AluaSun Costa Park in Torremolinos

Took a holiday here as a family of 4 . Chose to ignore reviews as I know sometimes people can exaggerate. , however the reviews were correct . The hotel is right next to a motorway type road and is horrendously noisy . We were half board but most people were full board . If you want a lunchtime snack there’s no where to get anything as it’s all geared towards fully inclusive , you can pay extra to be fully inclusive but to be honest the food in the lunch snack bar looked like what was left over from breakfast .Evening meal isn’t until 7 pm and with a young family it was a little late . Kids “entertainment “ didn’t start until 9pm , way too late and it was the same every evening , it’s not geared towards families as stated , there’s no daytime activities and just half hour of an evening . Apart from swimming there’s nothing else to do , the kids club was closed most the time and when it was open it was bleak and in a dark room under the pool. The park had 2 apparatus both of which were dodgy and unsafe . It’s a jaunt away from anywhere too so you have to use the shuttle bus which was really useful but as there’s no where to get lunch at the hotel you really have to plan your day in advance . There’s a shop nearby that we sometimes made our own sandwiches but I can do that at home . Staff were mostly fine but some very rude , hotel was very busy and a lot of different nationalities some people rude and ignorant. Sorry to say I wouldn’t stay here again .
