeping were all really friendly and professional. There was lots of choice at breakfast with eggs / bacon/ omelettes cooked to order. We had dinner one evening and that was good too. There’s also an indoor pool and a gym, and they had live music one night. Will definitely return!

This is a lovely hotel. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. I had breakfast included but ended up eating dinner there 3 times too as it was very tasty and extremely good value. The drinks and lunches are well priced too. The room was comfortable with a decent balcony looking to the pool. My room was cleaned very well each day and in an non obtrusive way. The two pools are lovely. There's table tennis, pool and a gym. What I appreciated the most was the lack of squawking music. Everywhere you go nowadays some loud intrusive music is being played.... this is not the case in Hotel Amoros. The team here seem very focused on making sure that the guests are well looked after. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily return.

What a fantastic hotel the Amoros is ❤ Very friendly, helpful and welcoming staff, nothing was too much trouble. The place is immaculately clean, with an outdoor pool together with a heated indoor pool, which was amazing at 32°c. Our room was perfect, beautiful modern bathroom with walk in shower and red hot on demand water. There was a big choice at breakfast to suit all tastes, from a variety of cereals, cold meats, cheeses and pastries, fresh fruit and yogurt with freshly cooked to order bacon and eggs, breakfast is excellent here. Evening meal buffet is also of a similarly high standard, we only ate in twice, as we like to try local restaurants, though both times the wide choice and quality of the dishes was brilliant. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time at the Amoros Hotel and we would highly recommend it to fellow travelers.

Oktober 2024 Der Anblick war wunderschön. Wie haben viele Fotos gemacht. Lange Strand mit feinem weißem Sand, blaues Wasser . Gut für die Familien. Es gibt 2 Cafés, 1 mit WC. The bathroom was new and big enough to take a bath. Aks for the blankets if you are cold in the night. The stuff is very friendly and professional, from cleaning woman Ana, service stuff and the receptionists. Service stuff, camareras were working smoothly and calm, and took good care of the guests. The receptionists (very friendly Marga, the others too, and also the hotel owner) would give us very useful information on the outings and maps. I also booked a pedicure and a manicure through the hotel and was very satisfied. We loved the breakfast, with a large variety of everything. The evening meals were also delicious, paella and desserts were my favourite. The hotel has a billiard, table tennis and the big screen to watch the football games. On Thursday there was a great live music concert of a young Spanish artist. The location is very central, we used the gym of the hotel for free. From the hotel you can go to different beaches or take a bus (bus stations next to the hotel) and go to a nearby weekly markets or see the caves of Canyamel. All in all good holiday and I recommend it.

Better than expected, great staff, a/c and the breakfast was top notch.
