Stayed here for a week good location found the staff very friendly food was OK bit repetitive but choice was fine meat fish pasta and salad. The rooms were a good size people say a bit dated ok but it was only to sleep in didn't intend to spend a week in it. Cleaning and change of bedding every day so can't complain there all in all would I stay again for the price yes.

Just a one night experience meeting friends, staff were very good and evening meal and breakfast both buffet style help yourself was enjoyable and plenty of choice. A solo traveller staying in January. A very comfortable clean room nice comfortable bed and a tv with a few English channels. First time to Benidorm, and first visit at the Sol Pelicanos. A couple of negatives, check in was very slow but I think they had issues with the computers, so you maybe best if you can check in online before you get there. Lovely stay at sol pelicanos, rooms were as expected, clean and serviceable. Food was good, as a vegetarian I always had something to eat. Service was great, very attentive. Since it's the off season we didn't use the pool, but had plenty of activities to do in the day thanks to Javi's yoga classes! Happy with everything in the hotel. Food options were brilliant at all meals. Great location as well as it's only a few minutes walk from the main places I go to at night, so it's easy to get home.

I stayed in one of the out buildings and the noise kept me awake you can hear people walking up the stairs doors banging and traffic. There was a horrible stale smell in room.

Great experience, I would say this is my preferred hotel in Benidorm. Fantastic location, very friendly staff. Clean room and common areas. I loved the indoor pool. There was always lots of choices at mealtimes. Would recommend staying here, great see views from the high rooms too. One thing is that the noise carries from the new town, but it is not too loud and didn't disturb me.

A wonderful stay, everything is here for all your needs. Room had a good pool view and was always cleaned daily. Staff service was friendly and helpful. Lovely quiet hotel only 5 minutes walk to the beach and the old town. Excellent variety of food at breakfast. Two outside pools with plenty of sun loungers also 1 heated indoor pool with jacuzzi.

Always clean. Comfortable beds. Good breakfast selection. The only things that let it down was the hotel bar closing at 8pm, and they never, ever tell you which of the 2 hotels you're actually staying at. No problem the first time, but the second time one of our party had severe mobility issues, and the walk to the other site wasn't a great experience.

Good location. Clean rooms and food diversity is very good. The walls between rooms are thin so you can hear your neighbours. The parking is not free and the elevators are too small. Staff is very polite and willing to help. All in all this hotel is very good. My recommendation!

Ignore negative reviews... great hotel, great rooms, lots of lovely food, great friendly staff... if I had to say one negative it would be ferrel kids running around all evening causing a nuisance... parents arnt watching them because their on holiday.... would definitely use this hotel again though.

Stayed for long weekend, end of February. Hotel was spotless. Lifts can be very busy. Plenty of options in the buffet for lunch and dinner. Staff were very nice, Adrian on reception was very helpful!! Great location and would stay again.

I have been to the Calypso several times now and I have never been disappointed. We got a good deal with jet2 just before the prices went through the roof. We requested a room near the lift due to some mobility issues and that is what we got This is the first time we had went full board and I am glad we did . Room cleaning was hit & miss, some days cleaning done, other days just towels changed. Entertainment was poor, not much variety in the evening unless you just want ballroom dancing. On a positive note, big thanks to Caroline who was always there to help. And Lawrence on the bar is a credit to the hotel.

Perfect place to stay if you like both the city and the beach. It's in "Centro" of everything you come to Benidorm for. My full recommendation. I will add that the breakfast buffet was excellent (but very noisy)

This was a much needed break in the current crisis and it more than exceeded our expèctations. We have stayed here many times and really recommend this hotel. Cleanliness was fantastic, our room was spotless as was the pool area and diningroom and their rooftop bar is amazing. Loved it!

We really enjoyed our stay. We had room 1207 with nice views. I enjoyed the dinners, but wasn't too happy about coffee and juice at breakfast. Short walk to the beach and old town. We had sometimes trouble parking, but on the end find a spot. But I guess, it is a nightmare in the summer.

Hotel is beautiful with plenty elevators so you are never waiting long for one. Wide selection of food that caters to fussy eaters and those with a more adventurous taste. Staff are all lovely. We stayed here for a week with friends. We have all travelled extensively in Europe and we all can honestly say this is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The hotel was nice and location was great. However for us the food was the biggest let down. We paid full board but we hardly ate there because it was not food that we would eat. Been coming to benidorm for years and love the servigroup hotels. Our favorite being calypso but fancied a change. The Venus doesn’t disappoint. This is a genuine review and we could honestly say it was a fabulous hotel. We booked a Premier room which has extras like bathrobe and slippers and little treats. Stayed at this hotel recently and it does exactly what you need for a lively Benidorm break. Great central location close to the beach and nightlife, clean rooms, good breakfast and friendly staff. It can be a bit noisy, but that’s expected given the area. Overall, great value for a fun stay.

Gem of a hotel, ideal location, rooms are typical of all hotels - modern and clean. Staff all very friendly. Good hotel with a great location close to all entertainment in Benidorm. Room was clean and a reasonable size. Breakfast was very good with British bacon. Lunch/dinner was decent with sufficient choice. The hotel was good value for money given its location.

Stayed here May 2025. Its a very short walk to the beach and about a 10 minute walk to the new town. The hotel was clean and the staff were helpful. The food was good and had lots of options. The restaurant got very busy, to avoid disappointment get down early, especially for breakfast. We have just got back from our week holiday staying at this hotel, We arrived on a late check in approx 0015hrs, 6 of us where processed fairly quickly. No intorduction to the hotel was given, just a sheet of paper with meal times and swimming times. The rooms where nice, the disappointment was NO BALCONY, never noticed in the initial booking as it wasn't memtioned that this hotel has NO balconies...

This is a great hotel for young children, loads of stuff to do. It is very difficult to find your way around the hotel, the layout is very strange. Plenty of lifts though but choosing the right one for the location was the task. Food was nice and always plenty of options.
