While my stay at the hotel was pleasant overall, I was surprised to find that certain amenities I consider standard for a 4- or 5-star hotel were missing. Complimentary drinking water, coffee and tea, a bath towel, and a chair in the room are basic expectations at this level of service. The hotel is neglected, the parking lot is dirt with holes, and the lighting is poor at night. They don't inform you that all the restaurants will be closed, and you have to queue to get in. As for PortAventura World, the theme park is awful. I don't plan to ever return unless they change their system of charging for everything.

Everything was very nice. Except we had a room with a smelly toilet. Location, food perfect, all staff trying for their best, can't say anything bad.

We booked this hotel based on good reviews and seeking to avoid Lloret de Mar. At just under £1000 for 6 nights for the three of us, half board, it was a good deal. Our stay has been great. Enjoyed every moment of our stay . Staff were cheerful and friendly. Rooms were clean and well equipped. Food was good . Especially the breakfast was excellent with variety of cheese bread biscuits fruit and English breakfast.

Staff at the bar area really nice and friendly, restaurant staff nice as well. Rooms basic but very clean. Beds firm but comfy We were just bed and breakfast- breakfast good plenty selection hot or continental- plenty even for fussy eaters like me. I must say the food surprised me with how nice it was however after a few days it does get a little bit repetitive if you're staying there for 7 days +. Rooms were always cleaned well. Things I would improve is leaving non slippery mats next to the pools as many kids slipped over and bumped the heads (even whilst walking so it wasn't the case of children running). Stayed for 4nights with the teenage child. This was our first hotel where was no music in the restaurant , inside bar either outside around the swimming pool. It's close to the beach. However, the restaurant has a considerable queue. Additionally, the cleanliness of the hotel and rooms has to be improved. A few employees are not amiable.

The photos are accurate in terms of the amenities, but the actual experience was much less of a “resort experience” than expected. Firstly, there are constantly lineups for everything. This resort, books, way too many people for what they have to offer for service. For starters, you cannot sit in any of the Deck chairs unless you wake up early before the breakfast opens and take turns with your group...

Front desk staff was very good, lots of issues like rooms not being cleaned until late afternoon, no mini bars after paying for them, and being told we can switch rooms our last day, but it really meaning to check out in the morning with no room access until the late afternoon and having to take luggage across hotel to store.

There's a mall across the street, which makes dining very convenient. Getting to tourist attractions requires taking the subway or bus. It's perfect for a relaxing beach vacation. The hotel also has a car rental company, so you can easily rent a car for a day trip to explore nearby towns.

First-row sea view, perfect for a vacation. Right across from the hotel is a shopping area, so you can buy whatever you want to eat. However, the location is a bit out of the way. If you're on a business trip, getting to the city center will take some time.

At first, it was a bit uncomfortable staying in a ground-floor room – there was a slight smell of dampness. However, after we mentioned it to the hotel staff, our room was immediately changed, and the new one was simply wonderful. The staff were very helpful, polite, and genuinely caring.
