Nice hotel with good amenities
Solid hotel with 3 pools and good amenities (gym, sauna, mini golf) but rooms are a bit tired and cleanliness could be improved.

Great location. The customer service was friendly. The chefs were great. Lovely food and atmosphere.

A week of walking from this wonderful hotel. The walking guide was fun, knowledgeable and went with the groups pace.
The food was fabulous, such choice. There were 16 of us, with 2 vegetarians. All who enjoyed the variety and quality.
The cleanliness of all the hotel was superb.
Weather to good to use the spa, but it looked very nice and spacious.

Great location of the hotel. The rooms are all very different. I was in the annex near the indoor pool and was very satisfied. The spa area is great, the food is incredibly varied and of very good quality. I also liked the evening entertainment. Drink prices (incredibly delicious cocktails) were reasonable. Highly recommended!

We were there mid-May, as part of a walking group. Both the hotel and the resort were fairly quiet, which wasn't a bad thing. We were in a 'standard' double room, with a balcony overlooking the pool - the room was clean, spacious and nicely furnished (comfortable beds and lots of coat-hangars!), air-conditioning and a small fridge A nice bathroom with a bath+shower. No tea-making facilities, however, so take your own kettle. The staff were very pleasant and spoke enough English (excellent English at Reception) although German is very much the second language here (third, if you distinguish between Mallorcian and Castillian Spanish ...). The restaurant provided a choice of indoor or outdoor dining, and there was a good choice of nicely prepared food at breakfast and dinner. The outdoor pools were unheated, which was okay in mid-May. The indoor pool in the spa area was heated - nice to relax in but not suitable for serious swimming. Didn't try the table-tennis or mini-golf, although others in our party did, and enjoyed them. The resort very much caters for German tourists, so if you are looking for authentic Majorca (does it exist any more?) or Spain then you may be disappointed. Would I be happy to go back to the Bella Playa? Yes.

I thought I should write a review as there weren't many when I was looking to book. I chose the Bella Playa because it was a reasonable price for our family of 5 on half board basis and it boasted an indoor heated pool, games room, tennis court and mini golf. Room: we have one normal double and one superior plus. The double is a bit run down, in particular the bathroom. It's in a separate building than our superior room. A good view of the pools from the balcony but half the building looks at the run down mini golf. Our superior double plus is very good. Spacious, well equipped and plenty of room for 4. No bath and no shaver socket the only downside. If you wanted to watch the TV you've little choice of channel. Food: good quality food for both breakfast and dinner. Can't think what else you would want for breakfast and the outside eating overlooking the sea is lovely. The dinner is meat, fish, veg and potatoes with lots of salad options and always a pasta option. I would say its very German in style. There's lots of fruit and cheese too and the desserts have always been really good too. Ice cream options normally 4 flavours a night. Pool: can't swim in any of the 3 outdoor pools at this time of the year as they are not heated. They are missing a trick because it would be very easy to heat one and put it under cover. Indoor pool is over 18 only and not advertised as such. My children have gone in as reception said noone really cares but I wouldn't have let them in as smaller kids. If you are looking for a family friendly heated pool, this is not the place for you. Other facilities: no idea how you use the tennis courts but there's always some serious players on the courts and lessons. The mini golf doesn't have clubs or balls so bit useless. The pool table you need 1 euro coins. Table tennis bat's and balls are provided but sometimes balls disappear. I bought my own. I haven't seen any of the advertised yoga, archery etc. And bike hire is off site not on site like implied. Location: I love the location. The beach is 5 mins walk away and absolutely beautiful. If you want the hustle and bustle there's more restaurants and bars 5-15 mins walk away. It was almost 1 hour drive from the airport though. Language: 90% plus around the area are German. The shops speak to you in German. The menus are in Spanish/German/English. Doesn't bother me but if you have no Spanish or German skills then you may struggle. Hotel staff mainly speak German too. Entertainment: there isn't really any and its in German! Maybe more in the summer. It would be a great hotel in the summer with the pools and the pool bar. I don't know how busy it would be but there aren't many sunbeds out now but it's very quiet. I would say it's got a much older demographic - age 50+ and maybe some organised holiday groups by the look of it. Hardly any families and kids. It's a good secure location for the kids though. Beautiful clean hotel, four lovely clean pools, sauna, mini golf, tennis and indoor games. Food was buffet style to a very high standard. My room was superior double. Two queen sized beds and bed settee. Large bathrooms with bath and shower over. No tea making facilities but if you forget your kettle you can hire one. Just across the road from main beach and easy twenty minute walk into town. Town itself is lovely and has plenty of bars, restaurants, shops. Some nice walks in your doorstep. The resort mainly caters for older Germans. Very few English when we went. Don’t think the website reflects what a cracker this hotel is.

Very large hotel outside the center but reachable with a 10 minute walk. We were in a superior room with a large terrace on the second floor, large room with bathroom with 2 sinks, very large shower and separate toilet. Excellent cleanliness throughout the hotel. There are 3 swimming pools with sun loungers and umbrellas and hot tubs. The Cala Agulla beach is not far away. Breakfast and dinner for international customers. Safe and minibar in the room.

This is a great hotel with amazing staff always helpful and cheerful. The rooms vary in quality which is a shame as I’ve stayed in most parts of the hotel now. As I’m there for work the bands can be a bit loud but hey, most people are there on holiday so I’m fine with it. Foods great and facilities brilliant
