Where to stay with kids in Majorca island

Sun beds always reserved no enforcement on this even with signs saying they would we were unable to use any of the pools for full 7 days due to this. Lifts are a nightmare often taking 15 minutes to get up or down

In the week we stayed the bed was changed once. The floor was barely ever brushed, maybe twice the whole time we stayed and was never mopped. Our toddler’s feet were constantly dirty from walking around the room

We keep our room tidy, we make the bed daily and don’t have clothes lying around, so there was no excuse to keep the floor brushed. ENTERTAINMENT We didn’t take part in any of the daytime or evening entertainment

At breakfast soya and oat milk was available for tea, coffee cereals, but the milks didn’t appear at any other time during the day, which I found a bit odd as coffee and tea facilities were available

There were lots of restaurants and bars within a 5 minute walk, so if the hotel food isn’t up to your tastes, then there’s plenty of other places to eat. CLEANLINESS The standard of cleanliness in our room was subpar

The entertainment staff worked their socks off! They were amazing with the kids (from what we could see) and there was always something going on. FINAL THOUGHTS All in all, we had a lovely holiday

Tbh, I'm shocked I came back home 😅 - this place was amazing and surrounded by an absolute paradise! Definitely going back!

Booked it again for this two night stay with my better half and it was every bit as good as I remembered

I think the room and and bathroom could have been cleaner - There was a lot of mold around the shower

Towels were changed daily if needed, and the cleaning was always done well. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice – everyone can find something to enjoy. The coffee was tasty, especially at the pool bar

We also ordered a sandwich for our child at the pool bar – it was fresh, delicious, and the portion was huge 😁

Bonus tip: On the day of departure, you can leave your luggage in the storage room and still enjoy a few more hours at the beach. There’s even a shower near the pool where you can freshen up before leaving

From the reception desk we were warmly welcomed, and when we asked to replace the baby cot (as our son is already grown up), they reacted instantly and with a smile

Nice place for families with kids Great place for families , clean and lots of pool areas. Close to the sea. Easy access and food was good. Somewhat noisy in the buffee area but it was ok after all.

A Second Home – Thanks to the Staff ❤️ We’ve spent our summers at SeaClub Alcudia Mediterranean Resort for over twelve years – and that alone probably says a lot

Over the years, we’ve gotten to know many of the staff, and they always greet us with a smile, a “welcome back,” and a feeling that we belong there

But what truly makes this hotel so special isn’t just the beautiful surroundings, the lush gardens, or the short walk to the beach

They are trying really hard to keep it going but unfortunately for us we will not go back! It is TOO crowded. The food in the buffet is not good. Beds were uncomfortable ( for us )

Food is brilliant too with a good mixture at breakfast,lunch and dinner!! Entertainment for children is good throughout the day and evening too! All the staff are very friendly and polite! I would recommend this resort to anyone!!

The property has many hills and steps, so it’s not ideal for those with mobility issues. The main pool is shallow and suitable for children, while a small pool further uphill is too short for proper swimming

Noise from neighboring rooms carried easily, especially from families with children. The Magnus suites are newer and more comfortable

During the last two days, Spanish families arrived for Halloween, and everything from food to evening entertainment was clearly tailored to them, leaving foreign tourists somewhat overlooked

Evening entertainment included two low-key acrobatic acts. Paguera itself is lovely, and the beach was a highlight. The hotel offers a free shuttle to town with excellent drivers

As it was Halloween , the hotel decorations and cakes for children were great. The evening entertainment was first rate performance. The alcohol certainly wasn't watered down

Pool and area could do with a little bit more attention and sun beds washed down. Good they have life guards, some of them seemed awake

The rooms were very clean, although the bed wasn't comfy. Staff were very friendly and made our stay very welcoming

Loads of amnenities, pool tables, air hockey table tennis, huge swimming pool and of course the hotel is perfectly located right on a stunning beach

They go above and beyond, especially with decorating the Hotel for Halloween and keeping children entertained

Staff were very helpful also! The views were amazing ! The hotel led to the best beach with golden sands and crystal clear waters. The restaurant had a great choice of food and drinks. Although, we didn't see any tea

Good hotel for family with kids because there were nonstop events until post 10pm so it’s quite loud and noisy. The bed was not very comfortable-it’s too soft and squeaky and not giving much support for my back

We made good use of the excellent gym facilities and enjoyed lovely walks along the beach. The pool area is also very nice. We were bed and breakfast only, but the breakfast offerings were superb

The breakfast was great, very delicious and healthy and all the fruits were super fresh and sweet and juicy

We found the gardens and outside spaces excellent no problems getting sunbeds and the pools were very good, also the room service was excellent cleaned everyday to a high standard

Cocktails are great depending on who makes them again no consistency , as with the food no where near 5 star a lot was barely warm and very poor combinations

Instead of the All Inclusive we did the Half Board which provides access to the morning and evening buffet in the big dining hall. You could never imagine the quantity and variety of food served here

The Saloon Bar did feel like a crèche in the evening with children racing around despite the child related activities (ages 3 - 6) ending at 2100. Fortunately the SkyBar tended to be more adult orientated

The staff was very friendly and attentive in all areas. It was a very nice vacation, and we would book the hotel again anytime, but the air conditioning needs to work much better in the middle of summer

Had a wonderful stay! The staff were excellent, with special mention for Libby, Daniela, Fran and Juan-Jose. The hotel is spotlessly clean, comfortable and ideally situated close to local restaurants, bars and the beach

This hotel is a 10 min stroll to the beach, but has 2 pool areas, one the traditional tile area and the second a huge grassed area with lots of trees for shade, if you want it, and lots of space so you’re not on top of everyone

There are lots of hotels much closer to the beach but their pools tend to be much smaller, more cramped. This is the sort of place I’ll go to if I’m traveling alone as it feels safe

That said we enjoyed the hotel’s bars and dining facilities too. The quality of the fresh food was good and seemed to cover all dietary choices

The food trucks are included in the all inclusive price. There is also a lovely park with a crepe and ice cream parlour included as well

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Iberostar Waves Alcudia Park! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations

Had floatie toys that were donated to the resort available to the guests. Pool chairs got taken really quick. Food options are good but only the buffet and the BBQ restaurant available

The hotel is beautifully maintained, with great facilities, a fantastic location, and a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel relaxed right away

I didn't hear any children inside the room, but it was quite lively at breakfast! If you'd like to relax a little more, I recommend an adult hotel. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, and the fruit was delicious

One thing that surprised me was the large number of families with small children

There was something for each member of the family to enjoy and had lot of fun. Just that beds keep moving apart 😀 And beach was 7 to 8 minutes walk, since we were walking in and out with 3yr old

I had booked another hotel in Mallorca, but there was a problem so I quickly booked this hotel instead

I booked with just 10 minutes' notice, but they were happy to accommodate! I was lucky to get a corner room on a high floor, with a fantastic view of the mountains and ocean from the balcony

The 6 Pools are the best things this hotel has to offer we all enjoy them. The beach is less than a 2 minute walk round the back of the hotel. Some staff are friendly certainly not all

Excellent hotel overall for families with young children. The Zafiro Tropic provides a great mix of well sized rooms, good quality buffet meals, a range of pools and other activities, including a well run kids club

Excellent location, 5 min from the beach and shops/restaurants/bars. We were there with our 2 year old, and extended family and the staff couldn’t do enough for you the whole trip. Rooms were spacious and kept very clean

We had a pool view apartment which was very well equipped with everything you could need and a very good shower and super comfy bed

The only thing a family might fault is the large groups of triathletes using the hotel for training camps who dominate the vibe

We stayed in a penthouse room with a hot tub on the roof terrace. Room was clean and a great size with all the necessary facilities. Despite being out of season we used the outdoor area and hot tub everyday

We had a great week staying at the Zafiro Tropic, especially as we got a great deal on the price. The hotel is well located , not too far from the beach and port area

This resort is great if you have young children. There is really nothing for adults to do. The evening show, pool setup and outdoor activities are all geared to kids

I only stayed for 3 days, but would have been bored if I stayed for a week. There are excursions off the resort and a small town and beach nearby to walk to, but we did those in one day

However you must remember that during the holiday period there are a lot of families with children, so for some people, it can be a little bit annoying

Firstly there’s some great points to this hotel - the location, splash park and mini golf are amazing and there’s plenty to do for everyone. We upgraded our ‘family’ room for 300 euros

Honestly, I’m unsure how they can say this is a family room as it’s just two double beds together with no floor space or room to even get ready or store suitcases

Pros: Very comfy bed, courtesy room on check out day (private shower room) perfect for late flights home, good location. Cons: Reception is so slow, all the staff were new and didnt know what they were doing

Bed uncomfortable,saving grace is they are always cleaning so it's spotless. Worst of all was all inclusive hated the canteen looking restaurant and noise is on another level in there,food was tepid at best

Told reception but no security in the hotel and no one came. Opening the pool at 10am is silly. It’s a nice enough hotel, nice enough staff but we’ve outgrown it as a family

Just got back yesterday from this hotel. I was very disappointed that no lilos were aloud in pool which it didn’t state on the website, however they would allow the noodle floats, so made do with one of them

We have been at Viva Sunrise for 10 days. It's our third trip and we loved it as much as always. It's always the hotel we use as a benchmark for our best holiday and it always wins

I have been here for the second time. It is very good service here and the food is very good

The hotel room had everything we needed, the hotel pools were great for the kids, the hotel communal areas were spotlessly clean and the food selection was good. Plenty to do in Alcudia outside the hotel also

The staff are some of the best I've had the pleasure of meeting, everyone so friendly and helpful. All the animation staff too. We'll definitely be back in the near future

We spent a week here at the end of October (last week of the season). It is a fabulous hotel, lovely rooms, lovely pools and beautiful dining and communal areas

Playa Mar and Spa is a perfect destination for a family with young children with so much to do both within the hotel and outside in Polenca

Freddie and Angela run a tight and well organised ship and the experience is first class. The pools are good for both adults and children and again, spotless each day

We stayed for a week for October half term with several generations of family, including young grandchildren Firstly the staff, with the exception of one man, were friendly and helpful

Mixed feelings about this hotel - the pool area was nice and our child thoroughly enjoyed it. The location of the hotel was also great with only a few minutes walk to the bay

The entertainment team, headed by Paul, Andrea, Sami and Steffen are excellent and really put their hearts and souls into the disco and other events. Our children loved these events

Surrounding the hotel is the glorious pine walk which leads to the port town with lovely sandy beaches and sea that is warm and easy to swim or paddleboard in

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, today and pleasant. The food was superb a the pool experience was superb. Great bike storage facility too. Booking to go again.

I definitely recommend a pool view - the balcony was a suntrap but it was noisier in the evenings due to the entertainment and stage (luckily it didn’t bother us as our kids are deep sleepers!)

We travelled as a family of four (8 year old and 2 year old daughters) and the one bed apartment was excellent - a kitchenette area with a microwave and fridge was a real added bonus for us

We have just returned from a short stay (4 nights) and we loved every minute. We got a real bargain and we were blown away by the quality of the drinks and choice of food for the price we paid
