We really enjoyed our time at Rio Bravo! The staff were friendly and kind, and even taught us a bit of Spanish. The buffet offers a good selection of food, and we didn’t mind the 3 drink per person cap (it’s designed to stop people misbehaving), and the staff were lenient. The resort is excellent! One thing i noticed. There is no music playing and the one they have is for a funeral home. They need an activity person to make people have a good time other than eat and tan. The show at 9 pm is not good. Singers cant engage with customers because they are bad. The room was clean, a musty scent when I first arrived, but that was all. The pools were nice and the staff were attentive and friendly. The bars only a few property's down are open all night and make the BEST pizza. The lobby bar has 24h espressos and everyone speaks English (as well French, Spanish and German). We had an amaizing experience. All the services were the best. The food was very good, the cleaning services were the best (the towels were changed daily, the room was cleaned daily). Partner and I booked a few nights here without knowing it was a German hotspot. The staff were incredibly accommodating and responsive to Spanish natives and made us feel very welcome.

The hotel is definitely not a 4 star, a 3 star hotel is more accurate. An example of why this is is there is no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, you have to rent them and the staff told me that they only have 6 for the whole hotel. There is no room service and only a vending machine if you want snacks etc. Breakfast is nice and varied options.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. It was very clean, and housekeeping remade our beds and tidied our rooms daily, which I was not expecting on a 4 night stay. The sea view room was absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend staying here. The only minor drawback was that the air conditioning was under maintenance for both days of my stay, and the air it blew out had an unpleasant odor. However, everything else was superb! Manaus hotel is a lovely hotel with exceptional staff 👌 ALL of the staff here are so friendly and kind. It was my first solo holiday and they made it so easy with there friendliness. Breakfast was amazing as was dinner so much choice and exceptionally good food. Something for all tastes.. I was upgraded to another room with a better balcony so I could relax and read without distraction on the balcony...

Away from the noisiest parts of Arenal the hotel was fine for a short break. Reception staff could have been friendlier and more informative when checking in, but the room we were allocated was fine and overlooked the pool and the trees. Housekeeping was very good with rooms cleaned and towels replaced daily. Only issue with the meals was that some of the food on the evening buffet wasn't replenished...

What can I say... the service was extremely unfriendly, we had dirty towels covered in other people's hair and a floor that hadn't been cleaned much. The bed sheets were stained and you didn't really feel comfortable there. OK for a party holiday but definitely not bearable sober. Breakfast was OK though.

A small run Hotel of 120 rooms I think with one lift.. Be prepared for the Hotel Tax on check In at reception, payment may be made by debit card.. I've paid for two excursions arranged by the Hotel but payment was only made by Euros. Joanna the receptionist was very helpful to give Me directions to the nearest bank.. All the staff are so friendly, the food has always been to a very high standard....

This is the 6th or 7th time I have stayed at the hotel. I used to go with a travel agency, now I go by myself. It is enough to agree with the owner of the hotel Jordi - a very nice and caring person.
