this is so far the best accomodation & hotel i have visited in sri lanka (now we have been here 2 week).
location is just best!!
you have a chance to just lie down in small front beach chair area and if you want to swim at sea there is door to jump on private beach shared with neighbur hotel. stairs for beach are not for old/ bad legger people cos they have lost last stair.
hotell staff and owner are Super.
they really make sure you will enjoy your stay here.
here you can pay with visa is you like. in unawatuna there is not possible to change dollars/ euros so you might like that. also you can jump to bus and go visit Galle (30 min/ 40 rupii) and change money there. Galle fort is also a Must visit same time you go.
at the time we stay here only minus point i can say we were in same hotel with a group of 6 russian people. i just cant stand their attitude and how pigfull they live and behave. for example they just run to kitchen area to make they own breakfast and kitchen door says in 15 cm large typing no own cooking and staff only. i have met only like 2/100 russian that i can deal with. hope some of them reads this comment also. it is not only for this place its everywhere..

The best part of unawatuna. The family that run this place are the nicest we met in Sri Lanka, staying here was the best part of being in the area.

Great place to stay, the rooms are clean and well equipped. Air-conditioning, fan, fridge and nice shower. The views are stunning and you can see amazing sunsets. Loved the rabbits too!!

Such a joy to have a time at this place. They can take care of you without any issue, because not a lot of people. Nice view, music, sea, no hurry (even they are just next to the road, you enter and only music of a sea. Good choice ! Thanks
