Had a wonderful stay at Coral Teide Mar! Everything was great from start to finish. The room was especially impressive—very well-equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for 11 days in October and had a wonderful time. It was exactly what we were looking for and perfect as a luxurious yet simple base. We had a studio with spacious beds, a kitchenette with a fridge and a balcony with beautiful views of both the ocean and the mountains. The location is somewhat touristy, but thanks to its perfect location on the bus route, you can get anywhere on the island in no time. We also enjoyed just hopping on the bus and looking out the window on our way to new destinations. The swimming pool is also nice and cool, more spacious than expected and, like the garden, well maintained.

The staff are very professional and friendly, service-oriented and neat. The room was tidied up every day. The breakfast was also perfect as a good start to the day (only the coffee was a little less so). I look forward to coming back to this hotel.

The only downside is the club opposite the hotel, which often plays loud music and makes a lot of noise. In a warm country, you often sleep with the windows open, but then the noise comes in. We didn't mind this too much, but if it bothers you, keep in mind.

Visited here twice, and will definitely be back! Always a warm welcome from the staff who go beyond to make sure you have a special stay 😊 perfect location to explore the surrounding areas, pick ups available for excursions around the island, and plenty of bars, shops and restaurants within walking distance.

It's an old building with an old building feel. Cleanliness is good with cleaners working 5/7 days pw. Towels and bedding changed every 3 or 4 days. Room facilities are excellent with everything you need to cook basic meals. Shampoo and soap provided.

Considering the price, the hotel was very good. It fully matched what we paid for. The room was cleaned regularly, the trash was taken out, and the reception staff were friendly and welcoming. Everyone was smiling and willing to help whenever they could. Thank you all !

Perfection! Great stay at this hôtel

We had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the location is excellent for exploring the city, and we found our room to be very clean upon arrival.

However, the negatives significantly impacted our stay. We were assigned a room at the front of the hotel, directly above the main entrance. This location was extremely noisy at all hours. Because we were above the door, we could constantly smell cigarette smoke wafting up from people smoking outside, which made the room unpleasant.

We also had a few concerning issues inside the room. The hair dryer was sparking when we tried to use it. On one of the days, there was also a very bad smell coming from the toilet.

We knew the noise and smoke would be a problem on our first day and asked the receptionist if we could move. We were very disappointed to be told that we would have to pay more to be moved to a different room.

Overall, while the location and cleanliness are good, we cannot recommend this hotel if you get a room at the front. The noise, smoke, and maintenance problems, combined with the unhelpful response from staff, made for a poor experience.

A basic hotel with everything you need. Super clean with towels changed every day apart from Wednesday and Sunday. Excellent location with several bars and restaurants within easy walking distance as well as a shop underneath the hotel. Pool rules were quite strict with no balls or inflatables but the drinks were very cheap! Rooms on the pictures show a dividing wall between the bed and living area (sofa bed) but not many rooms have this wall so privacy is none existent! Hairdryer provided in the rooms as well as microwave and cooking utensils. The fridge is large enough for food and drinks and there is a table area and seats to eat in the room. The breakfast buffet is really good value for money. There is no other food served in the hotel for the rest of the day but eating out is so cheap for all meals with cafes, tapas, Italian, Indian, Mediterranean and English food within easy walking distance. The Apricot Bar underneath the hotel plays different sports channels including English football games. Taxis to the old town averaged at €6 for a six seater and the rank is outside so readily available. The hotel is rated 3* and this feels right. Staff are friendly and welcoming. We didn't raise any issues so didn't need anything resolving. Clean, tidy, simple, excellent location, great value for money. Nothing extra.

Pizza was great, service great.

Food came within 5 mins(I believe the restaurant may have been empty at the time) and overall the food was good.
Pros:
- Food came quickly
- Food was good
- Napkins were on the table
- A large variety of choice on the menu
- A good view of the sea
Cons:
- Hygiene was poor
- The place seems very outdated and grotty
- The tablecloth seemed to have never been cleaned since it had been put on
- The toilets had no disabled access, the stairs were easy to trip over
- Very cramped when sat down, ended up knocking over my glass of drink when getting up from my seat
Overall, I certainly do not recommend this place!

Food was too simple and not tasty at all.

Bad service! We had 4 different waitresses and only one of them seemed somewhat nice.
Food was decent but nothing special and definently not worth the money.

While in Puerto de la Cruz, we decided to try this restaurant per recommendation.

It is favored by guests of Hotel near by and also locals- reservation is recommended.

As for the food in loud dining area, I found that their Endive salad was not paired properly with roquefort cheese sauce as bitter with bitter did not complement each other, their lobster bisque was very runny with just a flavor (not much "chunks" to speak of), secreto iberico with goose liver was good enough to be average, but beef filet with port wine reduction was right on spot.

In summary, there wasn't much memory for us to take back with us or have us return.
