Great central location, right in the heart of Nerja and within easy walking distance of everything. The rooftop pool is a real highlight — a lovely space to relax with great views. The rooms are clean, comfortable and nicely finished. One small suggestion would be to add a kettle in the room, which would make the stay even better. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and a hotel we’d happily recommend.

Stayed for 4 nights last week, Pros: Absolutely excellent location Gorgeous Breakfast Spotless clean Rooftop Pool Cons: No tea or coffee making facilities in room Very little privacy in bedroom bathroom facilities Beds extremely hard Front coffee shop/bar closed for renovations As a result of above ,no real place to sit and chill Overall this hotel serves a purpose but it does what it says on the tin.

A lovely hotel, a great location right in the centre. Staff are all friendly nothing is a problem. Plenty selection at breakfast the only downside is the hot dishes aren’t hot they’re cold. But will be back

We have just come back from a stay at the Mena Plaza - attending a family wedding in the area. I can't recommend it highly enough. Affordable accommodation at an amazing location. The hotel is spotless, the staff were second to none, and we are already planning to stay there again. The Mena Cafe in the front of the hotel is fantastic - great food at great prices, and again, the staff are super. Lovely roof top swimming pool and the continental breakfast is lovely.

Great location, yards from centre. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice having a fridge in the room, but would prefer a walk in shower.

Had a great stay, even though I was a little early for check in my room was ready. The room was very nice, comfortable bed, clean and a very good AC. The pool at the rooftop was a nice area, with a bar and sun loungers. I’m not a breakfast person so I did not have the buffet (think the price was very reasonable though), but I used the option to have breakfast with a discount at the cafe adjacent to the hotel. For only 4.80 I got toast with choices of toppings, fresh orange juice and coffee. All very good! There’s a supermarket just one door down from the hotel, where you can get all basics. Last but not least, it is hard to get a better location than this in central Nerja!

Fantastic week in Hotel Mena Plaza. Room cleaned every day and fresh towels. Food and drink and service excellent despite it being busy in Cafe Bar. Sport played every night in television so could watch Tennis and Football. Hotel location is excellent and the square is lovely and also quiet at night. Second time staying here and would highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel and wonderful staff but I feel should be advertised as adults only as children didn’t feel welcome at all, frowned upon for playing in the pool and a few eye rolls and tuts from other guests if god forbid they splashed someone whilst playing

Stayed 6 nights as attended a wedding in the area. The hotel is wonderfully clean and comfortable in a central location. It has a lovely rooftop pool with a snack bar. The cafe downstairs serves extremely reasonable food and drinks. Highly recommend!!

Then, normal á la carte.
Also, saw pizza being served.
Food was good. Can't rate properly as stupidly ordered from daily 3 course menu and portion sizes were small (prob more suited to small adult or child.)
Would return, as we all liked the staff.
