Great location, nice looking old building, nice old style interiors, not expensive. Quite warm inside even in cold winter. The only drawback is that the room is small, and its design is poor. I would choose again.

Highly recommend for this alone. Our room was very small - hardly room for 2 suitcases. Only outlook was into a four sided void within the building. Water slushing down pipes outside in this void was common

Good location. Close to shopping and lot of restaurants around. Antique type of decoration inside, also water available at the reception area. Good to have it as water could be expensive in some area.

The location was fantastic. It was a shame that there weren't any power outlets near the bed. The cleaning was well done, and the staff were all very helpful.

Fortunately there was a window we could open. Not the best room for sure so be careful of room choice. Bed was comfortable however and we enjoyed our stay

The front desk staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and friendly, my room was beautifully cleaned each day, and the neighborhood can't be beat - the restaurants and shops and points of interest are all there within blocks, and I spent hours exploring each day

Swimming pool is shallow and quite small but still a great feature in summer, where temperatures are almost unbearable in the city! Sun beds available as well as tables and chairs

Hotel was very clean and the staff was super nice. The bathroom was big and shower had nice pressure and always hot water. You won’t find a better location for the price in the heart of the gothic quarter

Easy to walk to arc de triomf and Barcelona Cathedral, and a few blocks from the metro to get everywhere else. They arranged a taxi ride to the airport the night before which was very nice as well

We even encountered by chance a small spice shop that roasts their own coffee, nuts, etc with the oldest working oven in Europe. A cool find just wandering the streets nearby

Convenient location next to harbor. Well run hotel that has all the services that one can need. Even parking was available. Enjoyed my stay.

Emily, Lina y Marina were exceptionally good at tending to us during our stay! The buffet breakfast restaurant was amazing! I hardly wake up to eat breakfast but I would set an alarm just to eat breakfast with them! Amazing service from the Cafe staff and delicious food!!!!

We enjoyed a one night stay prior to a cruise. It is located very close to the terminal (short taxi ride). The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was awesome.

We stayed here for a family trip. It's close to Sagrada Familia and conveniently located with easy access to other attractions via subway and bus

However, the room is very small. You can hear absolutely everything that's going on in the neighboring rooms, the hallway, and the reception area

It’s a 20min walk to the beach. Honestly, there are better beaches in other countries so don’t go just for the beach. The facilities were clean and staff friendly

5 day stay in August - location is absolute gold. It’s directly in between the medieval and gothic cities and you are a 5-10min walk from a number of cafes, restaurants, bars, museums, and shops

Our favorite part about the hotel however was their sense of humor and the unique signs and notes around the hotel and area map! Overall this was a superb experience and every staff member we interacted with was incredibly kind and friendly

We came to Barcelona for three days and stayed at this hotel for two nights. We really enjoyed the rooftop view, especially at sunset. The wine hour was also a nice touch

The breakfast buffet each day was one of the best ever experienced and they even allowed custom orders of omelets, eggs, etc. The rooftop bar, pool and views are wonderful

The pool is a little small and was always quite occupied when i was on the roof, but a great location to sit and read a book (whilst enjoying a cocktail)

Wine hour was great and we even sat and met other travelers while enjoying sangria!! I also utilized the spa services at the partner hotel next door and as a yurbban guest at either hotel, you’re given time in the water circuit no matter what service you use, which was a nice add on!! Highly recommend this stay and will absolutely stay here again!!

The breakfast was a perfect addition to our stay and had so many options to help start our day! Cappuccino/espresso machine available at all hours of the day. Water bottle refill available

If you need the bare necessities this place is great. Nothing fancy, my friend and I shared a room with two twin sized beds ans while rhw space was small it was enough for us

The service staff is very friendly, the breakfast is good, the sandwiches are delicious😋, the surrounding public transportation is convenient, and it is very close to the subway station

I will say the walls are thin and the street work is very loud but the location makes up for this

The staff members are all very kind and always smiling, which creates a pleasant atmosphere. For coffee lovers, there’s coffee available at breakfast and also a vending machine with €1 coffee available 24/7

The breakfast is quite basic, worth around €6: it includes coffee, juice, bread, a roll, butter, jams, cheese, salami, croissants, and cake. There are no eggs or any hot dishes

There was no trash bin in the room, only a small one in the bathroom. On the first day, there was no bag in it, though from the second day there was

The location is excellent — very close to La Rambla, the port, shopping areas, restaurants, and all types of public transportation

Nice area to stay in although you will need to walk a bit to get to the metro. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Only thing that bothers me might be the lack of natural sunlight and also lights in general in the room.

My husband and i loved our stay here. Its pretty much central and there so much restaurants and stores around the hotel. Lots of interesting photospots around the area, very walkable to historical areas!

We had a wonderful stay in this 3-star hotel, perfectly located in the Gothic area of Barcelona, very close to El Born and not far from the beach

However, the Gothic area, while full of history, can feel dirty and has an unpleasant smell at times, which is why I would rate the location 3 stars. The room was fine for two people, clean, and comfortable

This hotel has a atrium full of live plants hanging down from the balconies. Some of the rooms are shared baths. There are antique glass floors, Art Nouveau. They offer a free breakfast as well

Anyone who gives this hotel a bad review didn’t read the previous reviews. You literally get what you pay for: a very basic room, no facilities and a comically (but free) breakfast

However, it is extremely clean and the staff is super friendly. I loved staying there and I would definitely return or recommend it to friends. The location is a 10/10 as well

The location is super convenient, right in front of Plaça de Catalunya, which was perfect for us as we had an early morning flight and needed to catch the airport bus there

The beds are very comfortable. There is a big hall where you can say your own meals. The colors of the sun are wonderful. It’s super convenient with 24/24 reception. There are so many things to do close from the hotel

The placement is perfect !! The windows are very sound proof. The room had one or two cracked tiles and the walls a bit thin. On the plus side the reception is super helpful and recommended quite a few good places

Overnight stop in the city. Very centrally located, a few yards off La Ramblas and a Metro stop. Staff were friendly and rooms perfectly ok. Definitely stay again when in the city.

The elevator machinery noise in the room is unbearably loud. I barely can sleep all day I think it depends on whether your room is close to the elevator

This was well located in central Barcelona but it was on a quiet street. There was a basic cafe next door that served food. Nothing fancy but adequate with 10% off as a hotel guest
