Nice Hotel, very clean, near the market, walkable to metro and beach and born are, love it , area a bit sketchy at times

great service! we had some questions about the ladder to the bunker bed, the stuff named Aquiles came to our room twice to help: first time he came to show us how to set up the ladder securely when my kid was sleeping in the upper bed; after my kid woke up, he came up second time and install an extra protection bar to the upper bed

- wonderful staff (Marissa was very helpful) everyone was always smiling - very convenient location - great breakfast - clean room and comfortable rooms (serviced daily) - thanks for the umbrellas!

It is a very good hotel in the center of Gothic part of Barcelona with a private inner garden, highly recommended.

Its location is superb. 2nd stay in Barcelona. Room is old but clean. We’ll come back again.

We spoke a bit of Spanish too so language was not a problem, but some were definitely more friendly than others!! The rooms were neat and spacious, and the breakfast was standard continental, enough to start the day with energy

The hotel is very close to the station, and there's a laundromat and supermarket right nearby.

The hotel is in a great location, truly a superb location. The fact that they have their own garage was very important to us and we are sure that you cannot park a car anywhere in Barcelona for 16 euros/day

Simple but very pleasant stay in a great location. Staff were very friendly, room was compact but comfortable and with everything you need. Breakfast was excellent.

Hotel was in good location, but a bit run down. Ceiling was coming apart, and there was visible rust and moulded grout lines in the bathroom.

I had read reviews about the area being rowdy after hours and security concerns, but I never felt unsafe with my wife and daughter, as along you take precautions like in any busy city. Would recommend, would stay again

We stayed here for a week and we couldn’t recommend more! Location is perfect and a 10 minute walk from the metro and the beach is 200m away. Pool area is small but lovely and the views are great

Although it was a 15-20 minute taxi ride to some of the attractions, we enjoyed the neighborhood and strolling the streets with less concern about pickpockets as you would in the city center

Got a free upgrade for our stay. Location is its biggest advantage. There are bus stops directly down and on the opposite streets of the hotel, making it reasy to commute around the city

Marriotts are always clean, with great and professional staff that always make our stay more pleasant and the things were are used to at home are always there when we stay at Marriotts

The shopping mall next to the hotel is great as well. It has a lot of local Spanish brands, supermarket and basic necessities. Great to start with for some quick shopping

I spent a few hours at the hotel for a business reception and was very impressed. Just a few minutes outside of the city, it feels like a countryside resort. The food was truly excellent, and the variety impressive

The hotel is near 2 metro lines, with a good restaurant very close, and grocery stores nearby. We had the best free coffee ever. If I return to Barcelona, I will definitely book here again

Taxis are also plentiful and can be easily hailed from the street. Overall, I have no complaints about the hotel itself, though the location isn't ideal. However, closer to the beach, hotels are naturally more expensive

The beach is a bit far, about a 15-20 minute walk if you take your time (it's hard to rush in the heat). On the plus side, the walk to the beach is entirely shaded

It's a safe neighborhood, being a residential area with upscale housing. The metro is close by, making it convenient to visit attractions – you just need to familiarize yourself with the system

Two giant bugs found their way into the room. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Some noise issues with the windows so make sure to bring earplugs if not a sound sleeper

This is a beautiful hotel and has a super location. The room was so clean and I was given a free bottle of wine on arrival which was a lovely touch. The reception staff are so friendly

Being in the city center, it's a 10-15 minute walk or less than a 20-minute taxi ride to any famous restaurant or tourist attraction. There's also an eyewear store and the famous churros spot, Xurreria, near the hotel

The location was great, near Plaça de Catalunya and right in front of the Barcelona Cathedral. I think this is a better option than some of the awkwardly overpriced places.

If I ever come back to Barcelona, I'll definitely book the same room again. Above all, I'm really grateful to Marco and the other hotel staff for arranging a room with a direct cathedral view

The breakfast, which for our booking was "mandatory/not optional" (although with some bookings this is clearly not the case), was standard Spanish fare, although it does vary in terms of the grill options day-to-day

The Tram route is only 5-10 minutes away from the other side of Diagonal Mar shopping mall. It is about 30 minutes walk from Glories shopping mall. The rooms were clean and generally well furnished

If you want a taxi, it is worth walking halfway to Diagonal Mar mall to the one-way Street, or, all the way to the mall where there is a taxi rank near the Hilton hotel

There is a supermarket and pharmacy right next door. And the Diagonal Mar mall is less than 10 minutes walk away

The room was clean and tidy, and the hotel even has a gym. The location is also excellent, just a 15-minute walk to the Mediterranean Sea and 30 minutes to Sagrada Familia.

But rooms arent as quite as I would've like, even on the 3rd floor and i could still hear the cars driving by and trucks picking up garbage, also the bathroom had a glass door to the shower that wouldnt shut leave a gap on the seal so as you take a shower water splash to the bathroom floor

My wife and I recently stayed at the Four Points Diagonal for a week. Special attention to Markos who went above and beyond. He suggested great places to eat, also gave us great places to go

Great hôtel located in Poblenou. Lots to see on foot and easy access to all of Barcelona via great public transit. All the staff has been amazing

He hit it out of the park on everything. Four Points Sheraton Diagonal should get SIX stars. I highly recommend it for anyone goin to Barcelona

In this hotel everything is good. Clean. Pleasant staff. A decent repair. Good restaurant. Quiet location and the beach are within walking distance. The only minus-we got a room with shabby furniture.

The toilet is big and spacious. The hair dryer wasn't powerful enough and was in a weird position. The facilities are rather old, far away from the city, and the cost performance is not good enough.

There is a swimming pool on the 4th floor. The L3 subway is located underground. You can feel the vibration of the subway in the lobby on the first floor, but you can't feel it when sleeping on the upper floors

We went to the theater and stayed there, everything was perfect. The staff were very attentive, the room was large and the bed very comfortable, and breakfast was great

It is very close to the Poble Sec subway station, more than 100 meters. It is very close to the old town of the Gothic Quarter, and you can walk there. It is at the foot of Montjuic Mountain

You can climb the mountain in the morning to overlook the city and the seaside. There is a Chinese restaurant next to it. Fried rice and fried noodles are about 6 or 7 euros, which is very cost-effective

This hotel was close to everything we needed to visit while we were there, the picture is the view from our room couldn't see much but great seating area

Hotel Gotico in the Gothic district in Barcelona is such a great place! It was a great location with a very nice view with a private terrace where you could see the gothic district and hear the church bells and music but was very quiet at night! You cannot beat the price for the value! If you want to see the other sites of the city, you'll need to take the metro but I did that every day and it was so easy and cheap! I highly recommend this place for your stay in Barcelona!

We stayed in Barcelona for a few days prior to leaving on a cruise. The hotel Gotico was a perfect location for our daily adventures. The hotel room was clean a good size we had a queen size bed and twins sofa couch

When I booked the room they hadn’t yet reopened from their renovations and I’ll admit I was nervous about booking something based off of architect rendered photos but they truly represent the beauty of the hotel

The location was great. The room was very nice although I had an issue with the coffee machine. The rooftop pool and bar were probably my favorite part of the hotel and the bar stays open until 10:30pm.

Speaking to other guests,the only issue(which we all had) was the shower being very shallow so pooling water over the bathroom floor. Other than that no issues at all

The location of this hotel is truly excellent. It's very close to the subway and there are many bus stops right outside. It's just a few bus stops away from the beach. The breakfast was delicious, and the room was clean.

Windows open fully for fresh air. Air conditioning works well when needed. Definitely recommend :) If we come back to Barcelona, we will definitely stay here again
