Fantastic hotel in Javea

Very expansive for very small piece of fish and meat. They asked €60 for a kwart of a turbut and €39 for a small pig leg. Not worth

Disappointed, I read the reviews, parked in the harbour and ubered to the restaurant. Slow service initially followed by a guacomole starter shared with my wife, it was ok. Followed by a main course of lamb, corderos en cous cous it was fatty, chewy, tasteless and watery, left some chewy fatty bits. My family had other delights that left a lot to be desired, 5 of us, decided to avoid the desserts as they only ha three of the five and left quietly with a 320 euro bill and an unsatisfactory feeling. We ubered back to the boat and collected pizzas on the way back. Overall I cannot recommend this establishment.

Our recent stay was made truly memorable by the outstanding service of the team. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth and friendly staff. The check-in process was seamless, and the staff took the time to explain all the amenities and local attractions. The reception team was consistently helpful to assist with any of our requests.

Thanks again!

UPDATE – in response to the hotel’s reply:
I’m adding this because their response is full of fiction and denial. None of what they claimed actually happened—and I’m honestly shocked. They didn’t even try to understand the real issue: it wasn’t about coffee or rooms, but their careless, blank-faced, zero-effort attitude. Smiling like a robot is not hospitality.

What’s even more surprising is the claim that we were disrespectful. We barely interacted with staff beyond their initial rude responses—and even then, we stayed calm while they argued with us. Where exactly was the disrespect?

Please stop blaming guests and inventing stories. That won’t fix your reputation.

I have no idea what “suite upgrade” they’re referring to—it was never mentioned. And no, you don’t get points for eventually serving coffee after four reminders. Don’t act like you rolled out a red carpet—we were barely acknowledged.

Their reply only confirmed how fake and unprofessional this management is. I stand by every word—and now, even more: AVOID.

We stayed 3 nights at Ritual de Terra over Easter. We came here for peace, nature, and a little bit of relax time during holidays. What we got was… a lesson in patience limits and lowering expectations at cost of a premium hotel at high season pricing.

At check-in, we were told we might need to change rooms because our booking was split. But don’t worry! The receptionist (young, sweet, and very confident) offered us an upgrade for the second night. 40 minutes later, we went back to say, “Sure, we’d love the upgrade” Suddenly the story changed: “Actually, it’s not available anymore. Also, you’ll need to pay extra.” We insisted, she said that she´ll check with her manager and tell us. When we returned from our dinner and found her to get news, she told us « Oh actually, I misread the screen and you never had an upgrade possibility, just forget that I said it.” .. So basically, welcome to your holiday… and your first argument!

Breakfast? Even better. We asked for coffee. Then we asked again. And again. And again. Four times total. We watched other guests get cappuccinos, matcha lattes, unicorn dust.. Still no coffee for us. When I finally went to the bar myself, the waitress got annoyed and said, “I do understand what coffee is. Its coming. ” Great! So… where is it? The funny thing is that, we heard her ordering our coffees to the barista only at that moment :) Stay tight, cuz later she didn't hesitate to teach us about how to complain at the reception if we wanted faster service -so that they could hire more staff to help her- while cleaning the table of breakfast we already finished after our 45 minute of waiting with zero drop of coffee.

On top of all, at checkout, the more senior receptionist Sara—who already knew about our complaints since Day 1 - didn’t even ask the classic “How was your stay?” Seriously they don’t care. We had talked to her, face-to-face, about the whole “staff vs. guest debate championship” that made us really uncomfortable. I had also sent a complain email after the breakfast, because their staff was trying to win over the dissussions instead of helping for the 2nd time. I mean, they had 2.5 days to show even the tiniest bit of care. Spoiler: they didn’t.

We paid €350.20 for a €349.27 bill thinking that it would help the change round up to €1 or €95 -you know, to ease the process with coins. She gave €0.90 back. Not €0.93 or €1. How silly of me to expect such a thing. Of course, there was no “sorry we don’t have coins,” but just a blank stare. Apparently that 3 cents change was the final straw holding the hotel together. It is nothing in a normal day but what I try to highlight here is the lack of politeness, hospitality, service care-what ever you call it.

The hotel looks pretty. But beneath the natural tones and wellness slogans, the vibe is more: “We’re not here to serve you, you should be grateful we exist.” If you enjoy weird energy, passive aggression, and DIY hospitality, this might be your place.

Fantastic place to relax! Friendly staff. Beautiful breakfast!

Upon arriving at this charming hotel, nestled in a beautiful residential area, we were struck by its inviting surroundings. The staff greeted us warmly, though service felt a bit distant at times, as we had to inquire about several details on our own.

The room itself was spacious but showed signs of age, which stood out given that this is a spa hotel. Essential amenities like bathrobes, slippers, and pool towels were noticeably missing, and unfortunately, the air conditioning in our room did not work.

Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a pleasant experience, with attentive service and a well-prepared meal, though the menu offered only a limited selection.

In summary, this hotel has potential, but could benefit from some updates and improvements, particularly during the low season, to enhance the guest experience.

I needed some time on my own to relax and took myself to the Spa on a quiet Thursday. Daisy attended to me and was welcoming, lovely, and attended to anything I needed with a smile. It's wonderful to experience the hot tub, steam room, and sauna in a beautiful and tranquil location. I will be back!
