Everything was fine, but I didn't expect that booking a room directly there would be more expensive. Also, when I was collecting my luggage, they didn't tell me that it had already been taken out, so I had to wait there.

The hotel has a fantastic location! It's right next to the train and bus stations, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing! There are many bus stops nearby, making it easy to get to attractions or the old town! A wide variety of supermarkets and restaurants are also nearby, perfect for satisfying your cravings! Highly recommended!

The location is convenient for taking the train to nearby places, such as Grenada. There is a large shopping mall next to the hotel and it is also a 20-minute walk to the tourist attractions. The breakfast is good and the room is comfortable. However, the towels for the swimming pool on the 8th floor need to be picked up in the basement.

Worst service I have had in my life. Ordered room service, waited for many hours, tried calling reception, no response. Visited restaurant, they said they would bring up. Visited again, they said the same again. It’s been over 3h now and I am worried about showering and going to bed in case my food arrives. Not a single apology, not a single person being nice to me through this, just arrogant and rude and clearly had no time for me. Meanwhile I am paying 300 euro for the night. I am so disappointed.

I know this is a difficult time with a storm in the city. There is nowhere that is open so nowhere else I can go for food and I am sure staff have been under strain. I would’ve understood delays and problems but I don’t understand being mean and rude

It was very convenient because it was directly connected to the station and the train stop was right outside the hotel. It has a unique design with a slide from the 1st floor to the 0th floor, but the slide's entrance faces the restaurant. The slope is steep, so my child slid down with great force, and the restaurant staff who were serving the customers were very rude. I would say they should not build slides like this.

Great hotel. We were very impressed with the efficiency of the staff, cleanliness of the room and the public areas, quality of the food and service at the breakfast. We highly recommend the Barcelo Málaga and look forward to staying there again.

Great Hotel, Friendly Staff and very Welcoming. Rooms are excellently presented and Clean.
Fantastic Location next to the train station and can get a taxi into the City Center or Marina for 6 Euros.
Only 20 minutes in a taxi from Airport.
Prices at the bar and the City as a whole are very reasonable.
Great City break. Will be returning and booking in at this Hotel.

Great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are clean, spacious and have huge comfortable beds. The breakfast has a huge range of cooked food and cereals, along with an omelette station. The hotel has a rooftop bar and pool which is a great place to chill out (or rather get sunburnt). Stayed here twice and the only slight downside is getting into the town but its only a few Euros and the taxi rank is next door, so no problems there.
