No air conditioning. Rooms clean, breakfast lovely and plenty choice great location but air con not on until May!! No good when it's hot in April 🥵 room was directly facing Morgan's wouldn't been an issue, except couldn't sleep with door open because of noise but that was only downside, would however put us off staying again. (Oh and no kettle in room which was a miss)

just back from a 3 night stay with a varied age group of ladies for a hen party.Rooms a bit claustrophobic for four women 2 double beds, clean but wasn't keen on the design of the room, bathroom was small and had a frosted door which had at least an inch gap all around it, not much privacy! pool was fine, plenty of sun loungers.We went B&B and found the breakfast very good with plenty of choice although I wasn't impressed when we didnt get breakfast on our departure day as we left before 8 but I do think they could have given us something in a packed lunch, so paid 3 nights and got 2 breakfasts??.All in all a good base, clean and pleasant staff, would return for a short stay

I have visited Benidorm on a number of occasions, staying at different hotels. This year, I joined a group of friends and booked a 4-night stay at the Calypso over the Easter weekend. We had a fantastic stay and the first thing I noticed when I arrived at the Calypso was the cleanliness - it was spotless. My room was in the Annexe building, I had requested a room overlooking the Morgans Tavern area but the hotel was clearly busy and this could not he honoured. However, the annexe was absolutely fine. In the annexe, the rooms either overlook the Calypso pool, or the flash pool. A302 overlooks the Flash pool and for those who enjoy sitting on the balcony, it has plenty of sun. Again, clean room with plenty of hanging space and storage & a very powerful shower. The only thing I would change about the room would be the addition of tea & coffee making facilities, though I’m led to believe a kettle can be hired. The food choices were fresh & plentiful. The breakfast is among the best I’ve experienced with the welcomed bonus of fried bread & black pudding etc. For those who maybe don’t want the full english then there was plenty of continental options. In this hotel, as a half-board guest, you can swap your evening meal for lunch purely by just turning up at the restaurant. This was great especially when heading off for afternoon/evening drinks. I never went for the evening meal but the lunch variety was great, tasty & the desserts were stunning. Two very special members of staff made us feel extremely welcome in the restaurant. I must give a shout out to Merche & Jose. Their welcoming smile, sense of humour and attentive service was outstanding. In fact every member of staff that we encountered couldn’t have done anymore for us. To summarise - anyone looking for a reasonably priced hotel in the centre of Benidorm with great staff, fantastic food & clean rooms then I 100% recommend the Calypso. I’ll be returning.

Currently at the hotel staying for 11 days 2 days to go. On the 5th floor overlooking the road which is great for people watching you see some funny people . Location is perfect Cant fault hotel on anything. Spotless clean everywhere . Food is as good as anywhere i have stayed in benidorm and i have been to a lot the soups are great with fresh crispy croutons every day . Pool area huge loads of sunbeds no need to rush in the morning like most other hotels . Cleaner is lovely . Reception very helpful . Lifts are great no waiting . Big screen tv round pool . Loads of tables and chairs . Thanks calypso its been a pleasure

I have been to the Calypso several times now and I have never been disappointed. We got a good deal with jet2 just before the prices went through the roof. We requested a room near the lift due to some mobility issues and that is what we got This is the first time we had went full board and I am glad we did . Even though not very busy at lunch the food was fab , the same with breakfast and dinner . The rooms are basic but clean and have everything you need including a fridge and safe . One of the reasons I come back is the sunbed situation. There’s always plenty, no daft queues and if they are all filled ( as it was on Easter Saturday) they got more . Still plenty of space between them . Finally location location location . All the pubs are literally on your doorstep with the beach a 3 minute walk . What more could you ask for . The staff are all lovely as well

Wonderful holiday, first time abroad as a family and we were so pleased. The lady on reception as we arrived was so lovely and friendly and our room was ready and we could have lunch which was so wonderful after the flight/transfer. Room was bright and clean and we actually had the best sleep!!! Shower was great too. The service at the restaurant was fantastic, friendly staff very hardworking and would go out of their way to provide for you. Would book again we really loved Calypso and the location was perfect too. I liked our room being at the back as it was quiet. Food was brilliant each day something different and varied to suit different tastes and added bonus having a fridge in the room as well as a free safe and WiFi which worked very well.

Room cleaning was hit & miss, some days cleaning done, other days just towels changed.
Entertainment was poor, not much variety in the evening unless you just want ballroom dancing.
On a positive note, big thanks to Caroline who was always there to help. And Lawrence on the bar is a credit to the hotel.

we called in the terrace bar, for a drink, and looked at the drinks menu . the price for Amstel was 2 euros 80 , charged me 6.40 for 2 pints. I would not recommend this bar to anyone. photo of bill two different drinks

Couples weekend away , we stayed here for the 2nd year running as our long weekend away , and we were greeted again by pleasant reception staff again and couldn't do enough for us , room 705 was ample for the 2 of us , clean tidy and spacious , ample wardrobe space and storage space for clothes , food was as always plentiful , varied and cooked just right Thank-you servigroup and all staff we will be back again next year

Fantastic hotel and location. Reception staff lovely and helpful. Very clean throughout, daily room clean even though only stayed 3 nights. Breakfast nice, great English choice just a little salty for me.
