While my stay at the hotel was pleasant overall, I was surprised to find that certain amenities I consider standard for a 4- or 5-star hotel were missing. Complimentary drinking water, coffee and tea, a bath towel, and a chair in the room are basic expectations at this level of service. The hotel is neglected, the parking lot is dirt with holes, and the lighting is poor at night. They don't inform you that all the restaurants will be closed, and you have to queue to get in. As for PortAventura World, the theme park is awful. I don't plan to ever return unless they change their system of charging for everything.

However, the bed sheets didn’t appear to be changed that often and I had to request clean towels as we were still using the same ones after 4 days. We have had a fantastic time at this hotel! Entertainment staff were incredible and we could definitely tell how much they love their jobs. The theme nights were enjoyable especially when trying all the yummy food. Thank you for such an amazing holiday and hopefully one day we will be back.

We had a lovely stay at Best Negresco. The sea view was stunning from our room even though we didn’t book it! The beach was a 2 minute walk, perfect location. The hotel was very clean. Plenty of varieties of food to choose from. Bar staff and reception staff were friendly, especially Adrian who was very helpful.

Our stay has been great. Enjoyed every moment of our stay . Staff were cheerful and friendly. Rooms were clean and well equipped. Food was good . Especially the breakfast was excellent with variety of cheese bread biscuits fruit and English breakfast.

I must say the food surprised me with how nice it was however after a few days it does get a little bit repetitive if you're staying there for 7 days +. Rooms were always cleaned well. Things I would improve is leaving non slippery mats next to the pools as many kids slipped over and bumped the heads (even whilst walking so it wasn't the case of children running). This hotel has as many positives about it if you look. The food is good and varied. The location is ideal. 10 minutes walk to the beach and come back through the town or vise versa. Hotel is based along the main strip, so shops and restaurants are pretty close. Not long a walk to the beach, very nice and friendly people. Would highly recommend going here, had an awesome stay
