We had a fantastic experience at Hotel Fénix. The adults-only atmosphere was very relaxing, and the hotel looked beautiful with all the Christmas decorations and a lovely tree. Our room was spotlessly clean and very quiet, which made for a peaceful stay.
The location is unbeatable—everything was within easy walking distance, including the train station, local shops, and the beach.
One of the highlights was the heated pool; being able to go for a swim on Christmas Eve was a real treat!
We really enjoyed the food as well. Breakfast had a great selection of both cooked items and fresh pastries, but the highlight was definitely the fresh omelettes made by the chef right in front of you—they were amazing! The Christmas Eve dinner was also a particularly nice touch that we really appreciated. A big thank you to the friendly and helpful staff who made us feel so welcome. We would definitely stay here again!

Great hotel. Location is excellent. A few minutes to the beach, town centre and to public transport, where you can get to Malaga in less than half an hour. The room was spacious and spotless. Staff were excellent. Food options at dinner and breakfast were varied and there was something for everyone. The pool area and terrace were lovely to chill and enjoy the sunshine. It was nice to see the hotel busy, even in November, which shows how popular it is. Will definitely be back.

Me and my boyfriend just got back from staying here a few days. The hotel was lovely rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable even though it was two singles pushed together. The only negative was that the air-con was on the loud side but the hotel itself was quiet (you couldn’t hear people in the rooms next door or above). We paid to have breakfast included and definitely wasn’t disappointed loads to choose from and the fresh fruit was delicious. The pool side was lovely but could have done with some low background music as the silence did make it a little uncomfortable when walking to sit on the loungers. Staff were nice enough especially the breakfast staff always greeting us with a smile and saying good morning overall great location and hotel.

Actual mattress base is very unstable as well. Unacceptable, especially for the price range.

A little gem of a hotel, in a fantastic location between the beach and the town centre. We have just had a week at the Fenix Hotel, It was great. The rooms are bright airy with very comfortable beds. The meals are varied and plentiful with a fantastic breakfast. Lovely staff. We will certainly return next year.

I usually stay here as a cheaper option than Malaga when I have a flight and have never been disappointed.
The staff is really lovely, polite, friendly and knowledgeable.
The views from the restaurant are priceless.
The hotel is really close to downtown and the metro to the airport.
The rooms are quite big and comfy. Some of the mattresses are a bit too soft, but that's a minor issue.

Stayed here from Friday 1st November 2024 for my friends Birthday. Stayed here last year same time. The hotel has a beautiful warm charm to it, which is mostly made up because of the staff their. Everyone is amazing and so friendly. The dining room was always greeted by a lovely man Jose, always happy and smiling and he remembers your name. But once again the lovely Angela on reception was their for me being as helpful & charming as she always is, a credit to the hotel. I hope the manager appreciates her positive attitude towards her job and guest and they pass on a big thank you from me and my friends. Its because of Angela and the Fenix staff that we return. The hotel is perfect for our stay, so close to the beach the main train station the shops and the Bhudda cafe/ restaurant next door with the best pancakes ever. Photos not very clear. So once again hotel Fenix, a big THANK YOU for our lovely stay xxx

We went to this restaurant as it looked nice and the one we were heading to was closed. I can bear a lot when it comes to restaurants but this place is awful: dirty plates, glasses and tablecloth. Bruscetta was weird, we were wondering if they've ever visited Italy, Pizza was okay but seemed like analogous cheese. Cannot recommend to go there.
