Hotel Costabella in Girona

Quiet location just outside of Girona. Easy parking. Front desk staff members were friendly and helpful. Lobby is nice. Comfortable sitting area with small library. Itvwas a greatest bonus to have a hot tub and sauna. Rooms are nicely decorated. Comfortable beds.

Perfecte value for money. Fully refurbished, ample and comfortable rooms and a good quality restaurant. Outside the city center so very quiet at night.

Very clean hotel. The room size is good for 2 ppl and have spaces to put 2 big luagges. They are very friendly and the carpark is convenient.

Phenomenal stay in October as a jumping off point to visit other towns in the area. Conveniently near other supermarkets. Allowed us an early check in which we were super grateful for, and the rooms were super comfortable.
Probably wouldn’t recommend opening the windows too long as we had to catch a few stink bugs that would wander in through the window, but no need as the AC worked great. Highly recommend the breakfast which was delicious and a super varied spread. Dinner at the restaurant was also very yummy. Will happily be back!

A superb place to stay. From the moment we were dropped off by the taxi (which took about 15 minutes from the airport) we had great customer service throughout our stay. The reception staff luckily for us spoke English but also had a good sense of humour. The hotel is well designed with minimal noise and being a smaller hotel nothing seemed stressful. The breakfast buffet did the job and the honesty bar is a superb idea. Good value too. The room was superb, with great beds/pillows, a decent sound system, safe, plenty of space for clothes, bathroom and shower were superb, glorious air conditioning and a shutter that kept the room dark. So our 3 nights felt very refreshing. The pool area is small but was lovely and the terrace was a great spot for a drink or catching some sun. Gym was also a bit small but for a half hour workout it was perfect. Only minor points was the coffee not being topped up in our room, the fridge wasn't that cold and the location (not much around) but these weren't issues. It's well located for roads/bus stops and a 15 minute slow walk takes you into the stunning City centre. The supermarket up the road was useful to bring a snack back for lunch. The last thing to mention was the hotel and Girona in general felt very safe. Great to visit first Sunday in the month when the museums were free and we only have happy memories of our stay at the Hotel Costabella and would love to return one day. Thanks to all the staff for looking after us.

This was our second time staying at the Hotel Costabella and we were absolutely thrilled. A very friendly welcome, a clean room. The room furnishings were also very modern. We immediately felt very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. Plenty of choice, and it's always replenished.

The sauna and fitness center are free to use, which we used every day. However, there was no relaxation area, which is a shame. The whirlpool unfortunately required a fee, which we also found disappointing. It would be a great alternative, especially on days when the weather isn't so great.

But otherwise, we couldn't find any complaints, and we will definitely book the hotel again when we travel to Girona. Highly recommended.

We only stayed for one night, but it was a really enjoyable experience! The rooms were comfortable and modern. We arrived at night but the person checking us in was very nice and accommodating. They have an honesty bar, where you can get snacks and drinks, you need to fill out a form of what you take and hand it into the front desk to pay later which I thought was cool. Definitely a nice treat when we arrived.
Would definitely stay again!

Had a lovely 5 day stay at this beautiful hotel which provides very easy access to the centre of Girona (short bus ride or walk). Staff unfailingly helpful and pleasant. Enjoyed my dinners there in the comfortable dining room, and the ‘honesty bar’ in the lounge where you could get drinks and snacks at any time. Highly recommended.
