Hotel Celimar in Sitges

RUDE. The waitress was deliberately avoiding serving us. We asked if we could order food and she shouted NO at us. We then ordered at the bar. So did everyone else. Appalling.

I’ll start with the positives, the location is super. Beachfront, beautiful looking hotel from the front.
The staff was all very friendly and pleasant.
Unfortunately this hotel needs modernising.
We’re regular visitors to the area and have stayed in far better hotels for half the price.
They are taking money but not putting it back into the hotel which is a shame.
It’s not a quaint hotel, it’s old and tired.
The cleaners in a morning couldn’t make anymore if they tried. The walls and doors are paper thin so it’s impossible sleep or lie in.
The electric buzzed all night long.
The smells from the bathroom was gross.
I could go on but I won’t.
Would not return.

Really bad experience especially with Sonia.
She was incompetent and had poor skill in client service. We are good customer me and my family. (We payed 4000 euros for 1 week at this hotel). During this stay we have rented beach towels. We gave back the towels and asked for our deposit but they told us that we didn't give back 1 towel (that is not true, we gave it in the morning) and Sonia didn't give us our deposit back (first she wanted to keep the 20 euros of deposit and we had to fight to get back at least 10 euros). We have tried to tell her that but she didn't want to hear us. She shout at me in front of customers because i told her they are thieves. Dont go there. There are way better hotels in Sitges.
I think it is a pity to lose good customers bringing you money just for 10 euros...

We booked a week hollyday at this hotel When we came to our room following was broken -Light in roof -Light at the bed was loose Hanging out of the wall -The bath water change from warm to cold whenever other guest at the hotel use their bath -they dont clean between the madress and the sheets - wifi work now and then The hotel could now give us another room where everything would work (problem with the Water) and maintenance in General Refund They offered 400 of 1400 euro back We could not accept this and now we deal with *********** trying to handle the case Info The staff knows everything about whats wrong with the Building (you can see it on their faces) qnd they stay silend maybe afread of loosing their jobs
