Hotel Aram in Galle

The son and the owner are amazing. He helped organize a surprise birthday party for me and arranged a cake, flowers, and balloons. THESE PEOPLE ARE INCREDIBLY FRIENDLY. The atmosphere feels just like home. First-class view, high standard, and delicious food. We will definitely come back.

We only stayed for one night in Arazo Villa but wished for more! It is a wonderful and quiet place to stay. Manori was so welcoming and lovely (she’s the host of this nice place). If you read this you definitely should stay here :) Everything you need is here.

I’m leaving this place with such a heavy heart. What was supposed to be just four nights turned into ten, and I left in tears. This place is pure magic, a place you soon call home because you truly feel part of it. The garden and the terrace are one of a kind spaces where you find a peace of mind that only very few places in the world can give.
But what makes it all so special is the beautiful family who takes care of this little oasis. Hasith and Manoj, thank you for your kindness and your professionalism, your Italian sister will always carry you in her heart.
A special thank you to Mama Sri Lanka. Dear Manuri, you are the beating heart of this place. From the very first day you welcomed me like a daughter, taking care of me as if I were your own. The unconditional love you give to your guests makes it impossible to leave without shedding the purest tears.
And don’t forget to try Manuri’s rice and curry. I literally had it every single night and you can’t miss her cooking class either. She is without a doubt the best cook on the island.
And of course, the true star is Tutù, my furry Sri Lankan brother.

The owners are so lovely and welcoming! Rooms are big with aircon and an amazing view on the ocean. The breakfast is soo delicious and only homemade food and self grown fruits.
Would definitely come back!!

The family who owns the villa are so warm and welcoming. Me and my friend stayed for a few nights and instantly felt right at home. Our room was so comfortable, and had a little balcony with a view of the ocean. We very much enjoyed our stay here!

They have an aggressive dog, few times I was worrying that he will bite us. I don't know why reviews is saying that dog is friendly. He is not. He nearly bite my partner because he was wearing hat.

Great accommodation with the loviest host. Rooms are nice, modern and spacious. Accommodation is quiet, only sounds of animals at night. Only a little light in the morning. The diner was amazing and the garden so lovely!
Location is nice with lookout over Unawatuna beach. Be aware it’s a steep climb up!

Beautiful family ran villa in Unawatuna, just a short walk from the Ocean. It is up a hill but the views from the roof top are outstanding. The staff are wonderfully kind and accommodating. Each room has mosquito nets, AC and your own Bathroom, with shower and toilet. The rooms are clean and spacious all with views to die for towards the ocean.
