Vistamar Apartamentos in Benidorm

There was a group of 7 of us who came for the Cheltenham Festival and stayed here. Honestly, could not fault the place. Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The bar in the hotel is as cheap as chips which is another bonus - 3€ for a pint of Cruzcampo that's nice and cold, plenty of drinks and spirits available too. The rooms are very modern, spacious and clean, balconies are huge no matter whether you're in the middle or on the corner of the building. Very close to a lot of shops and pubs, which again is ideal and considering this at night there's hardly any noise. If I was to start looking for flaws then it wouldn't be worth my time. It's overall a pleasant place to stay and we've even booked to come back in March next year for Cheltenham again!

Booked premium room, roomy, clean, everything you need, air con was switched off due to climate, still too hot for me, missing table and chairs outside at the pool, I find it hard to sit/lay on sunbeds too long, you pay 1.5 euros a day for your sunbed, at first I thought this was a negative, but it was great, pay your money put your towel on it and it’s yours all day, no pressure if you go for lunch, a walk etc, and plenty of beds, no sunbed wars here, but they are hard plastic, so bought a couple of blow up beds, you can lie on the grass free of charge, you can take your own drink to the pool as long as no glass, there is a bar inside that you can buy and take outside at reasonable prices. Lovely large balcony with table, chairs and 2 sun loungers.

Good apartments only downfall you have to clean to get deposit back and you have to pay a deposit on the day you arrive but the rooms are good the staff are lovely it is a shame it doesn’t have its own pool it has to share but is a good apartment

Just returned from 2 weeks in the Vistamar Apartments Benidorm Staff are very helpful and friendly Arrived very late at night but had no problem getting to our room which was on the 16th floor and were even upgraded to a superior room. You have to pay a deposit of 150 euros for the room and get it back when you leave so being you have left the room clean and clear of any rubbish, not my idea of a holiday but that's how it is. Lifts are very slow There is no cleaner service so you have to go to reception to get clean towels and sheets on allocated days, The apartment has everything you need as far as cooking goes, Air con is available at a price but we didn't have it The pool area is very good but you have to pay for your sun bed but at 1 euro 50 its a lot cheaper than going to the beach where they charge 6 euros. There is a spacious veranda at the front of the apartments where you can sit and have a drink from the bar. the only complaint I would have is if you want ice to take to your room and your not buying a drink you have to pay 1 euro for 2 ice cubes! Lifts are extremely slow, Wi fi is free but after day 4 we kept getting kicked off. The apartments are quiet at night but you are only a 10/15 minute walk away from the night life If you need a mobility scooter reception will arrange it for you, There is a 24 hour small supermarket down the street on the right hand side, and if your looking for food the Wooky Hollow 2 is just down the street where the food is very good. The outdoor market is close by on Sundays and Wednesdays Would go back if I am ever in Benidorm

Such a warm welcome from the staff when we arrived late at night. Check in was very easy and quick, checking out was very quick and straightforward too. Nothing was too much trouble the staff were always on hand 24/7. Loved sitting outside on the terrace watching the world go by. Plus there was plenty of space around the poolside to relax too. Plenty of sun loungers which we could hire for a very small fee. Downside the sun loungers are not very comfortable to lay on for long periods of time. The apartment we had was spotless and plenty of room for the both of us. Plus side was the huge balcony we had, which meant there was plenty of space to sit outside and relax, added bonus was there was a clothes rack so we could dry towels etc. Definitely excellent value for money. The whole place was spotless in all areas of the building inside and out. The noise wast bad at all too which definitely was a big bonus
