Lovely pacious penthouse appartment up on the hill above beach and away from the hustle and bustle of Unawatuna. Great views from the balcony. Super breakfast up on the roof. Excellent service. Highly recommend.

Great location and even better host. The penthouse apartment overlooked the Unawatuna Beach with an unhindered sea view from end to end. The apartment was spacious and offered all the facilities to cook without needing to venture out (other than for buying the groceries). The establishment is managed and operated by Lara and his family who live in the ground floor apartment of the building, providing a local and family feel to the experience. The traditional breakfast, freshly cooked, every morning was so tasty and packed with flavour. I wouldn’t not change a thing about this place!

5 mins away from the beach. the host is helpful and the place is cozy. paid Rs 5,500 for a one night stay in a standard double room with AC. it was a steal at that price.

This one has incredible view, nice manager, who does things seriously well. Be aware, do not left balcony doors opened at evening night with lights on inside: room will be infested with bugs. Not biting ones, but anyway its not pretty. Our mistake :D
Room has everything to fight mosquitos, even baby spray.
You can also order food for evening and enjoy it on the balcony with a nice view, soundscape.
