BYPILLOW Erba in Girona

This hotel is absolutely not recommended and a waste of money. I booked this room to spend a few relaxing days in Girona with my mother. When we arrived on Tuesday evening after a long drive from Valencia, the hotel’s parking spaces were full. The young man at the reception advised us to use the parking garage across from the hotel. He said it would be cheaper for multiple nights, as you would get a discount if you stayed longer, even cheaper than the hotel’s own parking.

However, when we checked out of the garage, none of that turned out to be true — the total cost was much higher: €60 instead of the €36 the hotel receptionist had promised us. When we asked the hotel reception how this was possible, the woman on duty showed no concern and just kept repeating that she didn’t know anything about it. She didn’t even make the effort to contact her colleague who had given us the advice or to ask her manager how to resolve the situation in a way that would be satisfactory for us as guests.

The customer service at this hotel is absolutely unacceptable. On top of that, the rooms are very noisy. We specifically asked for a quiet room but were given one next to the cleaning closet, where we were disturbed every morning by the cleaning staff. So don’t go here!!
