Located in the heart of Hikkaduwa very easy access to everything you need in the area adjoining the variety of food stations and pubs in the area facing the beach and the pool on the edge of the beach balconies facing the sea gives nice atmosphere to hangout staff is very friendly food in tasty place is clean rooms are comfy recomend for family, friends, couples, solo for any type of vacation

Every time I visit Sri Lanka I spend a few days in the Susantha Garden Hotel. It's a beautiful small hotel with a well cleaned pool and a really good restaurant. The staff is super friendly and the rooms are clean

The only minus is that the wifi isn't working properly and when there is connection it's only working in the restaurant area, sometimes at the pool. I could definitely stay here again!

The railway is directly infront of the hotel so it can become much loud sometimes. For me this was never a problem. You can reach the beach within 1 minute

Tried their breakfast meal for the kid. Its for 2500 lkr for one omelette and toast with fruits and juice and a cup of coffee. The food was good and it was quick as there were no customers at the time we reached

This was the last of the 4 hotels we did in our 10 day trip. Boutique resort, just 15 rooms and a lovely lawn and a 20 met pool. Outstanding service, good food and just a min walk across the tracks to the bentota beach.

This is not our first time here, everything went great last year, and so with the wealth of options on the island we decided not to tempt fate and stay here again (we were welcomed with even greater hospitality than the year before), especially since the price was more than right

What pleased me was that the entire staff has not changed in a year, all the same faces, one team! This year I will note that the path to the beach is well maintained, leveled every morning, a hotel sign appeared on the beach

What can I say! Such a lovely place. From start to finish our 10days here were lovely. The room was great, quite spacious with a fab view over the pool and river. Clean tidy with all the basics you need (inc fridge)

If you want to go anywhere Mr Kumara will arrange everything from a Tuk Tuk (Saman the driver is excellent) to an airport collection taxi or a river cruise. This is the total package and nothing is too much trouble

Riverside Inn Fuji is a beautiful place to stay. The views of the estuary are breathtaking andthe surroundings are so peaceful and calming, the beds are very comfortable and the whole place is so clean

There's a good variety of juice and fruits for breakfast and if you like eggs every day then you're all set

Breakfast was amazing, fresh fruit and juice. Eggs done your way, good coffee and an extra Sri Lankan something every day. The owners are such a lovely couple, so helpful and accommodating

The owner used to work as a Japanese cuisine chef in Japan, and by coincidence, we happened to know very well the town where he once lived

We made use of the infinity pool, from which we watched the sunset over the river. We had two evening meals at the hotel which were more than substantial. The hotel arranged a boat safari and the staff were excellent

An excellent stay - totally off the beaten track with a lovely pool area and clean rooms. River safaris are minutes away and so are some lovely beachside restaurants. Highly recommend!

Lovely place and lively family. In the middle of nature next to the river bank. We Had a good time sitting by the pool and watching the sun set. Many animals also visit this site

We stayed here for a little over two weeks in the garden section of the hotel, our room was clean and tidy with suitable mosquito netting provided. The room was regularly cleaned and new towels provided

We stayed in room 01 on the second floor and had no mosquitoes, but others complained about the mosquitoes being numerous and the canopy over the bed not helping, perhaps because our windows faced the beach, while others had windows facing the forest (on the other side of the building)

It's 1 minute from the beach and has its own restaurant (the prices are the same as elsewhere, the portions aren't huge, but they're not small either; we often shared a meal; the food is pretty much the same in all the restaurants)

It’s quirky and has a train line in front of the sea view rooms. It’s a two minute walk to a stunning beach and Ocean View is situated next to a bar which serves food as well as drinks. I would go back in a heartbeat

This is an absolute gem of a place. My friend and I spent two weeks here and the owner was absolutely lovely. We had fresh fruit for breakfast with fresh juice and the option of boiled or fried eggs or an omelette

Go for the deluxe rooms, not for cabanas! This hotel have a lower rating in booking. com just because of their tidy cabanas. But the deluxe rooms are spacious and have a nice garden view

The beach is just a 2–3 minute walk away, you should cross the railway and walk through a little jungle. We met a bearcat and a peacock. It looked really magical, like in a fairytale

super service they gives to us. rockside bech resort foods are very delicious .last dinner bffet is very specillay for us becuse they gve free candylight dinner to me and my wife. they are specially respect our privacy.

We stayed at this lovely, relaxing and unassuming hotel for 3 days and could not fault the exceptional service provided by all the staff, especially the main host Hemasiri who always presented with a smile, was honest, super friendly, warm and helpful

Although a few general updates wouldn’t go astray, the hotel grounds with the river front felt like a tropical oasis away from the hustle and bustle of life. The lunch and breakfast portions were huge and delicious

But the most important is the treatment Dr Rohita prescribes to you , If it would not be helpful i would not come back every year!

Buffet breakfast, really designed for local tastes, fruit and very nice scammbled eggs to order plus toast coffee/tea. Toaster hopeless they need to buy a new one the bread did not stay down you had to hold it down

Only a very short walk to the beach and there are many restaurants nearby. Clean rooms, very good shower and a comfy bed. All the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I will definitely be staying here again

OK hotel. A bit of problems in the room. Got locked inside the bathroom, could not close one window, and some lamps did not work. Me and another cut our feet in the pool. Good AC and breakfast. 5min walk to the beach.

He also picked us up from the airport, and drove us to Hillary’s via a turtle hatchery and a boat trip on the River Madu. I would definitely recommend him as a driver if you’re looking for someone reliable

The location is perfect for enjoying stunning sunsets, which we absolutely loved. We stayed in a cabin with a superb view, and the accommodations were fantastic

Such a lovely hotel, the room is so clean & the garden is amazing 😍 They have 2 pools, and if you are lucky you might get too see some monkeys pass by 🐵 The staff is very friendly & they take such good care of you as a guest

The manager was great very helpful. Made dinner for us for the couple of nights we were there. His wife is an excellent cook. The pool was good but shady by the early afternoon

Aayu is one of the best hosts we had in Sri Lanka, being so welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. She couldn't do enough for us, and her breakfasts were out of this world too

You have to cross the tracks in order to go to the beach, but it’s a couple of minutes walk from the hotel so it’s not a days hike away:) There is a nice restaurant with sunbeds and parasols on the beach that you can use for free if you buy things from the restaurant
