All the staff were friendly, the pool areas were nice with a nice place area for kids. Only issue is that people were reserving sunbeds from before 8am and weren’t appearing to use them until atleast 1pm
The Hotel was amazing, staff very friendly and helpful. There were no rush to put towels on loungers as there were plenty of beds available. No long queue at the bar or at the restaurant
Check-in went smoothly, Patricia, young and professional, welcomed us. 5 Euros per day for the safe plus a 20 Euros deposit. The room was very clean, the towels were changed daily
We chose the half board option, the food options let the hotel down, very repetitive, not much choice and guests were rude, you would be queuing to use the coffee machine and people would walk right infront of you to use it next, one of the worst hotels I’ve been to for food choices, meal times were very stressful
The maids do an excellent job and leave everything clean and tidy, I caught them one day when we returned from the beach cleaning the glass wall of the shower with active foam
The only oddity at this hotel are the green cards that you have to exchange every time at the bars for the hard plastic cup in which you are given your drink

Went to report concerns over the safety of floor round pool. Got told to go away as they were busy booking a group of people in and would get someone to look at it. The 4 days we were there it didnt get looked at
The bar staff were polite and friendly. When we asked why pool bar wasnt open which it as been on previous trips told it was shut for good. Also roof top bar not open even though weather was lovely
Saying that all the staff we came a cross, were working hard and was always busy and polite. The Adult pool had black mould/algie around the edges at the bottom of the pool and behind the steps
The location is good rooms are basic but clean. This hotel is advertised as 5 star. We have been here a few times and only thing thats changed is new sun loungers and from 4 star to 5 star
The main pool near the bar is over ran with 18-30s and they were throwing chairs in the pool
The first room we was given had one plug socket which we couldnt reach and no balcony. The food was same choice every day although the food was nice. Before when we stayed they used to mix it up every other day
For the strenuous visitors, there’s a full gym, with various exercise machines, which we (thankfully!) only discovered on our last night. I can’t imagine why this wonderful hotel only warrants 3 stars
This was a great place to stay. Staff were all lovely
There was a fairly extensive drink menu for all inclusive. Food was okay (nothing to worry home about) but there was something for everyone
Entertainment was local and seemed like a lot of fun. Children all seemed to be entertained and happy. A few people taking advantage of the all inclusive drinks but that can't be helped
We went in September 2025 for our honeymoon. The hotel was very clean and modern. It is a very busy hotel, so keep in mind the queues and lack of sunbeds
It’s hard to imagine what they could possibly do better, to earn another
I would definitely recommend a visit though and I think I will be back

Why bad these high prices at a place like the W to receive such poor front desk service
I attached a picture that was about 4:10, the line was double this size an hour ago
Fabulous hotel!!!!
Staff are amazing, all really friendly and helpful- can’t do enough for you
However, the service was definitely on point, and the sea view and location were arguably the best. The gym was also a thoughtful touch, with water and towels placed on every treadmill
Rooms were really good, super clean, spacious with everything you need- hairdryer, iron, mini bar, shampoo/conditioner etc
Spa/Gym is really nice & so nice to spend some chill time there- loved it
Bars and restaurants were lovely- really good vibes, food amazing- especially breakfast and so much food!
It’s slightly out of main Barcelona- 25/30 min walk but a lovely location along the beach with...
The room amenities were as described online, though the beds looked quite old and the facilities were generally average. The lighting in the room was a bit dim
It takes them 15 minutes to check in one person and the Elite line take even longer than regular both times!

Food it's okay don't expect super high standards and one day the food is in my opinion a way better then the other day ( but no complaints). If you go 2 weeks expect the same dishes the second week, the menu won't change
That the rooms are bit out dated i agree, but I know they are busy with planning a renovation what also is really needed!!
Location is perfect it's close to the beach and shops
The surrounding area is nice though touristy, as the hotel is in a hotel zone, and has many small souvenir shops and other hotels nearby that offer evening entertainment
We visit the hotel for over 25 years now, we have seen a lot of changes. I won't say they all are positive but for us the hotel is fine
Able to pre-order for lunch time and evening meal but if not they took me around every single item to advise if I could eat it or not. All the staff in restaurant were lovely and so friendly and built a repoire with you
The animation team were absolutely fantastic. Javier and his team worked so hard entertaining everyone. They even allowed my daughter to work with them and she starred in the Michael Jackson show with them
Breakfast and dinner buffet were delicious with plenty of choices both for adults and kids. Rooms would need a bit of renovations but you are there to have fun in the park not to stay in the room
Nice hotel in many ways, theme is Wild West with country music playing all over. The only thing we were unhappy with is that the swimmingpools should be open before and after Port Aventura park opens and closes
Very nice family hotel for the visit of PortAventura. Park admission is included from the day of arrival till the day of departure, access to the park is from the hotel
If you need to get back to the hotel from Ferrari Land, then there is pathway accross the parking lot because the PortAventura is closed in the evening
Pool towels are not included in this hotel so bring your own or you'll have to fork out 25-30€ per towel at the shop
We booked gold river hotel for a week over halloween as a package with Jet2. It included unlimited access to Portaventura and 1 day at Ferrari world. After reading some of the negative reviews we were a bit apprehensive

The location is excellent, particularly the convenience of its proximity to Camp Nou, which was a nice bonus for us. The staff were incredibly helpful and genuinely nice, making us feel welcome throughout our stay
Our stay at the Grand Hyatt Barcelona was exceptional — easily one of the best five-star hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The experience was so good that we genuinely didn’t want to leave the hotel to explore the city
The room itself was a highligh, clean, very spacious, and modern. I particularly appreciated the intuitive controls for the lights and window shades; it made the room very comfortable
We booked through Chase’s “The Edit” program, which includes luxury perks like breakfast, property credits, potential upgrades, and VIP-style recognition
The location was also very convenient, with easy access to public transportation, making it easy to get around Barcelona when we did venture out
The property itself is beautiful, and the restaurants were outstanding — we made a point to try all of them, and each one exceeded expectations
We lost €75 euros on 3 meals the first day in the park, The pool facilities we're great however there a few wasps around(not overly aggressive and cant be helped)
Sleeping right inside the park is definitely part of the experience: I highly recommend it, as it's very pleasant to be able to walk to the attractions and soak up the atmosphere
The rooms, in a "small villa" style, are adequate but lack any particular charm. The very large swimming pool seems almost disproportionate, but is still pleasant
The hotel and facilities were very nice including the big pool with kids area , sand volleyball court, billiards tables, and the bars/ restaurants on property
The buffet was really samey and quite bland but its too be expected with large scale catering, we visted the park 3 days and only found out on the 2nd day that the all inclusive has QR codes for the park to claim free meals while you are in portaventure
Just back from a week at the hotel, Dont trust all the 1 star reviews, the rooms can do with some modernisation however all was clean and cleaned daily, The bathroom restocked daily, The staff we're all great and nearly everyone speaks english

Hotel was very clean inside, pool was small but nice, Room was basic but beds comfortable, food was good drink a little to strong for me but being all inclusive that was a good thing you can taste the alcohol as i’ve found this not be the case in other hotels, staff friendly & welcoming
Food was also good, we ate 3 plates every time, lot of fish, vegetables, good drinks, pizza every time. Staff in the restaurant very very helpful and nice! The hotel is not in the centre but close to beach
Every age group, from teenagers to families, old people. Overall, we had a very nice week, if you are looking for an affordable all inclusive option it is for you! Thank you ✨☀️
The only problem I had was with the Wi-Fi - it's slow and the signal is bad. It was only usable in the lobby. Staff was friendly and useful. It's a bit far and uphill from the beach but it could be worse
Second visit to this hotel. Love it close to shops and resturants. Staff very helpfull. My partner and I will look forward to returning.
Last stayed in 2022, have always gone out for the Catalan v Castleford fixture but I am returning on 6th may for my daughters first birthday, this hotel is perfect for anyone not wanting break the bank, I would ignore all the negative comments these are the kind of people who shop at Iceland and expect Mark's & Spencers

Super nice new hotel with multiple pools. Nice staff and extensive breakfast buffet. We were here for 3 days in October but are definitely planning to come back in the summer!
The hotel is beautifully designed, with a swimming pool, blue sky and sea as standard
Many locals come here for vacation! The breakfast is rich in variety, the service staff is also very enthusiastic, the room is spacious and comfortable, I will come here a few more times next time to enjoy a few more days!
The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and close to the sea, the train station, and the bus stop right across the street. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and the breakfast is a pure delight
Super top hotel. Ontbijt en diner fantastisch. Bamboo roof top bar also very good. Faciliteiten are 5*****
The hotel is very close to the station, the environment is very good, and the holiday principle is good.

Please try to add a drinking water bottle at least one per night, it will not cost much🤭and a set of tissues near the bed or the TV Unit
Bigger TV would really be a nice touch , the office underneath doesnot have a visible plug, I had to “redecorate” the room just to plug my laptop
The USB plugs near bed are a nice touch
Free wifi and parking! Near park + 2 visitor pass for stay. For breakfast you need to reserve timeslot and be sure in you do it late your breakfast timeslot will be 8:00 - 8:40. These only one sad thing for our stay
I hope my reviews help you guys improve your guest experience to earn the 4 stars and more. ##########update##################
Buffet is really nice and tasty, wide variety
Only negative points were checkin took forever and queues in parks were loooonnnng. Hotel is clean and tidy and prices for food and drink are reasonable for a resort hotel
The hotel is neglected, the parking lot is dirt with holes, and the lighting is poor at night. They don't inform you that all the restaurants will be closed, and you have to queue to get in
As for PortAventura World, the theme park is awful. I don't plan to ever return unless they change their system of charging for everything

Inma, Marta, Melody, Miguel are very good at customer service. Thank you all for your excellent hospitality. You all made our stay very remarkable. Inma was very helpful with drink proposals
Marta made my son feel very welcome. Melody provided excellent services throughout and gave us directions. Miguel was very customer friendly especially during the night shows
Me and my fiancé has the absolute best time here on our little September get away! Not only did I get engaged at the hotel we had amazing service from all the bar team especially Marta she’s a brilliant lady who really cares about everyone she serves she definitely made our time extra special!! The rooms are immaculate and the pool is amazing many sunbeds for all to enjoy and the animation team did...
We don’t eat here otherwise, so I can’t say much more about that. Unfortunately, reserving sunbeds with towels does happen, but in general you can still find a spot
Marta being our favourite with her beautiful smile with service every day. Couldn't recommend this hotel enough we will hopefully be back in the future!!
Pools- AMAZING
Staff- AMAZING
And the location is perfect not far away from anywhere and there’s so much transport around if you wanted to travel further

Stayed in october for a little break, the hotel was good value for money and very clean. The rooms could do with updating and the food needs more variety but other than that we enjoyed our stay and would go again
The cover is torn and has holes. Still have a yellow spot on my chest. The bathroom is also worn out. The tub, chrome taps and railings are already been blur. The shower curtain should be put in the trash
Great location for a quiet family holiday. Kids pool with a slide and large pool with a big area where little ones can play (about 0. Food was good, small pre-made plates helped reduce food waste
Towels were changed every day. The inside of the water bottle was dirty in the restaurant. :(
But the food is sufficient, tasty and varied. The beach is a few minutes' walk away
The hotel is old. 4* do not pull on the interior. The kitchen is good. Normal pool.
Stayed here years ago and decided to come back. It's not as cheap as it was but then what is ?
The food has improved, can't really fault it, lots of choice and plenty of meat options
We went half board and my mum has a gluten intolerance and they catered to her needs so well. The chef showed her everything that she could eat and even made her a gluten free pizza which was really nice - very impressed
My mum and I have been staying at the Delfin for a few years now. We like it’s a bit smaller so the staff get to know you. Everyone is very friendly and helpful
I also like the hotels commitment to the environment, with staff even helping out on beach clean up days too. Rooms are a nice size, we are never in them much. Most rooms have large walk in showers too
It’s an ideal location just a few minutes walk the beach, promenade and lots of shops and restaurants. There are at least 3 supermarkets within a 2 minute walk
The wristband system in the hotel is so handy, no need to carry cards/cash in the hotel you can do everything with the wristband
The food was nice especially the breakfast. The location was brilliant - next to so many shops, bars and restaurants and 5-10 min walk from the beach. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

The Ritz-Carlton brand speaks for itself and the expectation is high when staying here, as to be expected. The hotel was wonderful, and the staff were exceptional and attentive, and the food was also truly at a 5* level
Excellent! Very good, excellent, very good, excellent, very good, excellent, very good, excellent, very good, excellent, very good, excellent, very good, excellent, very good, excellent.
However, they didn't replenish the drinking water. After calling for water, I waited almost an hour to get it. The towels had mold and black spots. These issues shouldn't occur in a hotel of this caliber
The staff here is very well trained. The room we had is beautiful with views. The location is beautiful and right next to the beach. They even have a free shuttle from the hotel to plaça Catalunya
I've also stayed at hotels from this brand in places like Shanghai and Nanjing, and they've always been great! Planning to book 'her' again on my next trip to Barcelona, it's truly wonderful!
The rooms are huge and the decor is very suitable for summer – you could even shoot a movie here! It's really good, and there's also a Michelin three-star restaurant to dine at
Okay we were in Spain, but the majority of other guests were not Spanish and I find this quite exclusive and somewhat rude. 3:The surrounding area is very residential and this wasn't made clear on the TUI website
A large hotel with a huge number of people from different countries. Delicious and varied cuisine. Small pool for such a scale.
There was nothing terribly wrong with the hotel, just a few niggles which meant that we wouldn't return. 1: No tea and coffee facilities in the room which in a hotel pertaining to be 4* is poor
I’ve recently returned from a 4 night stay at this hotel to celebrate my friends 21st birthday and it was honestly amazing
We got a taxi to Portaventura and it said €23 but the taxi driver charged us €32!!! Which was a complete scam! Following this we go the bus back to the hotel (we know nothing about bus’s but we managed to get back okay only costing us €8 altogether by going on 2 different buses!) The hotel is also right on the beach too!
Rooms-
The room was gorgeous, the shower pressure was amazing
Food and drink -
There was plenty of different foods to chose from, I am not a picky eater but there was something for everyone, the only one thing I could say about the food is that there isn’t hashbrows at breakfast but that’s me just clutching at straws! The drinks were good, although if your wanting top brands then you have to pay a bit more and the cocktails are on tap
The hotel's swimming pool is also quite nice. Bad points are also prominent: The rooms don't provide tissues, and there aren't even water glasses, which is very inconvenient
Spacious rooms , beds, all very clean nice design !
###########update##################
No iron in the room, I am joining the MSP GLOBAL event with wrinkled shirts!
###########update#################
The minibar fridge is empty guys! Usuallt 4 stars hotel provide some merchandise and we pay for what we consume!
Also no kettle and coffe sachet or Nescafe or coffe machine, other hotels do have those
Good points: The hotel has a great location and a nice environment, with direct access to the park. The rooms are spacious, and although the facilities are old, they are relatively clean

The bathroom lacked space to store our toiletries (just a minor point really). We tried the indoor pool which was free and very nice indeed
The outdoor facilities were fine except the hot tub appeared to keep the lifeguard busy managing it owing to its over popularity. However we felt a little captive and ended up taking a bus from the bus station to Lloret
A nice touch was the restricted access pass system for the luggage room - it would be nice to see that in other hotels. The room was adequate for two adults and our thirteen year old. And the cleaning service was good
On some days we found some enjoyable options but others not so though we were always able to fall back on the cold meats, cheeses and salads. Breakfasts were okay with eggs and “Spanish” bacon cooked to order
We were considering a score of 4 but have downgrade to 3 upon final review. The hotel overall is a nice family hotel sited away from but not far from the beach. We experienced undisturbed sleep
There was also a loose power socket adjacent to the TV - not a problem for us but we would have been concerned had there been younger children in our party

They turn up the music during activities and sometimes leave the volume really high. People put towels on the sunbeds and claim them for hours while not using the sunbeds, so no one else can use them
On the beach hotel, family-friendly, amazing pool!
A very big family-friendly hotel with a wonderful sea view and direct access to the beach! Obviously very crowded in the middle of August
A special note for the amazing Tahiti's style swimming pool with pool bar and daily funny water activities. There is also a nice small fitness-room with Technogym equipment
The nicest experience was a beach , clean and quiet and also big swimming pool. Schame the bar by the pool was close, couldn’t get a sun lounge on the beach either, no animation group too. Overall we had nice time there
Otherwise people keep their stuff on them all day and you have to either stand in the pool or leave the grounds because the indoor spaces are not kept cool
I liked everything, next to the Hotel are so good Restaurant and the beach was very nice. The Rooms are so good. The Service was perfekt, they were friendly and helpful.

I absolutely loved the design style – modern and minimalist, yet with thoughtful details. The color scheme and furniture placement were very tasteful, making it perfect for photos
This hotel truly exceeded my expectations! The room was impeccably clean, every corner spotless, and the bedding had a subtle fresh scent that made my stay incredibly comfortable
The public areas were also well-maintained, giving the whole place a feeling of both luxury and warmth. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!
There's a mall across the street, which makes dining very convenient. Getting to tourist attractions requires taking the subway or bus. It's perfect for a relaxing beach vacation
But there's a good shopping mall with plenty of dining options, including American staples (McDonald's, Taco Bell, KFC, Five Guys, etc. ) and Metro train station is less than 10min walk
The lounge offered very little in terms of food, especially hot dishes. The room itself felt a bit old. Otherwise, no major issues. The minibar was completely empty.
